“Leanne and Mark were awesome to work with. I was super nervous about leaving Ezra with a new pet-sitter, but they were incredible with him. Our dog played so well with their well-behaved dog - Astro - and didn't want to leave when we came to pick him up! I received pictures to let me know he was doing well, and it really eased my worry. I know that our dog got the attention and exercise that I was looking for with a pet-sitter. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a responsive and caring pet-sitter for their furry family member :)”
“Jessica was amazing!!! She watched my 11 year old beagle Sally. She sent pictures of Sally cuddling and was very communicative! I would most definitely recommend her as a sitter!”

“Lauren was so sweet and helpful. I brought Daisy with just a few days notice and they were able to accommodate. She got along great with their dog, Nala and was happy and tuckered out by the end of the weekend.”

“Monica kept Henry for a long weekend and, as always, was excellent with him. Monica has a very active house and manages to keep up with everything while making it look easy. Henry is always well taken care of when he’s with Monica and her family. I would not hesitate to recommend Monica.”

“Janet is amazing . She took care of sage like she was her own. She spent much quality time with sage . She gives much attention and affection. I truly recommend Janet . We will definitely use her again ??”
“Melissa had great communication and Georgie came home happy! We coordinate pickup and drop off times and my mother was doing the pickups and a first time rover-er and everything went great! Already booked with Melissa again!”

“First time using this app and I was very anxious because I have nv left my dog with strangers but Hali made sure to send me pics and videos of uno which helped a lot. She did not disappoint 🙌🏾 Thank you Hali 🫶🏾”

“First time use Rover and had a fantastic experience with Emeline! Great communication, Emeline was always quick to reply, and constantly check in with us, and we scheduled a visit before boarding. Emeline is very patient and truly loves animals, and she bought our puppy treat and gave him plenty of toys to play with, I can see that my puppy was happy!”

“Christina is the best, Toby pulls us down the street when he knows we’re coming to her house. He absolutely adores her and she does an amazing job with him. We are so grateful for her.”

“Marisa and her puppy, Maya, made Yoshi feel right at home. Marisa kept me updated with pictures and communicated extremely well. Even though Yoshi was happy to see me, he is a bit sad because am sure he misses his new friend, Maya. I highly recommend this family for your doggy sitting needs!”

“Amazing sitter. She took such good care of my older dog over the holidays and kept me updated on how he was doing. If I wasn't moving across the country I would definitely book Cindy again.”

“I could not have asked for a better dog sitter! She treated my dog like he was her own. She sent loads of pics of him enjoying himself. I have found my forever sitter. He didn’t want to leave because he met friends and had a great time!!”

“OMG so at the last minute my sister canceled on me and my flight was early morning the next day. Jovani was willing to keep Duce last minute. You could tell when I was dropping Duce off that Jovani was in his element and had a genuine love for dogs! Duce was a little nervous but Jovani calmed his nerves immediately. Jovani sent pictures daily to ease my mind and upon pick up I could tell Duce enjoyed his stay. This will be a second home for Duce as we travel a lot. Jovani will be seeing a lot more of Duce! Thank you for easing my mind and assuring Duce had a loving environment and experience home away from home! Thank you thank you 😊 ❤️🙏🏾”

“Rose has been amazing with our dog Jamie! She is extremely personable, and very accommodating to our needs. She is very good with animals, and really knew how to introduce Jamie to the other boarders and help him assimilate to the environment. This was our first time leaving Jamie in a home other than our own, and we weren’t sure how that was going to play out- and Rose really made us feel comfortable that our baby was in good hands ❤️ Highly recommend!!!”

“Gabby and her family are amazing! Our dog Lola was so relaxed and happy to spend over a week there. Even in the photos we could see how happy she was. Gabby sent us a great update every day, took Lola on lots of walks, and asked a lot of questions about how best to care for her.”

“Chazz was so gracious with our schedule in dropping off and picking up our dog. He was flexible with our last minute boarding and provided many photo/video updates. Ozy had a great time with him and I’d book again!”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life so I can take care of puppies to elderly dogs. Most dogs love me and want to come play and pet. I also have a 2.5yr old son who absolutely LOVES dogs. We are happy to take care of dogs with special needs or is on mediations. We had a cat that just recently passed away and she would have been 19yrs old this year. She had asthma and we had to give her an inhaler 2x a day for 10 years. Happy to help your family with any special needs. We will love them like our own while you are away. I currently run my own business and work from home. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fairly easily adopt to your needs and help out wherever I can. I have a nice size home so your dog will have lots of free range all over the house. I live in a very pet friendly community so there are a ton of dogs around and a nice place to go walking the dog.
“Kerri and Harry were great with our 12 year old lab, Lacey. They arranged a meet and great prior to booking to make sure that our pup would be ok with their cats. They were responsive and sent updates while we were away. Lacey came home very tired and happy! We will absolutely book with them again in the future!”

“Jill was absolutely wonderful with Charlie and Bailey. She and her fur baby Roscoe made them feel at home. Jill was so helpful, flexible and caring with them. They were administered meds regularly, fed and cared for with great love. Her home was beautiful and very clean but still very conducive to pet care. She was in touch with pics and reports daily and they always looked happy and healthy. She lives very close so that was an extra convenience. I’m excited that we’ve found such a wonderful caregiver so close to home. We will definitely be coming back.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Delran Township
Leanne and Mark are absolutely marvelous. I met with Leanne before leaving my Portuguese Water Dog named Stella and my pup took to her immediately. She stayed with Leanne and Mark for two weeks and all the while I was sent photographs and updates and told how she was doing. Since I was travelling on business, it was a huge weight lifted from me knowing that Stella was in such good hands. She came back to me happy and healthy and I simply couldn't ask for more.

Lou was well cared for while we were away on vacation. We booked short notice and had no issues, I would definitely use them Lauren and John again. Lou is like a child to me. He came home happy and tired after playing with the kids for a week. Thanks for being awesome and making my trip less stressful!! I would definitely book with them again.

Craig took amazing care of our two pups while we travelled for the Christmas holiday. His place was absolutely perfect with the large back yard, and he also took them on many walks throughout the day. They had a great experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Delran Township home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Delran Township.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Delran Township sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
