“I am so happy with Christy. She knew exactly what to do with a cat in a new environment. She was adept at keeping cats inside the house. And Kuma felt incredibly safe living with them. I would recommend and would use her if I ever have to leave a pet with someone again.”

“We are so lucky we found ToniMarie (&co). From the start, ToniMarie took the time to make sure my dog was a good fit with her dog and cat and arranged a meet and greet. My dog is always a bit anxious with new encounters/places but she was very patient and went out of her way to make sure he would be comfortable. I was gone for a long stretch of time but had peace of mind the entire time knowing that during the day each of the animals had their own spaces and then coexisted when ToniMarie and/or her husband were home. We were in communication often and ToniMarie was even flexible with using different communication platforms (since mine were limited), ensuring that I had daily updates and photos. It was easy to tell that my dog was not only cared for, but exercised on adventures around town and pampered with affection. I imagine ToniMarie has a lot of repeat pet clients but I so hope we can book with her again!”

“Ashley, Shane and family were awesome to our dog, Nala! We will go no where else the next time we are in Juneau. We felt so comforted that our NALA was in capable loving hands! We recommend them highly without reservation.”

About: Im a traveling lass, spending my summers in Haines as a river guide and winters in Juneau as a kelp farmer. I grew up in Truckee, Ca and had the joy of sharing the house with dogs my whole life. Ive had experience with dozens of breeds and personalities from outings with neighbor dogs. In 2017, following my graduation from Cal Poly with a degree in Animal Science, I adopted my pal Buster. Such a high energy dog required lots of patience in training and understanding but Im happy to say we keep each other healthy and active. High energy dogs aren't my only specialty, I am also taking care of a very mellow and sweet Aussie and I am good at balancing the needs of both, and all other types that may come along. I mostly substitute teach currently. I have mornings and evenings to take care of pups. My dogs love other pups and I can handle a whole pack at a time. I get them out 3x/day I live in a pet friendly home with two dogs. They love other dogs and to play. My best care is provided when either your pup stays with me or mine can stay at your home so I can take care of all the dogs simultaneously. However can work around other preferences.

About: I have taken care of many animals throughout my life including dogs, cats, birds, horses and fish. With a very flexible schedule I can offer lots of attention, walks and potty breaks. Also, this allows me to do frequent drop-ins if you would like your pet to stay at home. Sapulpa, my 14 yr. old, deaf mini-schnauzer, loves meeting new friends! She’s definitely in her grandma years so she loves sleeping more than playing these days, but somehow finds the energy to play with any new friends. I have an awesome stay at home job that allows drop-in visits, walks, and doggie daycare. I can also watch your pet(s) overnight in the comfort of my home. Frequent potty breaks, walks, play time, rest time, etc. I can take your pet on long walks or short walks based on the pets needs.

Olivia D.
“Olivia is a wonderful choice as a dog caregiver! She is a patient, communicative, and responsible pet owner herself. She truly loves all animals, and her degree in Animal Science makes her well equipped and qualified to handle a wide array of pet emergencies or medical situations. She is always volunteering to watch her friends' pets, and help out with short notice. Just last month we had to leave town for a family emergency and leave our dog, Skippy, behind post-surgery. Olivia offered to dog sit right away and take care of Skippy and all her post-surgery needs, so that we were able to travel stress free! Olivia is the best!”

Brooke E.
“LOVES dogs - has a dog of her own. Very caring person that has a good way with dogs and takes great care with them.”

Ashling C.

“Very positive cat-boarding experience, both of them came home and were acting all happy.”
