About: Since I was little I've had at least one dog by my side in life. Even with my best friend(s) at home, I've always loved pet sitting and walking to explore all of the amazing and beautiful personalities among all of the animals of the world.. but especially dogs. Dogs have some sort of special companionship quality that is sometimes human-like (and occassionally even more genuine) that I just can't get enough of. The connection between dogs (especially my amazing babies that I've been lucky enough to have found) is one of my absolute favorite and magical things that I've ever encountered in life and to meet more dogs and get to know them is always a lovely moment and goal for me. I find that although we as people train and take care of dogs, they do the same and sometimes moreso for us and teach us more about ourselves and the world than some realize! I also have a cat and have recently been living with two others, so my experience isn't limited to dogs! I love cuddling up with a cat, or playing with string toys and getting some of that feisty energy out. Cats are so wise and their personalities robust; I love learning their little behaviors over time and experiencing all that they are. I work from home so am available to come over during the day, or stay overnight and hangout during the day! My hours are also very flexible so if your pet has a specific schedule, I’ll base my days around that! I can accommodate to whatever special instructions and care that your pet needs! I appreciate a note with any specific notes about your pet like if they try to run out of the door when you open it, or if they wait behind it (I don't want to smush them with the door and know this is a common thing for pets to do!), etc. Whatever it is, I'm sure that I'll be able to help keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. Working from home is also a plus for overnight stays because I can be around all the time to hangout with your pet and provide anything that they may need! I love pet kisses as demonstrated in my photos, but if your pet would not appreciate them or cuddles (or wants extra of both!) I can accommodate either way to make sure they’re happy.

About: As a recent college graduate working remotely from home, I’m looking for a dog fix while also helping those who need a break! I’ve grown up with a Chocolate Lab and a Rat Terrier which gave me various experience with little dogs and big dogs. Unfortunately they are not with us anymore which made me want to pick this up on the side! Remote every week day, except Wednesdays. Will be able to give care at any point in day/night except for my 30 minute meetings 3x per week. I have a big room in my office where the dog can play while I work, they will never be alone. The room has lots of natural sunlight and leads into a big backyard!

“It was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Laurel showed up as scheduled which was twice on the same day and was great at responding to my messages! I would definitely use her again.”

“Kathleen has a genuine love for dogs. She came over to meet my dog before the date she was to care for him. My dog bonded with her right. She sent me texts and photos throughout the day. She did a great job! I’ve booked her for a future date. I know my dog is in great hands with Kathleen!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have cared for them! I have a senior dog who lives with my family and we take frequent potty breaks when I am watching her. I have the summer off so I am flexible until around fall time :) During fall I will have to cut my time down a little My doodle Bailey and I love going on our daily walks around the neighborhood or town! Bailey loves to be involved so I take her camping and hiking as well! She gets treats when she is on her best behavior (which is always).

About: I have owned dogs for my entire life, and have experience training puppies and caring for elderly dogs. I have also babysat or made house visits for other dogs frequently. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. I would be able to do morning house visits or walks (ending at 11am) on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I will be available any time on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, granted I have a weeks notice. I am willing to adapt to any caretaking rules you may have in place for your dog at your own home (i.e. the rooms they are allowed in, outside time, etc). I can stay with the dog for as long as you need me to as long as there is communication.

About: Not only have I taken care of animals for the past 2 years as a job, I’ve also been taking care of my family’s pets since I was 10. I have experience with many different animals including dogs, rescue dogs, cats, and bunnies. No job is too big or small! I will make sure your pet gets the love and care that it needs. I’m currently working part-time so I’m available in the early morning between 6am and 10am. I get out of work at 4pm which gives me plenty of time for walks, house visits, and over night stays. I always listen to the home owners instructions on how to care for their pet! I can easily take dogs out for a walk in your neighborhood, let them out if you have a fenced in yard, crate them if necessary, feed them, give them water, play with them, and care for them. I have pets of my own at home so I’m no stranger to the care that goes into making sure your pet is happy.

About: I grew up in a household that bred German Shorthaired Pointers. I have experience with dogs from birth to senior & sick care. I have a goofball Goldador who is 2.6 and a Yorkie mix who is 10. Allow me to care for (and spoil) your pet! I love the outdoors for those who like a good hike or game of fetch! I am currently only working with animals, with the occasional housesitting as well. I have total flexibility with my schedule to play with your pets! I have invisible fencing on my property with lots of room to run and play! I also live in a quiet cul-de-sac! I can crate at a parent’s request. The most important thing to me is that I follow your recommendations for routine/care.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs from golden retrievers to hound/lab mixes, so I have experience with different dog personalities and energy levels. In the past few years, I’ve gotten more experience pet sitting for friends including both dogs and cats and have really enjoyed it. I’m on summer break from medical school, so my schedule is fairly flexible which means I am able to cater to a variety of schedules that work best for your pet. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable while you are away. I’m attentive to details and instructions you provide for any specific needs your pet has.

About: I worked as a Kennel/Daycare assistant for one year before moving on to become a Vet Tech of a year and an half and counting at a local small animal hospital. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and was previously Fear Free Certified. I am also a honors graduate from a 4-year veterinary technician program at a technical highschool. I work full time 4 days a week, but am available all day on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays. I am available all other days after 6:30 PM. I have grown up with animals my entire life in all shapes and sizes. This has taught me how to handle both excited, strong dogs and anxious, reserved ones!

