“Peter is amazing!”

About: I am retired and have recently relocated to northern jersey. I am an avid animal lover. I have always had my own pets. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my fur baby of 13 1/2 years and am not quite ready to adopt at this time but sincerely miss having an animal in my life. I am helping to care for a dear friend’s cat and although truthfully I am more a "dog" person, I now find myself beginning to appreciate "cats”. Cats are really fascinating (and a lot different) than dogs. I believe that I am a person who you can trust with one of your most prized possessions, your "fur-babies". I love walking, so dog walking is a win win!! Drop in visits are also no problem!! Unfortunately. I am unable to offer pet sitting at this time. I love to walk and especially enjoy walking for a furry companion. Home visits for either dogs and cats are also something I enjoy doing. I am currently unavailable for pet sitting. However, I do prefer walking small or medium dogs and will give them the exercise and/or company they need.

“Jeanne is absolutely fantastic! Our cat opened right up to her from the moment they met, and we knew that we struck gold. Jeanne was very attentive to our cat’s needs the whole time we were away, and her detailed daily updates brought us such peace of mind. She even got him to like a bird toy that we thought he hated! We’re lucky to have found her, and we’re so grateful for the care she provided to our pet!”

“We had never left our cat at a sitter before so was a little worried but Lorena and her family were so great with Toby. They have a beautiful large and clean playroom for Toby to play and wander around. Lorena also knew just how to help Toby get acclimated to the new surroundings. Her family really knows how to make pets feel welcome and comfortable as well. In just a few hours, Toby was rolling around on his back wanting attention, which is a sure sign he is happy. All the while, we got sent lots of pictures, videos, and updates so never worried. I would be glad to recommend Lorena to anyone and will definitely go back as needed!”

“Lauren was wonderful with our 4 cats. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter and will be asking her to drop in daily for us again. Our oldest cat required medicine in her food which Lauren was no stranger to, as she has done that with her own animals. The most timid of our cats came out for head scratches by the end of the 5 days - a sure sign that she is gentle and knows animals. She was also able to drop in around the same time each day, which was important for the cat that needed medication and was good for the animals. They are probably less anxious with a routine visiting time. 2 thumbs up!”

“Lindsey did an awesome job! We had an incidents, but she managed everything really well. she handled each situation efficiently and with great attention to detail. I’m super happy with how she took care of my cat. Definitely recommend her if you need of reliable and capable pet sitter.”

“Andrea was very easy to work and communicate with through the whole process, and put us at ease for our first time using Rover. She sent great photos and didn’t mind the occasional love bites one of our cats tends to give.”

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats throughout my life and have always taken pride in giving them the best care possible. Over the years, my love for animals has only grown—especially for cats. As I got older, that bond became even stronger, which eventually led me to having four cats of my own, all of whom I love deeply and care for like family. What sets me apart is my genuine connection with animals and my understanding of their unique personalities and needs. Whether it's keeping a shy cat comfortable, giving a senior pet extra patience, or just making sure every little detail is handled with care, I treat every pet as if they were my own. As someone who works from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of free time throughout the day and week to focus on pet care. My remote work is structured in a way that gives me the freedom to plan around pet visits and provide consistent, attentive care. Whether it’s morning check-ins, midday playtime, or evening visits, I’m able to accommodate a variety of needs and make sure your pet gets the time, love, and attention they deserve! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can create a calm, secure environment that feels familiar and stress-free. In your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, playtime, or keeping the litter box clean and tidy. I make sure pets feel safe and cared for, and I always keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. At my home, pets have a quiet, cat-friendly space where they can relax without stress or overcrowding. I’m mindful of keeping things clean, secure, and peaceful—especially for more sensitive or shy cats. My goal is always to treat your pet (and your home) with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

“Maia takes such good care of our kitties! We feel very comfortable knowing that she is checking in on our place while she’s away. Thank you Maia!”

“Rebecca was amazing! My cat can be anxious around strangers, and I was super nervous using rover for the first time, but she was so fantastic (with both of us). I couldn’t have asked for someone better. I will definitely be going back to Rebecca anytime I need someone to drop in my cat.”

“Jenn was great. She met with me before hand to go over everything and was incredibly friendly. She kept me updated on my two cats and sent photos every single time. Love her !”

About: I have had 4 large dogs in my adult life. My last 2 (bother & sister) are now over the bridge. They were trained to the point that they never needed a leash in most situations. I took them wherever I went. We did lots of outdoors. I have property upstate in NY also. Any dog is part of my life, my family. Happiest when they're around I am currently not working after dealing with an illness. However, I'm fine, fit and active. Nothing but time for hanging with any pets. Being without my own, I look forward to sharing my days with them. I have a fenced in yard right on a park with a large pond. Dogs can come & go as they please. I have lots of time to spend with them almost every day. If I have to leave the house I would take them with me.

“Erick was great. His communication was exceptional and he really took the time to understand the layout of our house and our pets routine. His updates were very thoughtful and we appreciated the pictures he sent. Would recommend!”

“Allysa was great with our cats! Thoughtful, communicative, and thorough.”

About: I treat my dog as if he were my own biological son and I will gladly make sure your furry friends are as comfortable as possible when they’re with me. I have experience with medium to small dogs, old dogs, puppies, and cats with asthma. My love for animals goes so far back that I wrote in my Elementary school year book that my dream job was to be a Dog Walker when I grew up! I work remotely and have the ability to be more present and available for any animal needs throughout the day/week. I can also be flexible and care for them before or after my working hours. I want to keep your little ones on their usual schedule, doing things exactly how you typically do things. I will stick to any snack or food guidelines you have and will happily help with any medications or special needs required. I am very patient and understand that all dogs have different personalities just like us. My hope is that we will have some fun and get some daily exercise at the same time.
