“Even though we only needed him for one day, we are very pleased with the service he provided to our two kitties. Flynn and Izzy, being true scaredy-cats, ran and hid under our bed as soon as he arrived. Gary then cleaned out the litter, fed them, and checked on their water. He stuck around for a little while to see if the cats would come out of their hiding places. They do not normally come out from there when anyone is at the house. But Flynn eventually came out to the living room to investigate! Izzy popped out of the bedroom, but kept her distance at the end of hallway. Gary got pictures of both and sent them to us, relieving our fears that the kitties would be terrified. Thank you, Gary, for your patience with them. We truly appreciate it.”

About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

About: In the midst of taking care of other dogs as a pet sitter I've always found myself with cats also being a brother/sister. I've fully fallen in love with being around cats and enjoying their playtime and attention seeking pets they require which is very adorable. I can feed the cat some treats, pet the cat, clean up the litter and just play snuggles with the cats toys and grooming.

About: I have been watching animals as my full-time profession for over 12 years. I am very loving, nurturing, patient, trustworthy, organized and dependable, which helps me succeed in my speciality of watching the animals out of their homes. However, I do have a very friendly shih-tzu in my home that allows me to watch dogs in my home as well. Half of my yard is fenced in, and the other 1/2 has two leads in case there are dogs that may need separated. I also will walk them daily for exercise. At the meet and greets, I go over a plan where we set the number of hours I can be gone for my walks and visits, and I work within the time frame requested. However, if your pets need let out, fed, etc any where under six hours, I will need to adjust my pricing. I have to honor my regular customers as well. I have worked with all sizes of dog, administer medications, insulin injections, seizure experience, and am known to be very strong, and able to handle the larger breeds. I gave more time to spend with your animals. I have a large yard with 4 leads. Also half of my yard is fenced in. They are never left outside unattended. Will provide daily walks as well if needed. Someone is always home with your dogs but could be crated if needed. At your home if I watch your animals, I am very trustworthy and follow directions to a tee. I respect your home and leave it the same as when I got there.

About: I can be with your dog almost 24/7 because I work from home. We have a fenced in yard. I have trained 2 adult dogs to do multiple tricks, not take food, not run, and be good with children. We have 10-year-old twins who love dogs and would love to play with yours, so your dog must be friendly with children. They are responsible enough to not bother your dog if it doesn't want to be bothered with though. I will have your pet with me on a pet bed, couch, or floor near me all day while I work from home. I can let them roam around the fenced in back yard as long as they would like. I am able to take them for walks at lunch and any time after 4:30 pm. We have 10 year old twins who love animals and would enjoy giving your fur baby extra attention. They are also responsible enough to not bother your dog if it doesn't want to be bothered with though.

About: I've cared for dogs since I was young and have handled dogs both large and small. I've cared for cats since 2019, I am newer to them technically, but I love how different they can be. I run my own business, so making my own hours allows me a lot of wiggle room on doing check-ins or rearranging my day to allow for walks. When caring for pets in my client's home, I always follow their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I use a leash for all walks and outdoor potty breaks, and I can crate dogs when needed if that's part of their routine. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise, playtime, and lots of attention. I'm happy to follow any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), and any special care your pet requires. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience while you're away.
About: I've been a dog owner most of my life. Friends & family often rely on me to feed, walk & play with their fur babies. I'm retired so I have plenty of time to devote to the wellbeing of your pet. There is always time for belly rubs & ear scratches. I have a dog friendly house - lounging on the couch is okay and sleeping in my bed is encouraged. Snuggle bunnies are welcome here. Your pet will have full run of the house - I don't use crates unless a crate is part of your pets usual routine. I have a large yard that is NOT fenced. All boarders will have to be walked on a leash. It is important that all pets are leash trained.
About: I have a true passion caring for animals of all kinds. I actually want to go back to school to become a zoologist or a veterinarian. Animals have always been a passion which is why I genuinely love rover. I have a little hamster who I adore and even take care of my roommates dog when she goes on vacation at times. I care for her dog tollie like she is my own. that’s the type of caretaker I am. Cats, dogs, small mammals…you name it, I can do it. So no matter if you have to stay at work late or just going on vacation, I can be there for your pet. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and even schedule a meet and greet.
