When we came home after 17–18 days, Turmeric was happy, healthy, and relaxed. He’s an extremely shy cat, but by the last week of our trip he had actually become friends with Gabrielle—which says everything about her patience, kindness, and the trust she was able to build with him. A few days into our trip, we also had an unexpected ant problem. Gabrielle noticed it right away, communicated with us immediately, and together we were able to move the food and resolve the issue before it became a bigger problem. She sent us daily updates, along with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us smile every day. She followed all of our household instructions carefully, including removing her shoes at the door and washing her hands right away. She also gave my cats time to approach her on their own terms, which made a huge difference—especially for my more anxious kitten who typically avoids new people but surprisingly warmed up to her. During my eight-day trip, I had unreliable internet access and was unable to consistently view her updates. Despite this, Kaileigh went above and beyond to stay in communication and ensure I felt reassured. When I finally had service, I was able to see photos and videos of my cats looking happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She even answered my call promptly, knowing I might not get another chance to reach her. When I returned home, everything was exactly as I had left it, and she thoughtfully informed me about a potential issue with my lockbox so I could address it. About: We own two large dogs- an Australian cattle dog/Anatolian shepherd/Hound mix, and a yellow Labrador retriever. They are very high energy and unique with lively personalities. We love to take them on bicycle rides/walks through the woods and neighborhood. We both have experience with dogs- John dog-sat as a child and has had family dogs as well, and I grew up on a farm with 10-15 inside/outside dogs all my life as well as many other animals. We have a big back yard that is fenced in, we also live next to a big state park that is loads of fun for any animal! Our entire family and our friends also have dogs, so when we all get together we usually have about 12-14 dogs all together at once running around playing and having fun! We would love to be able to help others who own dogs and have a busy schedule live life while knowing their beloved pet is well taken care of!

Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

Getting to know the different personalities of each animal I come across is my passion. In my childhood home I was able to experience caring for puppies until they became elderly. Though most of my experience is with pits. I was blessed to care for a doodle mix & a shih Tzu in their last years. I respect all animals and their space. I currently work full-time 3 days a week with 4 day available to care for your furbabies. Saturday- Monday is my work schedule. Tuesday-Friday I am up by 7am cleaning my home or visiting my parents. By 12pm the rest of my day is free. I can do evening drop ins (after 5pm) or overnight stays on the days I work (leave by 4am). Am very flexible during the week. If you're in need of a sitter/ care giver for family or business trips. In my home or the client's home I will follow the set schedule the clients have for their pets. My home has a fenced in backyard where I can take elderly or less fit pups to play and potty. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood where I can take your pup on walks. I do require a harness and leash set per pet with a portable water bowl to keep them hydrated on walks. A breakdown of allergies or sensitivities each pet has. As well as a bed or crate for them to sleep in overnight. At the client's house I would like to do a walk through of the property and learn the habits of their pet. This will give me an understanding of how to properly care for each individual pet in and outside of the home.

She sent daily text updates, plenty of pictures, and a video each day of my vacation. Sammie even was able to fall asleep with her in her bed similar to how she is at home. Sammie loved their dogs and had a great time playing in the back yard. I highly recommend Melissa, Dan, and her family for watching dogs. You will feel at ease knowing your pup is in wonderful, loving hands :)”

“Kimberly is great with my pups! I was nervous about boarding my dogs as they are older; one is blind, and the other is deaf, going blind, and on medication. Her home and backyard are the perfect set up with plenty of space. The best part: every time I looked at my phone I had new pics of my pups to reassure me they were safe and sound. My dogs always seem happy to be dropped off which is rare as they get nervous going to the vet or groomer. Highly recommend!”
“Annette and Martin are wonderful! My dog Riley isn't great with strangers but they were so gentle with her and let her come to them as she wished. Their place has a great set up for dogs. I was so thankful that they were super flexible and agreed to keep Riley an extra night at short notice. Most importantly, they really calmed my fears of leaving Riley by sending texts and uploading so many pics and videos to Facebook. That really made leaving her so much more comfortable for me. They are wonderful sitters.”
“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”
