About: I have owned dogs all my life all shapes and sizes. I have been trained and volunteer for MDSPCA and the Baltimore Humane Society. I believe it’s important that all dog’s feel loved and taken care of and are as much a family member as anyone else. I know how important interactive play is and enrichment. Keeping a dog in their own environment is best for their well being. Kennels can be very noisy and stressful to the average dog. I know as a pet owner myself having your dog with a trusted person is critical. I also have a medical background so I would be ready for any emergency., if it should arise. I have no Problem giving medication to your pet if needed I am recently retired and I am looking forward to devoting my time to caring for dogs. My schedule is very flexible and ready to start. I have a fenced in yard and have cared for dogs of all sizes. I make sure they are safe and loved and having fun..
About: I’ve taken care of many different breeds through out my life. My mom worked for the state of South Carolina rescuing all kinds of four legged babies, some she got to bring home!! My dad rescued pitbulls from dog fighting and abusive homes, we had 13 pitbulls at once!! I loved every second of it, he taught me from a young age that animals have feelings like people and some animals suffer trauma just like people and because of that, those are the ones that need extra love. Ever since then I followed him around for every feeding, every walk, every training. I’m unable to have to have animals in my new home and I miss them a lot so I’d love the opportunity to care for your fur babies as if they were my own Currently I do have a full time job Monday -Friday but I am free in the evenings and on weekends. I also have all national holidays off I can’t care for pets in my home due to my roommates allergies however I’m very neat, I’m very respectful of others spaces, and love a schedule/routine so you have a “scary” list of care needs for your pet then I’m a perfect fit!

About: I've owned my dog, Beaux, for, 2 years. Prior to that I'd dog sit my neighbors and family pets quite often. This is where my love of dogs came from. Whether it is going on walks, play time, and hanging out I will take care of your dogs as if they were my own. Additionally, I work with dogs that love to pull and help them to minimize pulling. Working with my dog to minimize those behaviors is something I've enjoyed doing. I work from home and my schedule is fairly loose throughout the day. I set aside time for my dog during the day for walks and playtime. My yard is not fenced, but there is ample space behind my house for walking and playing. She was very responsive in our communication and with the our pups needs. Our boy is sometimes shy with new people but he took to her right away and he even hung next to her while we did our initial meet up. Julian did a great job with both my 100 lb dogs and my 17 year old cat! Julian is very responsive and a good communicator and he has a pleasant upbeat attitude. He was careful about giving medication to two of my pets, asking for clarification when needed. I recommend Julian as an excellent pet sitter.
Riley was a breath of relief for us. Was very attentive to Zeus and our concerns. Was exceptional at enriching Zeus life. Took him for car rides and social events. Helped us when he was having ear pain the Sunday we were to leave. She connected with our vet to get him in and feeling better. Left a clean house and wrote a beautiful synopsis of her stay and how Zeus did. I highly recommend Riley. She was here for two weeks while we were away overseas.
Kaye was incredible. She stayed at our place over the Christmas holiday while we were out of the country, and watched over our dog & my mom’s dog as she was also traveling with us. This was an unusual situation because the dogs do not ordinarily live together - Kaye was magnificent at both navigating the little tensions that arose between them, and at keeping us posted about the every-day goings on and how she was handling it. We got updates routinely, and she really went above and beyond in terms of taking care of the house while we were away. Some choice words I would attribute to Kaye: trustworthy, responsive, and thoughtful. Will definitely be hoping Kaye is available the next time we have our-of-town plans!

Areli was amazing, she has great enthusiasm and you can tell how much she loves dog. She did an amazing job. Has great communication and kept me updated. Had no issues at all. She asks plenty of great questions that I did not think of at the time and my dogs loved her.
I was away for 10 days, Liz was incredibly respectful of my space and took amazing care of my Layla making sure she was fed, snuggled, and entertained. Layla never does well with new people but somehow Liz’s amazing presence was an exception. When I got home, she had fully cleaned the apartment making it look as though I never left, if not better than when I left it. She made sure to keep me updated with EVERYTHING, sending me pictures and videos so I knew Layla was doing good. She also responded very quickly every time which lifted all my stress off of me as it was my first time leaving my apartment in the hands of a sitter. As a first timer on Rover, Liz well exceeded my expectations and I will definitely choose her in the future when I go on more trips!
