About: My husband Bill and I currently have two senior dogs, requiring special needs. We have boarded dogs and puppies teaching them the use of my doggie door outside. We reinforce some basic commands, such as sit, stay and come. We are retired so we have plenty of time to walk/visit or sit and play with your furry family members. Our schedule is very flexible. We currently do boarding in our home, we also provide pet sitting in your home, which consist of three or more visits per day. We will visit sit with, cuddle with, play ball, or walk the dogs as you would.

About: In my family, we’ve had dogs of our own since I was a kid. I have helped walk, feed and bathe the pets of family members and friends for 7+ years now. I love animals and would love to care for your animals! Currently I work a fully remote job as an attorney, which offers flexibility to work for home and care for your pets. I am available 7 days a week for short and long-term jobs with the ability to stop by frequently for walks and potty breaks. I enjoy the outdoors and walking dogs in the quiet pet friendly neighborhood park behind my house. I’m capable of walking dogs on a leash and am careful about how I do so. About: My life has included dogs for as long I can remember and I have always seemed to read them intuitively, including “problem dogs” that others have difficulty interacting with. I have extensive personal dog handling and grooming experience over the past 25 years and have owned up to 6 dogs at a time. I currently have a 10 year old Chihuahua-mix named Kitty but I have experience training and caring for Border Collies, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Poodle mixes, Great Danes, and a Wolf-German Shepherd hybrid. I am knowledgeable about canine body language and how to remain calm around anxious/fearful/aggressive dogs as well as how to redirect dogs from potential conflicts. I own and operate an event-services business which runs primarily on the weekends, allowing me to offer dog care Monday through Friday and on certain weekends as available. I am able to care for dogs according to their owner’s needs and requests. This may include administering medication, changing diapers, feeding, walking or just spending time with.

About: I am new to Rover but have been working professionally as a part-time dog walker and pet sitter (cats and dogs) for a top-rate company for the last year and a half. I love it! Additionally, I am the proud owner of two German shepherds and have had shepherds continuously since 2007, including a retired police dog. Our current shepherds, Fritz and Petra, train in obedience, tracking and protection. While I do not offer dog training, you might be interested to know that my own dog is trained daily. I am familiar with English, German, and hand signal commands. Cats: I was brought up with Siamese cats and had a series of Siamese until recently. I also care for cats as a pet sitter. I am well versed in cats’ needs. I work part-time three days per week and have a pretty flexible schedule. This allows me plenty of time to take care of your pet. I currently do not offer care in my home, but I am happy to care for your pet(s) on their home turf following your guidelines. Think of me as your surrogate. I focus on safety first. Depending on your needs and requests, I offer on-leash walks in the neighborhood, indoor or outdoor off-leash play (at your fenced in yard with your toys) in all weather, feed your pet, refresh water bowls, scoop litter boxes, and provide relief opportunities. An overnight service includes dinner preparation, exercise, play and TLC.

About: I have been a dog owner of all different breeds since childhood. I'm also a dog walker for the local community and enjoy every minute of it. I look forward to making some new furry friends and will treat them like my own. Please share as many details as you can about your pup, so I can care for them well. Thank you for your interest. I work for myself, so have plenty of time for pup care. Although I cannot accommodate pups at my home, I can take them to the beach and trails down the road from my home. I can also travel with them easily to anywhere preferred. I currently do not have the ability to house pups. For now my availability is strictly coming to the home for walks or pet sitting.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 11 years old. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets while away. I have experience raising 3 Brittanys throughout my life as well as 1 pig. I have administered medications to multiple pets throughout my time pet sitting. About: I went to Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School in Massachusetts in the Veterinary Sciences shop. I now go to the University of New Hampshire and I’m studying Veterinary Technology. I have worked at a doggy daycare and I currently work at a canine physical therapy facility. I love all animals. I know how to give medications, understand body language, and I know canine cpr. I go to UNH to become a vet tech. I have two dogs of my own. I work with dogs at school and at home when I am doing physical therapy work. I also love cats and understand their basic body language. I have done dog sitting before and I keep their house very clean and make sure the dog is comfortable while I’m there. In my own home I’m always sure that my dogs have everything they need and they’re always happy!

About: I have only watched dogs a couple of times. I had a dog growing up, but mainly cats. I am definitely more of a cat lover, but I’m trying to give dogs a chance! I have a retail job that has a sporadic schedule. I am just looking for a side gig for every now and then. To get exercise and be outside in the summer is a bonus :) I have a fenced yard and a furry friend to have fun with! I have a big open space and lots of comfy places to sleep. About: Hello! My name is Sammie and I’m a recently retired college athlete and nursing student at UML. I’ve had three dogs in my lifetime so far with many more to come. I am 21 years old and a New Graduate Nurse. Im also a huge animal lover and obsessed with every furry friend. I had two beagles growing up… and now I have a six year-old sassy, husky named Skye… we rescued Skye a little over four years ago when she was 1 year old. She lives with my mom and I. We take her on three walks a day, short car rides, dog park trips, and we give her plenty of playtime. She has a few different husky friends in the neighborhood. Although she’s a little crazy, she’s my best friend. I attended Umass Lowell, where I played Division I women’s lacrosse. I’m excited to get started helping other families with fur babies. Every morning and every evening I walk my husky. We play with her throughout the day depending on who is around in the family. She gets weekly dog park trips as well and hangs out with her friends in the neighborhood. Plenty of playtime, cuddles and walks. I know my dog loves to take long walks in the neighborhood, play fetch with her ball and snuggle on the couch when she’s tired.
