About: I do work a full time job August-May as a cafeteria manager at a school, so please check my calendar for availability. :) I have hands-on experience with puppies, seniors, and reactive dogs. I approach every animal with patience, calm energy, and genuine love. I have two rescues: Athena, an 8-year-old beagle, and Ford, an 8-year-old black lab/German shepherd mix. My daily routine already revolves around playtime, and snuggles so adding more furry friends to the mix is second nature to me. I always aim to keep pets in a stress free and familiar environment, whether that’s in your home or out on a walk. I follow your care instructions and give regular updates so you feel connected while you’re away. I do not offer boarding at this time due to my own dog’s needs, but I’m committed to safe, thoughtful care in your home!

About: I've been around pets my whole life and love caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Whether it's a high-energy dog who needs long walks or a sweet senior who just wants gentle care, I'm here for it. I'm trusted by friends and neighbors to feed, walk, and give meds when needed—and, of course, provide plenty of love and attention. Every pet I care for is treated like family! I’m flexible with my schedule and can always work something out to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s early mornings or late evenings, I’m happy to adjust and ensure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve. I will always respect my clients' homes and ensure the pet and owner feel comfortable and happy. I prioritize safety and ensure that pets feel at ease by following their routines as closely as possible and offering plenty of love and attention. I'm always available to discuss specific needs or concerns to ensure a positive experience for everyone!

About: I’ve taken dog training courses over the years. I did dog rescue; I had sick dogs, litters of puppies and dogs of all sizes in my home while raising my children and my dogs. I've done house sitting, walking, training for dogs and cats for years when I lived in California. I'm excited to meet you and your pets. I am comfortable with but not limited too walking, training, medication administration and always the addition of cuddles and love. I work for myself and work my own hours so I can always work around your schedule. I love the outdoors, nature and getting my steps in. When your pet is in my house, they'll be treated as a family member. If you prefer to crate your pet I can do that or create my dog. Pet safety is top priority at all times.

“Carole was friendly, timely, caring, & took nice pictures. We were very pleased with her communication and service — would not hesitate to book again. Thanks!”

About: I’ve had a Basset hound and a Weimaraner over 15 years. I’ve owned 4 extremely well behaved, adjusted, and playful cats for over 20 years. I have open availability to take care of your fur baby while you’re away. Im active and have love playing fetch with dogs, and going on walks. I love cats - they’re so curiously entertaining! I can bathe your dogs, play an excellent round of fetch, give them lots of love an attention while I’m visiting. Cats: play toys, scratchpads, shoestrings, balls w bells, and brushing, when they prefer. I’ve got lots of dog toys- balls, chew bones, frisbees squeaky toys. I gave away my dog harnesses, but still have my retractable leash. If they like going out on the town, I love going to pet smart to just look around and pick out a toy. They have pup cups at Pelicans- if their sugar is under control, and then go to dog park, or just playing and keeping him company in the home. I’m very good at attending to both dogs & cats. I do not spank ( with my hand or an object, like a newspaper) or hit animals, nor use a water sprayer to punish animals if they’ve done something wrong. I use redirection and a stern tone and shake my finger at them. They usually respond well to that. Then when I see them doing the right thing I reward them with enthusiastic positive talk. For bigger issues, I always have treats in my pocket, using instant gratification to regain their attention.

“Emily was such a great help! We needed someone to walk our dog while we were away for a wedding and our pup Lou was happy and healthy when we returned. This was our first time working with Emily, but she coordinated a meet and greet earlier in the week to meet us and get the details for taking care of Lou. We will definitely use Emily again in the future!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. I am confident and comfortable with all ages and temperaments. Growing up, I cared for multiple pets at once (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.) I also spent time helping out on farms. Therefore, I am no stranger to routine, responsibility or muddy paws! What truly sets me apart is that my mom is a veterinarian, which gives me 24/7 access to expert guidance if an emergency or health question/concern arises. In addition, during my Marine Corps service, I have done dog sitting at the U.S. Embassy in Botswana, where dependability was key. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in cybersecurity. Therefore, I am currently dedicating my time to my studies, which affords me the freedom to care for your pets anytime. Pet safety is my top priority. Whether I am watching your pets in your home or caring for them in mine, I keep all harmful foods and household items out of reach. Additionally, we only use veterinarian-approved treats and toys (with a vet in the family, I don't guess when it comes to safety). Your pets will get plenty of supervised playtime and outdoor activity, along with a calm structured environment to help them feel more at home. I am very respectful in others' homes and will always follow your care instructions to the letter, including feeding, routines, and any special needs or quirks.

About: I have had a deep passion for animals my entire life. I have taken some time away from Rover for a few years while working on my career, and moved across country to be closer to family, along with starting my own. We now have settled in Rowan County, NC and I am looking to help out fellow pet parents again! I would be available to come by on any day of the week from the times of 7-11am, 1-3pm and 6-9pm. I am pretty open during the day, these are time frames that I would be available for walks, drop in visits, feedings, etc. If other / additional times are needed we can chat and probably make it work. Sara M.
“Hello there! Sara has been my best friend since Kindergarten, for over 25 years at this point. She is a kind soul, who loves animals of all kinds. We lived together for a year right after college, and at that time I got a cat. To this day my cat will come running into the room when Sara comes over and won’t leave her side until Sara goes home. Sara has a key to my house and if there’s ever an emergency where I’d need someone to take care of my baby, she’d be the one to do it. She knows her quirks, when to clean her litter box, and when the cat wants attention vs when it wants an extra nibble of food. Sara also is wonderful with dogs. I am a cat person through and through, but her dogs are so sweet and gentle, and the only ones I don’t get scared of when they want to snuggle up with me when I visit.”

Devan M.
“Devan was absolutely wonderful—accommodating every need and ensuring Koko and Diesel were well-cared for, exercised, and loved. Her consistent communication throughout the day eased any concerns, and she truly went above and beyond. We highly recommend her and look forward to using her services again.”

Debbie A.
“I have known Debbie for over 15 years. She’s always gone above for her pets and has loved them and given them great lives. Animals are near to her heart. She has watched cats and dogs for me and I’ve always been happy with her!”

Carole R.

“Carole was friendly, timely, caring, & took nice pictures. We were very pleased with her communication and service — would not hesitate to book again. Thanks!”

Sofia F.
“Sofia is amazing with animals! I have seen a lot of interactions with dogs and cats in my life but Sofia has a way with animals that cannot be explained. It is almost as if animals know her even though it is the first time they will have met. She is able to make relationships with dogs and cats almost instantly as they immediately develop trust in her. I would leave my pets in Sofia's hands at any time as I know they will be cared for to a level that not even I can provide. Sofia is undoubtedly the most gifted animal caregiver that I have ever met.”
