About: I provide personalized care with a focus on love and comfort. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have fostered dogs on and off for about a year now. Your pup will enjoy playtime and relaxation with my friendly dog in a safe, caring environment. I am currently a stay at home mother and own a 2 year old chocolate lab. We love to go for walks and play fetch outside in our fenced in yard. During the summer months we get the sprinkler out and let the dogs play. My kids love dogs and give them extra care and love. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, cuddles, and regular routines. I ensure each dog gets personalized attention based on their needs. I have a fully fenced in yard for lots of playtime with my 2 year old chocolate lab. During summer months we bring out baby pools to cool off and tons of playtime.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 20 years, and during that time I’ve had the joy of working with pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities—from high-energy puppies to sweet senior dogs. My experience includes everything from daily walks and playtime to administering medication, handling special diets, and providing overnight or vacation care. I’m comfortable with dogs that need a little extra patience, whether they’re shy, energetic, or still learning good leash manners. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once and understand the importance of balancing attention, safety, and fun. My approach is all about consistency, kindness, and tuning in to each dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s belly rubs, fetch marathons, or calm companionship, I make sure every dog I care for feels happy, secure, and loved—just like they would at home. I work from home so I'm available all day. Every 2 hours we go outside and after work we play outside until everyone's tired. There is also a doggie door available. I do everything I can to keep things familiar and comfortable for your pup. I follow your instructions closely—meals, meds, favorite walking routes, even the quirky stuff like which toy they have to sleep with. I make sure they get plenty of love, exercise, and attention, and I always send updates and pics so you can see how they’re doing. Dogs are treated like family. I make sure they have a cozy spot to relax, plenty of toys to keep things fun, and a safe, clean environment to explore. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible—whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles. I also keep a close eye on their health and mood to make sure they’re feeling their best.

“Jen took excellent care of my puppy! I could tell he had a lot of interaction and attention throughout the day because he was worn out when I picked him up!”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a young child. The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. I have experience training dogs and caring for puppies. I love all dogs, big, small and everything in-between! I am a stay at home Mom right now with young children. My schedule is pretty open except when I'm running around to pick a youngin' up a few times a day! I'd love to fill my extra time with helping care for your fur babies! I currently have three dogs of my own and all are big dogs. We have a nice, safe, fenced in backyard great for running around. I am willing to help your fur baby however you see best to make them and you most comfortable.

“Tara has worked out so well for my work schedule in the Spartanburg area! Blue has found another favorite sitter through Rover.com. Tara has been amazing with her responsible/professional yet loving care and communication throughout the day with me, I'm not sure Blue even wants to go home at the end of the day! I am praying that in 13 weeks if I make this job my permanent one, Tara will agree to be our permanent care giver for Blue. Hi, highly recommend Tara without any reservations.”

About: Hello! *I am currently 8 months pregnant and have a toddler at home so I am only accepting low energy dogs and senior dogs at the moment.* I have been working with pets of all kinds for 10 years. I am experienced with senior dogs, animals with special needs and administering medications of all and any kind. I have worked in a Dog Day Care and managed anywhere from 20-30 dogs (of all sizes) at a time. I am also certified in the “Knowing Dogs 101 and 201 training program” provided by The Dog Guru while I was employed at the Day Care. Along with that, I am always the go to for pet sitting for friends and family as well as fostering from the Greenville Humane society for years. My Husband and I have two Golden Retrievers and a Cat. All three of our animals are great with other dogs and cats. We have a 4 year old who loves to help Mama care for the animals. She is kind and respectful of other peoples pets and knows we must take the best care of them while we are their “babysitters”. My Husband, Tyler may help out occasionally as well and has a caring heart and willingness to help. We have a lot of space and a fenced in clean backyard. I also have a large crate with a separate quiet and warm guest room where your pet can wind down if needed. Your baby deserves the best care and will be treated like our own during their stay. I am very flexible. If I’m not at the house for any reason, I am only gone for about 3 or 4 hours at a time. Please let me know if your pet has any fears or anxieties. My goal is to make your baby as comfortable as possible while staying with us. I do not leave dogs out in the yard alone for long periods at a time. Our dogs are up to date on Flea, Tick, Heart Worm, Rabies and Bordetella. My two Dogs get very excited when they meet a new dog or dog(s) at first but they calm down within the first 10-15mins of introduction. Your pet will be very safe within my care and I keep you updated with fun photos of the days we will spend together. (Let me know if you do not want photos taken.)

