About: I have loved all pets since I was kid;) I normally help friends with their dogs, but I was trying to branch out;) I used to just have cats, but we added two bunnies to the mix and may adopt more. I work full time Monday-Friday at home, but I have a lot of flexibility, as long as I get my 8 hrs at work in;) I would prefer the clients home to visit. I have 3 cats and 2 bunnies at this time;) My place is relatively smaller and pets like to be in their common place.

About: For many years I lived in an apartment and could not have pets, so taking care of friend's and friends of friend's pets was a wonderful way to connect with animals. I've spent extended periods with dogs and cats - I've even taken care of a dozen chickens, in addition to the resident dogs and cat for one friend. I now have a sweet kitty in my life named Koda, along with my housemates two cats. I will take care of your fur babies just as you would. I know how stressful kenneling can be, so let me hang out with your fur kids. I am retired and have no real constraints on my time other than occasional travel. Because I don't have outside work, I'm free to spend most of my time with your pets. I will take care of your pets as instructed by you - in fact, having written instructions will help me immensely, particularly if there are medications or special needs to be met. If I'm staying overnight I will spend my time hanging out, walking or doing supervised potty breaks, providing lots of toy time and snuggles with your pets. Knowing what a typical day looks like for you and your household will give me the guidance I need.

My patient and gentle nature allows me to connect with dogs of all personalities — from energetic pups to shy or nervous ones. I follow instructions closely and am happy to help with commands, leash manners, or gentle encouragement for anxious dogs. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own — with kindness, respect, and plenty of love, so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. Pet care is an important part of my daily life, and I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I plan walks, visits, and playtime around your pet’s routine, and I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medication, and enrichment activities. I’m available most days after 3 PM, and all day on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can adjust for regular visits or last-minute needs whenever possible, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I provide loving, attentive care in your pet’s own home, following your routines and instructions closely. I offer walks, playtime, enrichment, and medication if needed, making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

“Judy took amazing care of our elderly dog, Winston, while we were overseas for over a week—and that’s not something I take lightly. It was really hard to leave him, especially with his morning and evening meds and his full-on obsession with his ball. She was incredibly consistent and detail-oriented, which mattered a lot to me. I never had to wonder how things were going—she kept me updated with photos, quick responses to texts, and just the right amount of communication to put me at ease. She walked him, played with him (ball included, of course), and genuinely paid attention to what he needs. And when we got home, the house was exactly how we left it. Beyond all of that, she’s thoughtful, easy to communicate with, and even a little witty—which made the whole experience that much better. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was with him, and honestly, I feel really lucky we found her. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch Winston again.”

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs for both my friends and family. My experience ranges from small dogs to BIG dogs, including watching and taking care of multiple at a time. I work from home full time so if the need is to watch a pet for a few hours, a whole day or a whole week or more I am very flexible and can do my full time job from anywhere with internet. I unfortunately cannot care for pets in my home as my family has allergies but I am happy to care for them over at your house, make sure they feel comfortable, loved and make sure they aren’t alone for long periods of time.

From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly thorough—asking every important question and answering all of ours with patience and clarity. We instantly felt at ease leaving our 9-year-old Apollo in her care. She was always extremely responsive, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating to both Apollo's needs and ours (including bringing in mail and packages). Our home was left spotless and tidy. The daily updates were a highlight—multiple photos and messages each day showing Apollo happily running in the yard, playing indoors, getting tons of cuddles, and smiling with his chompers lol. Seeing how content and loved he was allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our family vacation without a single worry! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled (leaving us stuck in airports for an extra 30 hours), Carissa immediately and graciously agreed to stay an additional night. Knowing Apollo was in such capable, caring hands made a stressful travel day, much easier. Carissa's professionalism, genuine love for dogs, and thoughtful attention to detail made our trip better than we could have hoped.
