About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

About: I have been around dogs and other animals since I was an infant. My family has consistently taken care of dogs for over 30 years. I especially love training and taking dogs on enrichment activities. Pet care is a daily responsibility that requires singular attention on the animal with no multitasking. Animals need more than just food and water; they require attention and enrichment daily. Animal safety means thinking ahead and preparing. Each animal has specific needs that will allow them to thrive when met. It is important that an animal have its own space such as a crate or perch, and that they are supervised when on walks or in a new environment.

About: I have been around dogs for much of my life and am happy to fulfill their playing, food, and walking needs! Excited to help out This summer I have an extremely flexible schedule that can work around whatever is needed for your pet care! I am able to take care of pets all weekdays for as long as needed. I will not be able to care for pets in my home, but I am happy to pet sit and walk at clients' homes and around their neighborhoods and parks.

About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!

About: I’ve had a passion for animals my entire life! In fact, I always thought I’d be a vet but ended up going into human medicine instead. Growing up, my family had a Brittany spaniel named Dixie. She was my best friend! I enjoyed taking her for walks, training her, and giving her lots of love. We also had a cat, who I helped nurse back to health after she was hit by a car. My neighbors entrusted me with taking their dogs out to go potty and for walks from a very young age. A few years ago I adopted a stray cat who I named Daniel. She’s the best! I also have an Australian shepherd named Meeko. I enjoy training him and seeing how smart he is! I love the challenge of keeping up with his high mental and physical demands! I would love the opportunity to help take care of your pets as well! I currently work full time, so I am only available to provide pet care in the evenings and weekends. My schedule varies each week so let me know what you need and hopefully I’ll be able to help! I am able to take your pet out for bathroom breaks, walks, play with him/her, feed him/her, help train, etc. I will go above and beyond to provide the best care to your furry friend!

About: I have always had animals and pets around me and never hesitated to take care of others pets when needed. I grew up with three labradors, a cat, and a bird. I currently have my own cat with my partner and hope to someday get a medium/large dog! I am currently working full-time remote. I can be flexible on the location I work from depending on my work load on any given day. I can be more flexible after 5pm for some activities. Usually, my Sundays are busy but occasionally I can be flexible. I cannot currently offer service in my own home. However, I will treat your home with the utmost respect to you and your pets environment as though it were my own.

About: Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. I am quite passionate about it. :) Leo is my 7 year old black lab and personal service dog so your fur family will have free socialization and canine therapy in addition to my human care. He has worked with me extensively as a focal point in my approach to providing applied behavior analysis therapy to children and dogs. I trust our working relationship more than anyone on two legs. ;) Please feel free to ask me any questions about this dynamic! I am currently a full time student in an online, fully remote, tech program so I am very flexible when it comes to location, time of day, and duration for care. From the time I was in college, I always loved pet and house sitting. Opportunities for a change of scenery, in a fresh space, and caring for fur friends is always a treat. The care completely depends on the needs of the animals and home. I have administered meds, cared for young and old pets, implemented training, embraced snuggles, and fulfilled food orders that make meals look like a sundae.
