“Lacey and Jeremy were absolutely fantastic with our pups! We have an older dog and a young puppy, both of whom need to have frequent potty breaks. This was no problem for them. They were so welcoming and loving with our guys. Lacey carefully listened to all our concerns and directions about the dogs but I didn’t need to worry because everything went so well. They had a long stay and had such a wonderful time that I wasn’t sure they would want to come home. Lacey communicated with us regularly and sent adorable pictures. We were surprised and delighted that both dogs were given baths and looked and smelled great when we picked them up. Lacey and Jeremy definitely exceeded our expectations.”

About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.

About: I have lots of experience working with animals, including time working at an animal hospital during high school, where I learned to care for pets of all kinds. I’m familiar with administering medications and meeting the unique needs of different animals. About: I have worked as a vet assistant and groomer. Pets have been a part of the family for my whole life, everything from bearded dragons and guinea pigs to a wonderful St. Bernard. I might actually be part cat. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Every morning I give the insistent critters their breakfast and some play time before letting the dogs out. Play and cuddle time happens all day. There is a big basket of toys for both dogs and cats in the living room and jars of treats are scattered around the house. Our yard isn't fenced yet, but there is a runner and the yard is surrounded by woods. We're also on a dead end road, so there's no traffic. The cats have litter boxes in the basement, with a cat door for access. That gives them a bit of privacy, the dogs aren't allowed down there. The cats also have a water fountain and food bowls high enough that the dogs can't reach.

We were particularly impressed by the way she introduced the other dogs in her care to Cody -- incrementally, to not overwhelm our little girl and also to get a read for who would get along best so she could manage everyone socially. “Jessica and her husband are fantastic. We have a puppy and they took her in immediately like she was their own. They were accommodating in our situation, as we were staying somewhere close to them that wouldn't allow our pup to stay at the house. We were able to still see her during the day to play. Their Dog Ivy is a sweetheart with alot of energy. You can tell their Dog is well loved. She sent updates and responded quickly when I inquired. We will definitely stay with them again.”
