About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was old enough for my parents and neighbors to trust me! Grew up with multiple of my both in the house and naturally my first job was dog walking and house sitting around the neighborhood. Have experience working with older pets, puppies / kittens, and large breeds. Currently, live in the Corktown neighborhood with my Australian Shepherd Mel. If you see us out on a walk, say hello! I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your ideal walking and / or care schedule. My Australian Shepard Mel and I walk around Corktown daily and am always up for spending more time outside! For Dog Walking: I follow your lead on your dog's tendencies / preferences. I adhere to your preferred routes and instructions regarding leash etiquette, avoiding off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. If your dog enjoys canine company, I'm happy to bring my Aussie Mel along, who loves walking with friends! If your dog likes playing ball / frisbee, happy to discuss how we can accommodate that as well. For In-Home Pet Check-ins: I pay close attention to your pet's behavior and appetite, reporting any concerns to you immediately. I ensure fresh water is always available and clean up any messes promptly. I prioritize respecting your space, leaving it just as I found it.

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs for my entire life. From elderly beagles to pitbulls with no concept of their own size, I love them all! I'm experienced with special needs pets, having personally taken care of pets who are blind and deaf; who have FIV, FeLV and CKD; and who are missing teeth and tail. I am familiar with giving meds orally (both pill and syringe form), taking care of sick pets, and monitoring symptoms. You know what your pet needs, and I always make sure quality care is given in your absence! I am currently available mornings, afternoons, and nights M-F and weekends. I am a teacher with lots of spare time during the summer! I prefer mornings and nights for walks to prevent your pets from overheating. I currently do not offer boarding for pets in my home. I aim to respect your home and leave it cleaner than I found it! I'm happy to clean pet bowls, vacuum pet beds, etc.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life, having anything from large dogs to small cats. I’ve also house sat and watched animals for many a friend, family member, and coworker. I currently work as a freelance theatre designer/technician, so my hours can be super flexible. quick walks and check ins during the day are ideal for me, but I am down for whatever! I am very happy to make the clients animals comfortable in their own home. I also have a car so taking a dog to a park is also easy for me to do!

About: I have raised 4 puppies of my own until healthy old age. From my Jack Russell, German shepherd, Australian cattle dog mix, and Golden shepherd mix. Each have very diverse dispositions and needs for exercise and diet. Hopefully we can work on a consistent plan for their care while you are away. My day typically starts at 7am and ends in the evening hours at 10pm. I welcome conversations and appointments throughout the day. Ask me for a regular schedule to ensure I handle all of your pets household needs. I like to keep a clear and hygienic environment to ensure that pets have a healthy, safe and stress free environment. About: Hi my name is Jack Bishop, I'm a first year PhD student at Wayne State University studying Genetics and Genomic Sciences. I've offered my services on Rover on and off for the last 8 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every encounter and memory I've made with the furry creatures who come through my door. I've been privileged with the companionship of dogs all my life and as a result, I understand the crucial role they play in the lives of their owners. For that reason, I treat each and every animal placed under my care like my own pet. The opportunity to care for a wide variety of different dogs and dog breeds is the reason I love to work for Rover. Each and every one of their personalities is so distinct and unique. I live by myself in 2 bedroom apartment located near Brush Park in Detroit, MI (across the street from little caesars arena). On any given day, I'm in class for 1-3 hours. Otherwise, you can usually find me back home either studying or playing guitar. If you find yourself in need of exceptional dog care/hospitality or even if you’d like to have someone stop by to check in on your pup, feed them or take them for a walk, please do not hesitate to message me. As a PhD student, much of my time will be occupied by online courses with the occasional trip to campus. My schedule allows for sufficient interaction with any and all dogs placed under my care. I have a 1200 square foot apartment with a fenced in back yard that I can use to exercise dogs. Beyond this, I am an avid runner who is keen to run dogs provided permission from the owner.

About: I currently have no pets, but have looked after my own dog Amber as well as families/friends pets since I was a young teenager. I’m not in a place to adopt, but you need someone to look after your pets, and I miss being around them so maybe this will work :) I am currently working full time, but I work from home and have plenty of time to pop out for daily walks, checking on your pets, and really anything. I’m incredibly flexible with this job. Really I am looking to help you in anyway that suits you and your needs, I have a small fenced yard next to mudgies, with plenty of small parks to walk through, and I’m willing to meetup and chat if you would like to see if I am a good fit for you and your pets. I will have the utmost respect for your space and your pets and follow whatever instructions you may have, and work hard to make sure you know your pet is getting the care they deserve.
