About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a young child. The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. I have experience training dogs and caring for puppies. I love all dogs, big, small and everything in-between! I am a stay at home Mom right now with young children. Typically, after 1-2 visits, the dog's digestive system will adjust, and any issues will resolve. In the state of Virginia, medical/complex injections require specific qualifications/certifications, which I do not have.) 3) Diapers are okay 4) Blind or Deaf? I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. She's sweet as honey and loves everyone, including cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. I can't guarantee she won't lick you to death, but hey, that's just her way of saying hello! I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. At one time I employed 11 veterinarian technicians as our popularity quickly grew. I retired from teaching recently and I’m now returning to my true love; caring for pets. I personally own two dogs. I adopted a standard poodle from a breeder two years ago. Sobe loves to snuggle and hike. He adores playing with other dogs. Ellie is a 13 year old Toy Poodle. She and Sobe are best buddies. I am available 7 days a week and can be flexible with times and frequency of visits. As, I have pets at home I CANNOT sleep overnight in client’s homes, but can make extra trips throughout the day and night to meet pet’s needs. Special requests will be considered. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. My grandma has 8 dogs, 6 cats, and 5 guineau pigs! I guess her children stuck with being surrounded by animals as my mom has 14 cats and 1 dog so I was always being loved on by at least one fur baby. My aunts and uncles have several animals as well and I am always the one who takes care of them and gives them love while they are on vacation. I am a stay at home mom so your baby will never be alone! I will always be at home available to give plenty of love, play, and take them out to use the restroom.