“Brittany is so great with my dog Joss and he loves going to her house and playing with all of his friends. We use Brittany so much now, my dog thinks he lives there haha thanks Brittany!”

“Alyssa was Great! My Roxie is spoiled to the core but She was a happy Dog when I came to pick Her up. So Alyssa must have been Very patient with My "Brat"! Will definitely highly recommend Her and use Her service in the future. Jack & Roxie..”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My family and friends had pets but it wasn’t enough! I convinced my parents really young to get a dog and since then, I’ve taken care of and trained 3 dogs of my own. Friends and family that get pets often ask me for advice. I have a very nurturing personality and it translates well with animals, so I absolutely love them! I have experience training and basic grooming/bathing! I work remotely so I am home and available to take care of your furry friend :) I will ensure that I know your animal’s temperament/likes/dislikes in order to make both of us comfortable! I’m very attentive and know how to distract/entertain needy animals (from experience haha). I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a spike that goes into the ground that is secure and has a long leash. Other than that, I have a dog friendly neighborhood that we can take walks around!

About: Thank you so much for your interest in trusting us with your animals. We know that our animals are not just our pets, they are valued members of our family. We’d be thrilled and honored to meet you and your animal(s) to see if we are a good fit. I, Rachel have been blessed to love so many wonderful animals that I've got to call family in my life including dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters. My husband, Triston and I are failed foster parents and currently have 4 cats, two of which who we raised as feral kittens from birth. Our love for animals is why we've decided to offer pet care on Rover. After watching several friends and neighbors pets, we thought it was time to make an official account. I'm trustworthy, reliable and responsible. My clients value that I'm very attentive, responsive and always ensure to communicate clearly. My husband may join me in sitting or dog walking. He trained as a Veterinary Technician before landing as a Wildlife Biologist. He also volunteered with the SPCA for over 5 years. He has more specialized knowledge and experience giving injections, medication or love to animals who require special attention. We would love to care for your fluffy family members and ensure that they are well loved and taken care of whether it's a walk, drop in or boarding at our home. We are well versed in the needs of animals ranging from younger pets with high energy to aging pets with medical conditions. Sometimes my two year old daughter will join me, however I will always ask permission first. She is very sweet, gentle and kind to animals. She shares a love for animals just like her parents. Her favorite thing is to give hugs and gentle pets to animals who like attention. *To secure a reservation, an upfront payment is necessary. This policy ensures that your spot is reserved and guaranteed. Rover will hold onto the payment until 3-4 days after the booking is complete before sending to me. In the event that immediate payment is not feasible, it's important to be aware that the reservation may be subject to availability. Additionally, a 24 hour cancellation policy applies to all services with the exception of dog-walking and drop-in visits. I work from home with the ability to have a flexible schedule. I'm happy to meet your pet care needs whether it's early morning, afternoon or evening. My husband and I use our bonus room as our boarding room where we can care for pets in our home. It's a relatively large bedroom with carpet and a couch. This room is the dedicated pet room. We have blankets and toys for your animals, however we always encourage clients to bring toys, blankets that anything else that may smell like home and that your animal is familiar with to help with the transition. We also have a huge yard and would love to go on long walks with your dog. Whether in your home or ours, we always respect and reinforce whatever rules and training you have in place for your animals, whether it's no jumping on the furniture or anything else.

