About: After a weekend touring some well intentioned "pet ranches" for an upcoming trip, we were disheartened as the places smelled of urine, were very noisy, & seemed over-crowded. We felt that our dog would just be a number in their system & we figured there had to be a better way to care for our favorite four legged family member when we left town and that is when we discovered Rover. We then thought that becoming sitters ourselves would help the community in finding a loving environment for their furry friends when they needed a place to stay too! We offer a clean, large, pet-friendly, living space with a gated-in back yard. We have one dog, Hadley (lab retriever mix), that loves to play with other dogs. Also in the house, is Kyra, our teen daughter who loves all animals equally, and our teen son, Kaleb, who loves to play ball & tug-o-war with your pet. I work out of the home so I am around to meet your pet's needs and my wife loves to snuggle with furry friends after a long day's work. We only accept one family's dog(s) at a time so that we can give your pet the attention it so desperately needs. We are your perfect answer to finding a loving and caring place for 4 legged family member when you can't take her with you.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up, we always had cats in the house and when I was 12, I got my first dog. When I was little, I ran a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood and had so much fun taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. I recently moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University but I try to visit my furbabies at home as much as possible. My roommate, Jimme, and I love animals and spend as much time with them as we can, whether it's visiting pets we know, spending an afternoon in pet shops, or volunteering for various animal organizations. We are both active people and love going on long walks through our neighborhood. I am a very responsible, attentive sitter and treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. One of my favorite things to do when caring for a pet is to take lots of pictures! You can be sure that I will keep you updated on all the activities we do so you never have to worry about your pet while you are away. You can expect your dog to be spoiled with treats, cuddles, and lots of playtime while visiting! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I often work remotely here in Wichita, so I am available to care for your pet all day! I am extremely flexible and can usually modify repeat bookings as requested. One of the first things I like to do with the pets in my care is gain their trust by feeding and playing with them. Then, we go on walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise and explore. Dogs are usually ready for a treat and a nap when we get back home so I let them relax before we do it all again!

About: I have 30+years of experience with many kinds of animals. I have personally owned: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guineas, horses and a goat, pig and miniature donkey! About: My pets are the most important thing in my life and I would like to take care of your fur babies the same way I do mine. I am able to check in on your pets during the day as well as take them on long walks. I have cared for both cats and dogs for my entire life and currently have two of my own cats and a dog. If your dog likes to socialize I am also able to bring along my own pup on walks or for playdates at the dog park. I also able to let your dogs outside during the day when you are busy working so you can have peace of mind. I am comfortable with all sizes and ages of dogs.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a young girl, and have never stopped loving it! I am finally at a place in my life where I own a house and can have pets, so I have a terrier mix who is my little buddy at all times! I am very comfortable with both puppies/kittens and senior animals and a quick learner for any specific needs/attention/love pets need :) I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the week! I am single and typically around on the evenings/weekends. I just have my schedule to manage, so as long as I am available, I'll be there! My goal is to care for all pets with the love like they are own-whether they are or not. I have basic care skills, but can ensure diligence, active and engaging time spent with your animals, timely care, and commitment to following care guidelines to a T. I know what it’s like to leave your animals in the care of someone else. My personal pet sitters are accustomed to abnormally and intensely detailed printed guidelines with care instructions for my animals, so regardless of how detailed your care instructions are, I have the aptitude to follow them in their entirety plus more to the best of my abilities! I am a medical student in my first year, so I do have the ability to have more control of my schedule. I will continually update my time availability to be accurate weekly. I will not commit something that I cannot guarantee availability for! I will only be able to give care in your home due to living in an apartment complex and having animals of my own. But in caring for my own animals, I am quite neurotic in how detailed and specifically I care for them. I make sure my animals have daily mental and exercise stimulation through playing with toys, walking, and engagement with me and each other. I am adamant about giving my animals affection, and provide them meals in a timely and measured way. I brush all of my animals teeth daily, walk my dogs daily, and clean my cats litter box at least twice a day. I am very attuned to subtleties and changes in my animals behavior to ensure that they are in good health! I want to give my animals the best life and care possible just as I will do for your animals!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was young. My neighbors, friends and family all trusted me to feed, walk, play with and care for all of their pets for long or short periods of time. It is a passion of mine and I love to make their time with me special and memorable. I am currently stay at home with no kids so I have open availability to care for your pets and give them special attention whenever you need. We have a large fenced yard with high wooden fencing. We have a dog ourself who loves to play with new friends at home and outside of the home. We take field trips often to dog parks, nature trails and on car rides. We do let dogs on furniture, we have carpet and tile in the house and the dogs will be let out whenever they need.

I can drop in and visit your dog or cat, walk them, feed them, and keep them company for a little while. I make sure that animals are never left unsupervised. About: I have experience walking elderly dogs and younger ones. I started walking dogs when I was in middle school, and I absolutely love all dogs and will care for your baby! I have pet sit many cats and love them, and I have experience with smaller animals as well. I work full time M-F 8-4. I am able to check on your pet in the evenings or in the early morning, and on the weekends Given my experience, I am very careful with walking dogs and I am sure to never walk them near a busy road and always look both ways before I cross the street. If caring for your pet at home, I leave things as I found them, clean up after myself and your pet, and treat your area with respect.

About: I have had the pleasure of having several dogs growing up of all kinds of breeds. Currently, I volunteer at the Kansas Human Society where I help socialize the dogs at the shelter and get them ready for adoption. I currently work fully remote at my job and my job allows for flexibility of hours that can be worked. So I have no issue taking 2 hours off in the middle of the day to take your dog for a walk! Working at the Kansas Humane Society I have learned that every dog has its own needs and personality. I believe adapting to each dog’s personality is key to providing the safest and best service for your dog.
