“Thank you so much Albina!! It was very last minute and bullet had a good time. You were very communicative and the drop off and pick up was very quick. If I was in your area, she would be regular there.”

“I could tell Toffee had a great time at Summer’s place because of the way she stared at her from the car as Summer was walking back to her house. Summer is very kind and thoughtful when caring for our girl, who has big strong puppy energy. She sent a lot of update photos. We will definitely use her again. Thank you Summer!”

About: Dogs have been a constant my entire life. I've always owned or been a caretaker to them. I truly prefer their company to humans! Experience administering medications to senior dogs. I work in film and television and it has been terribly slow this year. Going to try this for the summer to see if it's a good fit. I will be home with your pooch all day most days. They'll have access to the fenced yard if I need to run to the store. I have an adorable house with two fenced outdoor areas your pooch will be free to explore. Also live in a great walking neighborhood close to some wonderful trails if your dog is into hiking. Couch potatoes welcome, too!

“Kimberley is very professional and kind. She gave us frequent updates on our dog and walked him multiple times a day. She sent many pictures. Felt very safe having our pup cared by her. Also allowed flexible drop off and pick up. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m transitioning my career (from working in the entertainment industry) into a focus on pet care after a lifetime of loving and living with dogs. For the past 30 years, dogs have been an essential part of my daily life and currently, I share my home with a sweet senior pug who gets physical therapy weekly. Their comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priority. I have much experience dealing with their different ailments. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs and cats, and I’ve found true joy in giving them the attention and affection they deserve. I've also received care from a Rover sitter for my own dog for 2 years. I know how uneasy it can be contacting a stranger. I’m detail-oriented, highly safety-conscious, and most importantly reliable and trustworthy. When your fur baby is with me, you can feel completely at ease. I’m currently welcoming just a few clients for repeated in-home daycare to ensure each dog gets plenty of love and individualized care. My home is senior-dog friendly with yoga mats and ramps/soft pet steps, a fenced-in yard, and a calm, quiet environment. I am able to provide boarding for your pup if you are going out of town. I can be interested to house sit at your home if I can bring my senior pup along. If you’re looking for a caring, dependable sitter who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to connect. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully becoming part of your dog’s extended pack! I am looking to make pet care my main focus after September. Until then all available booking dates will be indicated on my Rover calendar. My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. I’d be happy to provide a calm, cozy, and caring environment for your pup!

“Thank you to Caroline. This was my first time using Rover and she made feel comfortable and at ease leaving Noodle a 10 month old rambunctious puppy with her. She met me before the dog sit for a quick visit to make sure Noodle and her dogs got on well. And was patient while I rushed through little details and worries at our morning drop off. Would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve always cared for and loved all kinds of dogs and cats. I treat them as my own babies. I’ve been entrusted by many to walk, bathe, care for, and play with their puppies/dogs and kitties/cats. I am a full time pet sitter and dog walker. My full schedule is taking care of furbabies. I have the complete flexibility in my schedule to take on new furbabies. I also want to make sure your fur babies are as comfortable as possible. I make sure to adhere and stick to your schedule and fur babies’s preferences.

“So grateful for Therese being able to take Zoe for daycare on semi short notice, very personable with easy and quick communication. Felt very comfortable leaving Zoe with Therese Will definitely be back, thanks again!”

“Christopher was amazing with our senior pup Schotzi! He made Schotzi so comfortable from the get go and made sure to communicate and send us pictures of Schotzi to put us at ease. We will definitely be bookig Christopher again!”

“Bri was amazing. She took such good care of my Archie. She kept me updated throughout the day. I highly recommend her services. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have also taken care of all kinds of dogs, from pitbulls to chihuahuas, besides cats (I love the affectionate ones). I have housesat for friends for 2 decades just because they know how much I care about animals and I treat them like they were mine. I'm very confident to say I am trustable and very caring because animals are my biggest passion. I have a good balance between giving love and discipline and I have learned a lot about animal behavior. I work from home and whenever I have pet guests, I like to take them to the pet coffee shop nearby. I normally walk my dog 3x a day and we do play time in between work breaks. I already answered above but I have an easy going and well behaved dog and first we would need to know if they get along. I am very careful, responsible and attentive to animals.

About: I grew up in a home with a dog, a cat, birds, fish, and rabbits. Throughout my life, I’ve opened my heart to many a pooch, including a beautiful epileptic Dalmation, a feisty pocket Shih Tzu (that one of my students brought to school in a backpack), an adorably lazy Bijon-Maltese mix who came to stay for a weekend and stayed 10 years -- and most recently a spirited 13 year old Terrier mix that we brought home after his person died unexpectedly. All were loved and doted upon until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The smaller ones vacationed by car, truck, and plane and were with us 24/7. I’ve often cared for my friends' dogs and am known for giving good doggy massages. I’ve also shared my space with an African Sulcata tortoise for the last 17 years. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I own a small business that allows me to come and go easily, allowing for long walks and/or lounging around. I have a fenced yard, leashes, bowls, a medium sized dog crate if necessary, lots of healthy snacks and lots of time for walks and doggie massages. In your home, I will care for your special friend as instructed. If your pooch loves toys, we will play, if snoozing is their favorite thing, I will happily sit nearby and chill too.

