“Celeste is wonderful. We had met and already agreed to a three night pet sit later in the month, and some weekend walks with Duchess so they could get better acquainted before the overnights. Then I sprained my ankle and my wife's lower back went out. Celeste on very short notice stepped up by taking Duchess for unscheduled neighborhood walks so we could rest and recover. Two walks in now and Celeste and Duchess have clearly bonded. Duchess is a totally happy love bucket who thinks every person is her friend, but she responds best to people who are naturally relaxed and comfortable around pups while being the loving person in charge. Celeste checks all those boxes. We are very happy that we have more walks and a pet sit scheduled with Celeste.”

About: Hi, I'm Nora. Animals have been my constant companions and teachers throughout my life. I've had dogs since I was kid. Most of my friends have dogs or cat or both, so I took care of them many times while they were traveling. I have experience with a wide range of dog breeds from Chihuahuas, over various Terriers, Poodles, Pitbulls, Frenchies, Maltese, Newfoundlander, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Labradoodles, to Great Pyrenees. Observing dogs and their behavior has always been of great interest to me. If you let them in your bed, without fail, they will all take you up on the offer. ☺️✨️ My heart also belongs to cats, I've had them and been surrounded by them since childhood. They've shown me the joys of connecting deeply with the feline guardians. Over the years, I have house sat for cats, enjoying every moment of caring for, playing with, and observing them in their unique ways. About: I grew up with dogs, starting at the age of seven! I have learned so much in those years about how to responsibly care for dogs, while making them feel comfortable and loved. One of our family dogs was diagnosed with diabetes, so I am very comfortable giving insulin if that is something you need. After almost 18 years of living with dogs, I've also become comfortable giving eye drops, pills, etc. Aside from dogs, I have had hamsters and guinea pigs and was responsible for the entirety of their care. I also worked for an exotic veterinarian for 1 year. While I did not work with dogs but this position, it increased my confidence when it comes to working with animals in general. I now have my own dog, Remi. He has been a challenge but so wonderful. I feel confident working with very high energy dogs as I now have so much experience with one! He has inspired me to learn as much as I can about dog behavior and body language. I feel confident in support dogs and offering affection, as well as respecting their boundaries. If your dog is friendly and I am taking them for a walk, I’d love to bring my guy along but it’s not necessary! I am currently available every day of the week except Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you have need on those days, I may be able to work in the later afternoon/ early evening! I will give lots of attention! I understand that people use rover when they have to be gone for an extended period of time. So I feel it is important to make sure that I am giving your dog as much attention and love as possible. I aim to treat them as you would: focusing on their well-being and safety while also providing a fun and enriching time together.

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care and when school resumes come the New Year, I will be available part time + still available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since June 2024 I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy operation which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 15, always been watching pets for friends, family members or neighbors. I’ve always had such good experiences working with animals. I absolutely love them. In fact, I used to have pets of my own. I am eager to get on here and meet more lovely animals. I start school on August 25th, at Cabrillo. I’ll be free in the mornings, but will be busy with school in the afternoons. For the Months of August and September of 2025 I’m currently fully booked for pet sitting. About: I have had the privilege of caring for puppy dogs and senior dogs, little dogs and extra large dogs, mutts and pure breeds. I've cared for puppies who are not potty trained; a Newfoundland with bad hips; a German Shorthair Pointer who loved to fetch at the beach for hours and hours; a 20 lb terrier with separation issues; high energy Spaniels who camped out in the kitchen with hopes of treats; an otherwise perfect 70lb mutt who turned out to be a muffin thief; a senior Aussie with dementia and digestive issues; my senior pup with a bad back, partially deaf and diminished vision and many more characters who have taken up residence in my heart. I am experienced administering medication, changing diapers, cleaning up poo, preparing special diets, taking long walks or short; brushing and nail trimming (dog willing); playing fetch; snuggling and petting, baking healthy homemade treats. I only do boarding and overnight care in the client's home on my days off from my part time job. So the only time I am not with your pet is to run errands, rarely more than two hours at a time. Doggie Day Care rate is for 6 hours. Additional time is billed in 30 minute increments at the rate of $6 per 30 minutes. The clock starts at the earliest listed time for drop off and ends at the latest listed time for pick up. Example: Client lists a drop off time between 9am - 11am. The day care clock starts at 9am. I have a dog friendly home ( and my senior dog for company) with a large fenced back yard. Dogs have access to the back yard at all times. For overnights the dogs sleep in their dog beds anywhere in the house that they are comfortable. Otherwise I follow the dogs regular routine. In the client's home I follow the dogs regular sleep, wake, feeding, exercise and play routine.
