About: I owned/raised dogs and cats from puppy and kitten ages and miss caring for/playing with them. My husband is allergic so we can’t have our own. My main job has a flexible schedule because I work from home. I’m looking for additional income to supplement this and also miss having pets. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting regularly for the past four years for three wonderful families! I have experience from energetic labs to mellow mixed-breeds dogs and cats! I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, administering basic routines, and giving lots of love and attention! As someone who loves being outdoors, I enjoy long walks and making sure dogs get plenty of movement and adventure. I know every pet has a unique personality, and I strive to get to know their quirks to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos (as much or as little as you prefer) so you can have peace of mind but also know your pet is in good hands. 😇 I'm currently working as a server, so my schedule can be very flexible and I can typically request time off to make time for your pets! I can care for your pet in your home! I feel this is most comfortable for pets as opposed to getting to know a new person and environment simultaneously.

About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I have a background in psychology, and I’m a dog trainer and a bit of a behaviorist. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it, which I started in August 2025. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. I am delicate and meticulous and believe in leaving no trace that I was there. I want my client after their time away from home and their animals to not be met with the mess that I could be leaving behind. I am committed to performing an act of cleaning based on the tools available.