“Erika was great with my pup! She was so accommodating to last minute plans & sent me soooo many photo updates during the stay. Her place was perfect for my big dog. She was great & I will definitely be booking her again.”

About: I discovered my love for dogs (relatively) later in life, when my parents adopted a sweet middle-aged mutt when I went to college! Since then, I have adored dogs and in addition to caring for my family dog on school breaks I’ve been petsitting (in my home and others’) for friends and friends of friends over the past few years. I enjoy getting to know the personality of each animal and catering to it, whether that means long walks or long cuddle sessions on the couch. I love all dogs, but due to a bad personal experience with a pit bull, I prefer to work with other breeds. I’m a freelance writer and in between jobs I am at home and available to care for your pet on whatever schedule you prefer. My only recurring conflicts are comedy shows I perform in at night but they rarely go longer than 2 hours. I live in an ADU that is a tiny home so dogs on the smaller side will be more comfortable there. I have room for a crate but sleep in a bunk bed, so if your dog prefers sleeping with a person, a dog I can comfortably lift in and out may be better (I’ve done it before with a Cavapoo). In a client’s home any size of dog is fine, I just want to know the house rules for both me and the dog to follow and if it’s a long sit check out the space beforehand.

About: As a lifelong pet lover with extensive experience, I offer a unique blend of compassion and expertise in caring for dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. Whether energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or bit of separation anxiety, I connect effortlessly with cats and dogs, including cherished seniors, tailoring my approach to meet each pet’s individual needs. I understand the importance of adhering to specific dietary requirements and maintaining familiar routines, providing personalized care that ensures your dog’s happiness and well-being while you’re away by creating a safe, fun, and stress-free environment. Whether engaging in playtime, maintaining exercise routines, or offering extra cuddles, I aim to make your pet’s experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Occasional trips back to Australia to visit family make full-time pet ownership challenging, so pet-sitting allows me to enjoy animal companionship while offering families a dependable and trusted sitter. With my diverse experience in handling various breeds and personalities, you can rest assured that your furry family members are in capable hands with me. I work from home part-time, offering a flexible schedule with plenty of time to provide consistent love and companionship to keep your pets occupied and engaged throughout their stay. Your pets safety and happiness is my utmost priority. Here’s how I cultivate a secure and loving environment for your furry companions Boarding I take great pride in providing my little furry friends with everything they need, from indoor and outdoor bowls—and collapsible bowls ready for our walks, and fresh bottled spring water always on hand. There is also an abundance of freshly laundered, plush blankets, a cozy, soft UGG indoor bed designed especially for the smaller pups and a matching plush bed for my bigger fur babies . For outdoor relaxation, there’s a 42-inch raised canopy bed that offers generous space for small and medium-sized dogs while creating a cool, shaded retreat on sunny days, and with our secure, fenced yard right off the back door, I feel at ease knowing they can safely frolic and play during their stay. House sitting: I care for your home and pets as if they were my own, creating a secure and comfortable environment in your absence. I follow their regular routine to maintain stability, from feeding and exercise to playtime and affection. I also stay attentive to home security, ensuring doors and windows are properly secured and keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings. Dog walks: Ensuring your dog’s safety and enjoyment during walks is my top priority. I ensure leashes and harnesses are properly fitted to maintain control and prevent potential injuries. By staying alert to traffic, other animals, and environmental hazards, I navigate routes that keep your dog safe and comfortable. Additionally, I monitor weather conditions to adjust the length and timing of walks, avoiding extreme temperatures that could affect your dog’s well-being. Transparent communication: I prioritize transparent communication by providing regular updates on your pets well-being, including photos, to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about their care. You can depend on me to create a safe and affectionate environment, ensuring your pets remain happy, healthy, and comfortable during your absence.

About: I’ve always loved dogs since I was a child, best animal ever hands down. I had a French bulldog growing up that I took care of exclusively so I have about 9 years of experience caring for a dog including grooming, vet visits, and everything else. I know when dogs are trying to communicate about being hungry, having to go to the bathroom, wanting to play, etc. I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new dogs and spending lots of time taking care of them in whatever ways they need to be taken care of. I hope to meet your dog and have a fun time with them. Let me know if you have any special requests or questions about my services. Thank you very much. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time during the day to care for, walk and provide company to your dog or cat! I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly dog and cat to play and keep company to your pet. There is also a park just next to my house for some outdoor activities.

“Erika was GREAT. Attentive and totally accommodating for our Christmas Day reservation for TWO dogs. She sent photos throughout the day and even introduced our dogs to other fur friends. Our pups came home exhausted and thirsty - signs of a great time! I’ll definitely be contacting Erika again if we need daycare in the future.”

