“She was right on time, enthusiastic, and truly cared for our babies. They can be difficult on walks and she handled them like a pro! The dogs loved her and we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Patricia is wonderful. She is flexible with scheduling, fast work her responses and gives good updates on my pup. She's is great with large dogs and wasn't deterred by my greyhound’s squirrel drive.”

“Jade was wonderful! She was communicative, always on time, and flexible with our change of plans. She followed all the instructions/requests we had, and even took notes at our meet & greet to ensure that she didn’t forget anything. I definitely appreciated that. Our dog is very nervous around strangers, but he loved Jade and did great with her! She even left us some homemade treats for him, which he devoured! ! I highly recommend Jade & will be using her again in the future.”
“JaNiya was amazing with my dog, Goose! I can always tell if he’s been well taken care of by how calm he is when I return from work. She even gave some love to my cat, too!”

“Jordan did a great job covering daily walks for me with my little Havanese. Emmy is very spoiled but Jordan had her behaving so well on their walks. Would definitely call on Jordan next time I travel.”

“Danielle was amazing with my pup Sage. I just moved to the Philly area a few days ago and needed some very last minute help taking care of my pup - Danielle was very quick to help out and she left me one of the most thorough and detailed report cards for Sage after her walk/visit. I will definitely be asking her to help out with Sage again (as long as my pup doesn’t scare her off :) ).”

About: I have 16 years of experience caring for pets, whether it be my own personal pets, pet sitting for others pets and working in vet clinics- Most recently in an Er vet clinic! Before I became a stay at home mom I managed the front desk of an ER vet and helping triage serious to non serious visits. I also have roughly about 1 year of vet tech experience as well! I am currently a stay at home mom so I am able to help care for your furry family members any time of the day! At this time, home visits are what I offer due to having an infant! I will be there to feed, walk, play and care for your fur baby and give companionship and a sense of comfort while you are away in your pets safe space!

“Joslynne was great and very attentive to our dogs. My Boston doesn't deal well with the heat and Josylnne made sure to cut the walk short in order for her to not overheat. She also offered to clean up a plant that had fallen in the house. Very sweet! We will use again!”
“Susan has house/dog sat for us and has come and done walks for us. She has always been prop and easy to get in touch with. Leave lots of photos and we appreciate all the attention she gives to our pup! Would highly recommend her to friends!”

“Kristin was fantastic! She went above and beyond to make sure my pup was well taken care of. I loved all of her photos and updates and how thoughtful she was throughout the process. Would definitely recommend her to take care of your fur babies! Thank you so much, Kristin!”

About: I’ve been rescuing animals since I could talk: dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, lizards, turtles, anything with a pulse lol. I am a veterinary social worker with a passion in the animal human bond. I have recently started training to be a dog trainer. I have experience working with high energy dog breeds, puppies, kittens, and senior animals. Many of the skills that I use as a therapist are transferable to training and bonding with animals. It’s so exciting to connect the information I know about humans with working with animals. I work full time as a therapist and am gone for about 3-4 hours at a time. After 3-4 hours I come home to check on all animals. Weekends I am completely open. The day typically starts around 8am in my household and schedule may vary depending on the needs of the animals in my home. I have a fenced in yard and designated dog room for crating animals while I am away. It is important to me that your animals safety is top priority, so when unsupervised they will be crated in a room designed for their comfort. I have 2 friendly pups who have been through professional training & one cat who minds his own business. I have the ability to separate your animals from other animals if needed. I can accommodate various needs.
“Skylar has been a great blessing to us providing care to Honey and Lady. Easy to talk to and discuss caring plan. Lovely with pets and my dogs love her. Can't get any better in my opinion.”

About: I have taken care of friends and family’s pets since I was about 15 years old! I’m the first person that family and friends reach out to when they plan a trip and need help with pets. I’m currently working as a 3rd grade teacher, so Monday-Friday I am working from 7am-4pm and my weekends are typically pretty open! I try to keep my calendar updated and much as possible as well. In your home, I am comfortable caring for your pet however you need. I will follow their regular schedule so that the pets feel as comfortable with me as possible!
About: I grew up on an acreage surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, chickens, bees, and just about everything in between! Caring for animals has been a normal part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m a young adult who loves people, animals, and adventure. Outside of pet sitting, I work in EMS, have served as a pastor, and am pursuing work in humanitarian aid. Those experiences have taught me to be dependable, compassionate, attentive, and calm when unexpected things happen. I’m also very active and love being outdoors, so if your dog wants long walks, playtime, or an adventure buddy, I’m all in. And if your pet would rather curl up on the couch and have some company, I’m pretty great at that too! Most importantly, I understand that you’re trusting me with a member of your family. I’ll care for your pets (and your home!) with the same kindness and attention I’d want someone to give my own. My schedule is flexible, which makes pet sitting a great fit for me! I work in EMS and have several days off a week. I’m careful to accept bookings where I know I can give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s animals. I’m active and outdoorsy, so walks, playtime, and adventures fit naturally into my day—but I’m just as happy hanging out at home and keeping your pet company. When I accept a booking, I’ll make sure your pet’s routine works well with my schedule so they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away. I provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets can stay comfortable in the environment and routine they already know. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications or special routines I’m comfortable providing, playtime, and of course plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of both your pets and your home and will make sure everything is kept clean, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and in good hands. Every animal is different, so I’m always happy to learn their quirks, favorite activities, routines, and boundaries and adjust my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest.

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and truly believe every pet deserves to be treated like family. When your dog is in my care, I’ll treat them like one of my own while doing my best to maintain the routine they’re familiar with so they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m comfortable caring for small and medium-sized dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. Whether your pup enjoys walks, playtime, lots of cuddles, or simply having someone nearby to give them attention and companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll pay close attention to your instructions, feeding schedule, routines, and preferences. I’m also comfortable administering medications in pill form when needed. My goal is for you to have peace of mind while you’re away and for your pup to receive plenty of love, attention, and care until you’re back. 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, feeding times, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and plenty of attention. I understand that every dog has their own routine, so I do my best to follow the schedule they’re accustomed to and make their time with me feel as comfortable and normal as possible. Whether it’s boarding, day care, a walk, or a drop-in visit, I’ll make sure your dog receives the time, care, and attention they deserve. ❤️🐾 Safety, comfort, and trust are very important to me. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I will treat them like one of my own. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and their normal daily routine. I take time to learn each dog’s personality and needs so they can feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and companionship, while always keeping a close eye on their well-being. I also believe in good communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for with love and attention. 🐾❤️

Well mannered pets will have full access to the house unless otherwise instructed by pet parents. I have crates available for pets that require. Leslie was an amazing pet sitter. She took excellent care of my dog as well as my friends dog who can be extremely anxious. Leslie went out of her way to make sure he felt comfortable with treats and patience. She was flexible with time changes and even came through when I had a blunder of my own and didn’t provide accurate information (sorry again Leslie!). I would recommend her to anyone as she is attentive, kind, understanding, and most importantly excellent with dogs. I will certainly be using Leslie for all of my future dog sitting/walking needs. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