About: As the youngest of six children, I have been the built in babysitter and petsitter for most of my life. From a Toy Aussie to a Cane Corso; I have dealt with special breeds, special needs and making sure medicine goes down with that special treat. One of my sisters manages a pretty well known rescue league, so I have seen my fair share of variety in lovable pets and I have a pretty high maintenance puppy of my own. She is a guarded breed that I rescued from an undeserving person and we work hard every day learning how to be a dog and training to use appropriate behaviors everywhere we go. Before I found her she was very much so neglected and abused and she was only 4 months old. Now she’s spoiled and in charge at my house wooooof 🥰 I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am almost always available. Emergencies happen, plans change last minute; short notice and prompt services are important. I have a beautiful pit bull puppy that I rescued from an undeserving individual where she was very much so abused and neglected. She didnt even know how to be a dog when I found her because she was trapped in a staircase or left outside in freezing temperatures being exposed to hypothermia when she was under four months old. We work very hard on learning appropriate behaviors and being the kind, gentle and loving girl that she is today. She is very much so loved and spoiled with toys, treats and attention now. Her name is Roxie

“Barry was great. This was his first visit with our yorkiepoo, Charlie. Their first walk together was a hit. We have already scheduled the next visit.”

Sloane S.
“If I had to describe Sloane with 3 adjectives I would use: responsible, loving and gentle. All that she does, she does with care, always consciously being as gentle as possible, specially around people and pets. Her experience around pets has given her a broad skill set to know how to deal with basically any situation that involves pets. 10/10”

Thomas S.
“Tommy is a caring young man who loves animals. He has experience caring for multiple dogs of his own and is very responsible and conscientious. He would make an excellent pet caregiver!”

Paige G.
“I have known Paige for 20+ years and she has always had pets. She is extremely respectful of animals and knowledgeable of their behavior. She currently has a dog, that is the best behaved dog I know. Paige has put a lot of work into training and maintaining good training for her dog to be a well rounded loving dog. I would trust her with any of my pets. Alyssa V”

Ella K.
“Ella is an effective communicator, timely and kind to both my dogs. It’s evident that she wants to be there with the. , and she isn’t afraid to go the extra mile. I would HIGHLY recommend Ella for pet services .”

Laura F.
“Laura is extremely caring and compassionate when it comes to animal care. I have personally seen her go above and beyond for animals, all sizes and breeds. Knowing her she has also grown up with multiple different animal breeds and loved each of them the same. I highly recommend hiring Laura to care for your beloved pets. She will truly keep them safe and healthy under her care.”

Nicole M.

“Awesome job!!! Stayed in contact while we were away for the weekend. Pups were happy came home to no mess or anything. Recommend for sure.”

Megan M.
“We've had many dog sitters for our dog, Eleanor, but Megan has without a doubt been the best. Eleanor is a rather shy dog with quite a few (lovable) quirks and Megan handles her exceptionally well. Megan consistently entertains her, gives frequent updates, and we've never had any issues on her watch. Megan truly cares for animals and is extremely attentive to their wellbeing. I can confidently say she'd be an excellent pet sitter for Rover.”

Camryn V.
“Cami is a wonderful person who has always had a passion for dogs. In addition to caring for the three in her house (who are all amazing dogs), I trust her enough to pet sit for my dog, Cooper, later this summer when I go away to Aruba with my family. She also works as a Vet assistant, where she is very acclimated to the canine world. Overall, there's no one that I believe could be any better with dogs than her.”

Amanda B.

“Amanda was available last minute and super communicative about our pup’s visits. She did a great job.”

Amanda S.

“Amanda did a great job of taking care of my dog! She was very good at communicating and always let me know what time she would be there!”

Victoria L.
“Victoria and I hit it off immediately because we almost have the same name and our styles of pet care matched just as well. She has cared for my dog once a week for the past few years and I don’t know where we would be without her! She has helped with everything from behavioral issues to every day exercise. She’s practically part of the family now and my dog cannot wait to see her every week. It makes being away from him so much easier knowing that he is in such great hands. Shes also been available to us short notice and for emergencies. She never fails to show up when we need her and are do grateful for that. Thanks Vic!”

Maddie B.

“We’ve worked with Maddie twice now and couldn’t be happier! She’s prompt, professional, and goes the extra mile to ensure our pupper is exercised and comfortable.”

Austin D.
“Austin has grown up with dogs his entire life… Being the oldest of eight boys he’s taken on a lot of responsibility and one of them was always to care for our dogs… He was responsible for feeding them and walking them multiple times a day… Sometimes when we needed to travel with some of the other boys he would stay back to take care of the dogs While we were gone for an extended period of time… He has always been able to connect with pets because he has such a great soul… His inner peace works well with animals… He is very responsible and therefore was able to get accepted to Bryant University as a Division I athlete and has maintained an excellent GPA all four years to maintain his athletic and merit scholarships… I can’t think of a more mature and responsible individual to work with dogs and their families in the near future.”

Madeline was a lifesaver during my recent work trip! She walked our energetic golden retriever daily and handled her with such care and confidence. She was incredibly reliable and always sent thoughtful updates after each walk, which gave my family real peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier with her help and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Daniel did an amazing job walking and taking care of our pups while we were in Woods Hole for our son’s wedding. We loved getting the pictures from him while we were out and about during the day. It made our trip worry free and the pups were happy when we got home each day.
