About: I've had dogs all my life! My pup Toffee is my best friend, nothing beats coming home to someone who's always so excited to see you! I take care of friends' and family's dogs while they're away as well - both large and small. I spoil them and always want them to feel at home while their person is away. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. As a lifelong dog lover, I care for every pup as if they were my own. I just moved back home from Nashville, TN. Where I was consistently dog sitting in my apartment for the 4 1/2 years living there. Previously before that, I was doing it in my Hoboken apartment for 3 years. We do have a family dog, a border collie / blue heeler, Luna who is 11 years old. She is used to being around other dogs, as we previously had a husky lab as well before she passed away. Luna tends to keep to herself and only cares about her frisbee. For everyone’s comfort, I typically board dogs that aren’t excessive barkers. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, including blind, deaf, and diabetic dogs and also senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medication (including daily insulin injections) and even handling tasks like diaper/band changes. Many of the dogs I’ve cared for have anxiety or don’t do well around other dogs, so I’m very experienced in creating a calm and safe environment for them. A quick note: Rover takes a percentage of my earnings, and my rates are set with that in mind. Also, most people I meet through Rover end up booking with me directly afterward, so my repeat clients listed on the app aren’t an accurate reflection of my true base of returning families. As I also gain clients from other places as well. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have or provide references from repeat clients, both through Rover and privately. I love spending time outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air—especially on nice days. Pups are welcome on the bed, and I make sure they have a cozy, comfortable environment to relax in. “WOW. This is my first time with Brittany. Brittany is amazing. Brittany devoted so much time to Drew. Although Brittany has a fenced in yard, she took our dog on two walks each day. They went to the park. They had movie night together. Brittany is a rare find. When I picked my dog up, you could see how much HE enjoyed staying with Brittany—his tail was wagging, he was smiling (yes, my dog smiles) and he was licking Brittany affectionately as we were saying goodbye. I’ve had a number of other dog sitters, but Brittany just goes the extra mile. Again, she’s incredible and puts all our other sitters to shame. We are definitely spoiled and will use Brittany again anytime we need a sitter.”
