About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

Erin not only took this booking the day before I needed her due to a last minute cancel by another rover user, she also extended the time we needed her for due to medical emergencies. She went over and beyond for our dogs, especially considering she had to keep them separate the entire time and one of the dogs is not potty trained yet. She even washed the rags we provided her to be able to clean the puppies cage when she went to the bathroom! I think it goes without saying that Erin is an extremely reliable dog sitter, our dogs were very happy when we got home and appear to be kept for very well. She sent us a lot of photos and videos which our son looked forward to seeing everyday, and she kept us up to date on how the dogs were doing! About: I have been around dogs and other animals since I was an infant. My family has consistently taken care of dogs for over 30 years. I especially love training and taking dogs on enrichment activities. Pet care is a daily responsibility that requires singular attention on the animal with no multitasking. Animals need more than just food and water; they require attention and enrichment daily. Animal safety means thinking ahead and preparing. Each animal has specific needs that will allow them to thrive when met. It is important that an animal have its own space such as a crate or perch, and that they are supervised when on walks or in a new environment.

About: I truly have unlimited patience for all pets and especially dogs. I love interacting with them and truly making them feel special and appreciated. Getting some daily exercise is crucial not only for their physical health but also equally as important, their mental health! I currently have my own small business that has allowed me a lot of downtime during the late morning and into the early afternoon on weekdays. I would love to fill this free time by taking care of your beloved pets! Dogs will be fully leashed before leaving the home for their walk. Doors will be double checked before leaving/entering to check for pets nearby. Your property will be treated as if it were my own during my visit.

About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!

About: Almost 2 years of pet food store retail experience with training courses on pet care, basic pet training and deep knowledge of pet nutrition. Taken care of both my dogs since puppies (now 9, and 1 years old). I volunteer with several rescues and have helped set up fundraising/exposure events to help rescue pets find a home! I’m a full time student at Duquesne University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I’m relatively flexible and just work around my class schedule. I have plenty of experience with my own two dogs, both being rescues, and plenty more experience with customer pets that would come into the store. I also volunteer with rescues shelters walking, bathing, and taking them to the park.
