“Alex was awesome and helped me get the pups out at my work while I had a day in the field. One of my pups needs medication, and he had no problem helping with that as well! Super appreciated his kindness!”

“Nikohl took care of Rosie, our young rescue cat over two long weekends this summer and I can't recommend her highly enough! Nikohl stopped by every day to feed and play with Rosie. She sent us updates and pictures and took the time to interact and bond with Rosie -- not easy to do in a short space of time with a cat! We will definitely be calling Nikohl when we're out of town next!”

“It was a joy to have Anjelica watch our cat! She sent detailed updates and lots of photos, which helps ease any worries I have when I’m away. It was clear our cat was not only taken care of but also adored while we were away. I highly recommend her!”

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

About: I have taken care of dogs for family friends since I was in high school. I was responsible for walking, feeding and playing with them. There was one family I worked for when I was in college who fostered dogs so while they were away during the day at work I would go over for a few hours just to play and give them the TLC they needed to get better. I just moved to Vail for a job. I typically work during the week M-F 8am-6pm with weekends off. I do on occasion have to work a few weekends but will have that indicated on my availability. I will treat clients belongings with respect and give their dog tender loving care doing the specific task I’m assigned like walking or feeding them.

About: I love animals and thoroughly enjoy spending time, walking, and caring for animals. I have had dogs since I was a child and have a lot of experience with a lot different of dog personalities. I currently work a great schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off so on the days I have off I can take your dogs for walks, check on them, feed them and provide them with excellent care! I live in an apartment but have access to trails right out my door. I am a very compassionate, clean, and friendly woman who will take care of your pet and will always do my best to meet you and your animals needs.

About: I am a massage therapist with a very flexible schedule. Needless to say your pups will get lots of rubs! I live about five minutes from Vail Village and am a perfect candidate to help out while you're out enjoying the beauty this lovely town has to offer. Up until this point my experience with dog sitting has been for friends and family. I also walk my managers dog daily during winter (she's not a fan of the snow) I am flexible and easy to work with. More than happy to work with other animals as well as plant watering. I am so excited to meet you and your pups! I work part time as a massage therapist from 2-7 amd 5-8 leaving plenty of time for your doggos and I to explore and enjoy the outdoors. I prefer to have a chat or meet up if possible prior to boarding or house sitting to get to know you, your pets and what is important to you both. Every doggo is different some like long walks while others just want to play. I like to be maliable to their specific needs as well as your requests.

“Marin was amazing with my cat Poe! This was my first time leaving him alone and I was worried about him, but she left very detailed notes about each visit and made sure to send me pictures along the way which made me feel so much better! He usually is a bit skittish with new people, but he seemed to get comfortable with her very quickly. Will definitely book with her again :)”

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for providing exceptional pet care. While I don't currently own any pets, I find immense satisfaction in taking care of and spending time with other people's beloved animals. My last three pets were all giant breed dogs, and I hold cherished memories of each of them close to my heart. I have a special affinity for giant breed dogs, but my experience extends to dogs of all sizes and ages. Each pet is unique, and I understand the importance of tailored care to meet individual needs. Whether your furry friend requires a leisurely stroll, a big hike, or just some quality playtime, I'm here to ensure they stay exercised, safe, and happy. I understand that every pet is unique, and I tailor my services to meet your dog's specific needs. Your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities. The great outdoors has always been my playground, and I can't wait to share the joy of nature with your furry companion. Hikes and long walks are not just great exercise for the body but also a fantastic opportunity for your dog to use their favorite sense, smell! I believe in providing enriching experiences for your pet. I genuinely enjoy the company of dogs and am looking forward to meeting and caring for yours! Feel free to reach out, and let's discuss how I can provide the best care for your pet. I'm currently a remote full-time student and a part-time massage therapist. My husband works nights, and when I do work, it is during the day. I am home a lot of the time studying for school. Between my husband and I, we can offer your pet frequent potty breaks and lots of walks when housesitting! Safety, trust, and creating a secure environment are paramount in my pet-sitting approach. When I enter your home to care for your pet, I prioritize their well-being and comfort above all else. Some of the ways I achieve this are: I take the time to understand your pet's unique needs, routines, and preferences. By maintaining their familiar schedule and surroundings, I minimize stress and ensure they feel secure in their own home. I understand the importance of trust in a pet-sitter relationship. I am not only experienced but also dedicated to earning your trust. I treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect, and pay attention to specific instructions you provide. I am well-versed in handling unexpected situations. I familiarize myself with the location of essential items such as any pet medications, emergency contact numbers, and veterinary information. Your pet's health and safety are my top priorities. I promise to maintain open and transparent communication with you. I provide regular updates, including photos and messages, so you can stay connected with your pet's well-being even when you're apart. Lastly, I ensure your home stays clean and tidy during my visits. I clean up after myself, and your pet, and maintain a hygienic environment to keep both your pet and your home in excellent condition.

About: Located in the heart of Vail Village. I've been taking care of dogs in the valley since I moved here in 2011. We love to be outside hiking, going for long walks, or just relaxing in the shade. I love that we live in a community where you don't have to board your pup when you go out of town, because we live in such a dog loving valley! I dog sit a few times a month usually in my home. I have experience with older dogs who need special care, medications, and help getting around. I know the anxiety that can come with leaving your dog with someone, so I always make sure to treat the dogs I watch just as I would want my own to be treated. Lots of love! I work full time in Vail, but I live 1 mile from my work. I come home often to let the dogs out or take them for walks. My husband works from home so your pup is rarely ever left alone. I have a fenced in backyard, but we usually opt for walks/hikes throughout the day. I live right on Gore Creek in the heart of Vail Village.

“I had the pleasure to meet Andrew when I was staying in CO for a month on a cross country road trip with my dog, Pants. To say she is most my precious thing is an understatement. When I was forced to look for accommodations for her, I was so lucky to find Andrew. Not only is he an incredible animal lover and dog dad himself, he is a good, kind, honest person. Made me feel completely safe to leave my girl and she instantly knew she was in good hands. He communicated with me as much as I wanted and sent me pictures and videos of him and my girl having a great time. That meant everything to me. I highly recommend Andrew in every way. Both you and your dog will have a great experience.”

“You would be lucky to have Justina watch your pet! I have a dog of my own and every time I go to see her she is always asking me to bring my dog Baxter. She takes such good care of animals and treats them as if they were her own. She gives the best love and care for them, and if you had her watching your pet you can rest assured that they are being cared for in the best ways possible. You would not have to worry one bit. Justina is such a sweet, kind, compassionate, caring person and many other positive characteristics that translate into a great pet sitter and owner one day!”