“Heather is the only person we trust to care for our dogs. We have adopted two tiny, special needs rescue dogs who came from not-so-great beginnings in life. They don’t trust easily. They both instantly took to Heather. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs. She takes the time to really bond with each pup. Every time they come back from a visit with Heather, they are so happy. We’re grateful to have a person who cares for our dogs as they would their own. Heather rocks!”

Gisele L.

“My dog absolutely loves Gisele! He gets so excited whenever he sees her coming. She's a natural with animals. I suspect it's her warm and open personality that puts them so at ease - and that she loves and cares for them without being nervous about it (as I've experienced with other handlers). I'm quite confident that I could trust my dog in no better hands than Gisele's.”

Sandra M.
“I've known Sandra for about 18 years, and she's very intuitive and attentive with all kinds of people, human or otherwise. I met two of her dogs and her giant tortoise. Many times I stayed at her place and watched her care for them; I witnessed her patience and time investment particularly with the dogs at the end of their lives, walking them, taking care of their treatments, cooking their food, and always treating them as part of her family and including them in her daily routine. I've had two large dogs and if I had to entrust them to someone to care for them, I would definitely have Sandra at the very top of my list.”

Ellen L.
“Ellen is hands down the best dog sitter we've ever worked with! When we needed extended puppy care last summer, she provided exceptional pet sitting services that exceeded all our expectations. Our puppy Disco was full of energy and needed constant attention, and Ellen was absolutely amazing with puppies. She kept our girl physically and mentally stimulated throughout the day with engaging play sessions and activities - exactly what high-energy breeds require. As an experienced dog walker and pet caregiver, Ellen clearly understands different breed needs and tailors her approach accordingly. Communication is so important when you're away, and Ellen delivered outstanding pet sitting communication. She sent regular updates, photos, and messages that gave us complete peace of mind during our trip. Ellen provided overnight pet sitting at our apartment, and we came home to find our place in even better condition than when we left! She's incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and treats your home with the utmost respect. This level of reliable pet care is rare to find. Ellen is always our first call for dog sitting services, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, professional pet sitter.”

Margaret H.
“Margaret went above and beyond, making sure Bane was not only well-fed and exercised but also showered with love and attention. From belly rubs to fun outdoor adventures, he had the time of his life. We got adorable updates that reassured us he was in great hands, and honestly, I think he might have been a little disappointed to come home! If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, Margaret is the perfect sitter. Highly recommend her and can’t thank her enough.”

Nathaniel C.

Eagle Rock dog parents share their Rover experiences
Therese is the dig sitters of all dog sitters. I’ve been able to use her for the last 3 years and she has been nothing short of highly accommodating of my hectic schedule with my dog Currie. She communicates well and does a great job of taking care of all her pups. I would highly recommend!

Mary continues to impress me. Our dog Brownie just absolutely loves her. Usually he’s a bit out of sorts when we leave him for the weekend, but when we pick him up from Mary’s he’s always happy and content. We can tell she takes such great care of him. Thank you, Mary!

Liv was the first sitter I booked on Rover and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took such good care of my dog Turner during daycare. Turner has separation anxiety, and Liv immediately knew how to make her feel safe and comfortable. She kept me in the loop with updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. It’s so hard to find someone you fully trust with your dog, but Turner was in such good hands. I’m so glad we found Liv!

Thanks Chrystle for taking care of Charlie when we were in the Glendale area! It was our first time using Rover and leaving Charlie with someone else, but Chrystle made the process so easy. She was responsive and communicated well. Scheduling, drop off, and pickup were flawless. She’s a natural and Charlie was immediately at ease with her. Our interaction was brief but it was clear that she was attentive and caring. Charlie was well taken care of and had a good couple of walks and clearly had a comfortable time from the photos and with how happy he was during pickup.

We had such a great experience with Daniela! From the very beginning, she was communicative, reliable, and so kind to our dog. She treated our pup like family, sending regular updates, photos, and making sure all his needs were met—even going above and beyond with extra playtime and cuddles. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such loving and capable hands. When we returned, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Daniela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!

My dog, Duke, had a wonderful day with Bri. Not only was she was super accommodating with a last minute daycare booking, but she was also flexible with dropoff/pickup times. Duke received a full day of playtime and Bri sent me regular updates throughout. I would definitely book with her again!

My dog is from a shelter so she doesn’t take too easily to new people. This was our first time leaving her with a stranger. Brittany met us at a park beforehand for a meet and greet to help my dog feel more comfortable with her. I was very pleased that Brittany was willing to take my dog not knowing how she might be throughout the day. She kept us updated of how Zoe was doing throughout the day and took her on several walks!

Willard and Kimberly are so great with my dog, Zoe! She loves going to doggie day care at their home and loves being taken on walks around the neighborhood by them. Willard and Kimberly are both super patient and caring with Zoe who has a bit of anxiety and sometimes isn’t the best behaved :) I highly recommend them for anyone looking for calm, caring, and attentive care for your pooch!!!