About: Hello there! I'm Razelle, your local dog walker reporting for duty! I'm here to make sure your pup gets the best care possible. I currently do remote work and have found plenty of dedicated time to do something I really enjoy on the side. As a certified Rover pro, I provide all sorts of services. From dog walking to house sitting and drop-in visits. But what sets me apart from the rest of the sitters is my passion for your dog’s well-being. I've had countless reviews on Rover and other platforms commenting that I treat their dog as my own. If you have training regimes or a set schedule, you can count on me to get it done! I also incorporate basic obedience training during our walks [if requested]. I teach simple commands like "Heel," "Look," and "Sit" to keep your pup focused and obedient, even in the face of distractions. This can be important when facing unexpected encounters! FRIENDLINESS WITH OTHERS REQUIRED: Safety is a top priority for me, as I understand that your dog's well-being is of the utmost importance to you. For this reason, I am unable to care for dogs with a history of attacking other dogs or humans. Furthermore, if your dog exhibits any aggressive behavior during a visit, I will be unable to continue caring for them in the future. This policy ensures the safety of all dogs and humans in my care and allows me to provide the best possible service to you and your furry companion. WALKING SUPPLIES? To ensure that your dog's walk is safe and enjoyable, please make sure that your pup has a well-fitted collar or harness, and that you have poop bags and a leash at the ready. While shoes are not required, I recommend them for added safety and comfort during your dog's adventure. Thank you for helping me provide the best possible care for your pup! Disclaimer: Ensuring that your dog's collar or harness is well-fitted is crucial to their safety during walks. If I determine that the collar or harness cannot be properly adjusted to fit your dog securely, I will be unable to walk your furry friend, as this increases the risk of your dog getting loose and running away. Please be mindful of the fit of your dog's collar or harness before scheduling a walk to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your pup. SCHEDULE? Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Weekends: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change according to the sunrise/sunset* --------------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ: *WILL YOU SEND UPDATES OF MY DOGS?* You betcha! At the end of every walk or stay, I'll send you a detailed report on how your furry friend fared. You can expect to see all the commands we used during our walk, the exciting experiences your pup had, and of course, plenty of adorable photos from our time together. Who knows, you might even find yourself printing out the report and hanging it up on your fridge for all to see! *I HAVE NEVER LEFT MY DOG BEFORE, WILL HE OR SHE BE OKAY?* It is natural for some dogs to experience separation anxiety when being cared for by someone new. As a professional dog walker, I do my utmost to ensure that each dog feels comfortable and at ease with plenty of interaction and attention. It is not uncommon for new surroundings to disrupt a dog's digestive system, resulting in loose stools. However, there is no cause for alarm as this is a normal reaction to a change in routine. Typically, after 1-2 visits, the dog's digestive system will adjust, and any issues will resolve. It is important to note that the level of reaction varies depending on the dog's unique personality and temperament. *WHAT IF MY DOG IS SPECIAL NEEDS?* I am able to care for nearly ALL special needs dogs! 1) Allergies: Please let me know of any beforehand! 2) Medicine: info must be written on a note alongside food, with dosage, etc. (non-medical injections such as insulin is okay. In the state of Virginia, medical/complex injections require specific qualifications/certifications, which I do not have.) 3) Diapers are okay 4) Blind or Deaf? I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. You can trust that I will provide the utmost care for your furry friend. Disclaimer: Please note that dogs can learn from their canine companions during visits. However, I cannot be held responsible for any habits that your dog may pick up from other dogs. Additionally, I cannot be held liable if your dog decides to consume unusual debris or objects during our visit. It is essential to keep a close eye on your dog and guarantee their safety at all times. *GROOMING?* Although I don't do grooming myself, I don't mind picking up and dropping your dog off at your preferred groomer/grooming salon for $10 each way. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any injuries/damages/harm the grooming salon may cause to your dog. Please make sure that this is a groomer/salon that you TRUST. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT MY DOG Meet Suki, my adorable 3 year old Blue Merle Border Collie! She's sweet as honey and loves everyone, including cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. I can't guarantee she won't lick you to death, but hey, that's just her way of saying hello! I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. But if you're not cool with it, just let me know, and I'll make sure she stays home, catching up on her favorite TV shows or something. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you want to chat about your pet concerns and their needs. Again, I am home mostly all of the day. Anything else you would want to tell me I would love to hear! Monday: 6 AM - 11 PM Tuesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Wednesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Thursday: 6 AM - 11 PM Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Saturday: 6 AM - 11 PM Sunday: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change depending on the sunrise/sunset* UNAVAILABLE DATES: August 11th, 17th, 2024 September 13th-15th, 2024 December [PENDING] As a professional pet sitter, I am willing to do some serious acrobatics to keep your home spick and span, even if your furry friend decides to have a little accident. Let me know what your preferences are, and I'll do my best to accommodate them!
