I live in an apartment community with a dedicated dog park just a short walk from my home, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. I also have access to my mother’s home, which features a large fenced yard and pool area with no resident pets, offering additional space for supervised outdoor play if appropriate. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and preferences to ensure every pet receives personalized care and attention.

From our very first meet-and-greet, she was incredibly thorough—asking every important question and answering all of ours with patience and clarity. We instantly felt at ease leaving our 9-year-old Apollo in her care. She was always extremely responsive, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating to both Apollo's needs and ours (including bringing in mail and packages). Our home was left spotless and tidy. The daily updates were a highlight—multiple photos and messages each day showing Apollo happily running in the yard, playing indoors, getting tons of cuddles, and smiling with his chompers lol. Seeing how content and loved he was allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our family vacation without a single worry! When our flight was unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled (leaving us stuck in airports for an extra 30 hours), Carissa immediately and graciously agreed to stay an additional night. Knowing Apollo was in such capable, caring hands made a stressful travel day, much easier. About: I have loved all pets since I was kid;) I normally help friends with their dogs, but I was trying to branch out;) I used to just have cats, but we added two bunnies to the mix and may adopt more. I work full time Monday-Friday at home, but I have a lot of flexibility, as long as I get my 8 hrs at work in;) I would prefer the clients home to visit. I have 3 cats and 2 bunnies at this time;) My place is relatively smaller and pets like to be in their common place.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7! I’ve been passionate about dogs since I was little. I am experienced in bathing, walking, playing, and caring. I am very careful, gentle, and respectful towards all animals big and small. I’m currently free most days of the week. Weekly appointments on Tuesdays would only affect the late morning/afternoon schedule. I do race within a barrel racing circuit that runs on MOST weekends. If I do not have races I will be free. This is only in the summertime. During the fall/winter/partly spring I will be back in university making time a little more sparse. During those times I will be only available on weekends. I have much respect for any environment. IF in your house, please do not be afraid to tell me anything important that I would need to know. I will always be sure to keep your puppies and kitties safe no matter what!! Animal safety is my number one priority.
