“Ellen kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind. She followed all my instructions perfectly, including adding filtered water to Ripken’s food. When we picked Ripken up he was happy and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend Ellen to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and responsible dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Hannah was wonderful with my two fur babies. I have a 12-year-old Maltese and a three year-old Siberian husky mix and she treated them very well. The dogs were very happy when they came back that’s my sign that they were treated very well. I will definitely call Hannah again. She is a gem.”

“Mike did a great job watching my dog! He was super accommodating, flexible with his schedule, always quick to respond to my messages, and he sent cute pics and videos! My dog was happy and relaxed at the end of the stay. Highly recommend Mike!”

“My dog Jasper had a great time staying with Matt and Ashley. Jasper and Marshmallow became fast friends at the meet and greet and they had so much fun during Jasper's stay, playing and running around. Matt sent updates with photos and videos (which were very much appreciated) so we could see how much fun Jasper was having and how he was doing. We picked up a very happy and tired pup. I've already booked Jasper's next stay with them. Definitely recommend!”

“Kaylie spoiled my rescue girl, Winnie! She was super communicative & sent a lot of ADORABLE pictures of her playing & resting comfortably while we were away. My friend became unavailable last min and I was scrambling last min! Kaylie was awesome! Highly recommend ❤️”

“Honest Assessment of choosing to board Lucy through Rover with John J. for the past 5 days. My mental filters in my search were immediate need, pet care, backyard, calm environment, An providing updates, and all reviews (good and not so good). I had experience boarding pets multiple times over the past 6 years. He offered and gave me a discount when he realized I had to take an Uber to get there because I couldn’t find anyone to drive Lucy and me there! John checked off all my boxes. Examples: 1. I arrived 30 minutes early at 3:00 and texted him that I was there., Traffic patterns are unpredictable in North Charleston. He got back to his house at 3:30 our arranged time. He explained he was driving his child somewhere and couldn’t text back. I just waited on his porch. It’s a safe neighborhood. Plus, I deplore people who text while driving. Unsafe people! He asked me to wait just a minute while he went inside to secure the other dogs. 2. His calmness and patience with my dog. My Lucy is an overanxious dog with separation anxiety . 3. During our tour of the inside of John’s home a few dogs were happily relaxing in open crates waiting for out tour to end so that there wasn’t chaos during our tour . I had toured other homes that boarded more that one dog at a time and the owners had to shout over barking dogs and weren’t able to focus on my questions. My friend in another state who also boards dogs crates the dogs temporarily during tours . 4. High level of Compassion. I was having a medical crisis. He worked with me on the timing of the Meet and Greet which I had to change a couple of times. 5. His backyard is tranquil with scattered trees, etc. And, has a wooden fence so that Lucy could have the ability to roam around safely. 6. John’s patience while engaging her in his backyard. Lucy can be overprotective when I am around other dogs and he was able to redirect her multiple times without frustration or aggression. I call it firm kindness. He pulled his grandmother’s wheelchair out into the yard for me to sit on! 7. He asked detailed questions about Lucy’s habits at home to get to know her.. 8. I didn’t feel the urge to call and check on Lucy between routine updates. 9. He provided updates that included videos of Lucy playing in his backyard which confirmed that she was being well cared for.”
