About: I’ve been caring for pets for about 10 years, providing consistent, attentive care for dogs of different sizes and personalities. My experience includes daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, administering oral medications, light grooming such as brushing, and, most importantly, giving plenty of love and attention. About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and dogs that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school, and I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I have experience working with tiny and huge dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, special needs dogs, untrained dogs, heavy pullers, and puppies of various ages. I’m also quite strong and can handle big/rambunctious/reactive dogs with ease, so you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I can safely handle your dog. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term girlfriend for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and make sure to routinely check the integrity of the fence and that there aren’t any potential hazards in my backyard. My dog is quite the lounge-around-inside-where-it’s-cool type, so if you would want your dog to have some off leash time in my backyard, even reactive and dog aggressive dogs wouldn’t have issues because they wouldn’t be anywhere near my dog. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter (and am strictly no shoes in any house ever) and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages. All potential clients are encouraged to meet up with me before entrusting their pets to me, and if you have any interest in your dog having some off leash time with me in my backyard I would be more than happy to give you a tour. Not only those things- but any other requests you may have that can help give you peace of mind when it comes to entrusting me with your fluffy loved ones are encouraged.

About: I grew up on a farm and helped take care of a variety of animals. I've seen a lot and know how to handle an emergency if it comes up. Most of my experience is with dogs, cats and birds. I have cared for: small, medium and large dog breeds including ones labeled as "aggressive" (German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, etc). The cats I have cared for have been house and barn cats and most were American Shorthair. Other animals I have cared for: variety of doves, variety of parrots both small and large (both seed and nectar feeding), helped rehab a crow once, mini horses, llamas, sheep, goats, cows, chickens, peacocks, pheasants, iguana, snakes, rabbits, mice, hamsters, fish, eels, and frogs. Property Maintenance: I love gardens and have helped with basic maintenance tasks and harvesting. I can assist with weeding, watering, etc. I can help harvest flowers for arrangement or drying. I can also help with harvesting produce and process it for long term storage if needed. I use to be a home owner, so I can do basic home maintenance such as changing air filters, yard work, collecting mail, answering calls, etc. I have rented and traveled a fair bit too. I can also do daily cleaning, laundry, etc. Specialty Skills: Some of the dogs and cats I cared for had medication requirements that I needed to attend to and be mindful of. I have limited experience with senior animals but I do have some. Twister lived to be very old for a Jack Russel and experienced seizures later in her life. She lived on for many years still and even survived a broken pelvis from being hit by a car. I helped her rehab during that period of time too. I know how to apply flea/tick medication, and administer pill medication to dogs and cats. The birds I raised did have parasites once. I was able to identify the problem and take them to the vet for treatment. Since a lot of animals I have cared for were outside animals, I also know how to tend wounds and dress them. I have an eye for spotting issues and unusual behavior to quickly get the help the animals needs. Booked for July, August and first week of September. Any behavior issues or sensitivities or fears would be great to know as well. Knowing this will help me keep your pets on routine, calm and happy.

About: Since being on my own, I have had some fur baby in my life. Both puppies and elders will be well loved here. We have a deep relationship with our own animals. All are fully vaccinated and attend their annual health checks. We also love on them when they ask us to, meeting their mental health needs as well. Husband is still working from home with no return to the office in sight. And we are a currently a multi-generational home. There will always be some human here to care for your furry family member. We have a huge, secure, fenced backyard and two dogs of our own. Your pup will be well exercised here and will come home exhausted (and maybe a little dirty). We also love cuddling with our fur babies, and will welcome any (reasonably sized) dogs onto our bed if that is where they feel comfortable, or we have room for a crate or any dog bed you want to bring. We feed our pooches 3x a day. But we find that most guests have a 2x per day routine, and will continue to hold your home routine. We also give oral medication to one of our pups, once a day.

About: - I am home all day (just my dog and I). - I have a fully fenced yard, often featuring an agility course and splash pad. - I have an entire room full of dog toys and treats. - I'm more than happy to send you photos of your dogs while you're away (at your request), as I know how hard it can be to be away from your dog. - The home is large and spacious and is well set-up for any breed of dog. - I have a 4.5 year old female Aussie who I have trained and cared for since she was 8 weeks old. - I have lived with dogs my whole life. - I am experienced with dog training (from puppy to adult; tricks, behavior, and agility). - By default, dogs are allowed in all places of my home. - I have most dog suppliers: toys, treats, puppy pads, first aid kit, dog beds, etc. Your dog will receive my undivided attention, care, and play when they board with me (both indoors and outdoors). I will make sure your dogs receive sufficient activity (If they are healthy enough for it). If your dogs like to play fetch, they're especially in luck here. I have a fenced yard and a large dog-safe home for dogs of any age. I will only crate your dog if you request it.
