About: I've worked in the pet industry for a total of 7 years. I am highly educated in pet nutrition and care from the past 5 years, and in college worked for 2 years in pet boarding. I also help to adopt out foster kittens and played an active part in their care. I've had animals all my life and spent a portion of my time in high school caring for a cat with diabetes. I am familiar with both dog and cat care. I recently moved to Tacoma from Austin, TX and currently have a completely open schedule! I can work with your needs to find a schedule that works for you. I am happy to fulfill any nutritional needs of your pet including feeding a raw or supplement filled diet. I also am happy to help them play/exercise as needed.

About: I have had dogs most of my life. I raised them from puppies and rescued many in my adult life. I have cared for elderly dogs and those with various medical conditions and treatment programs. For the first time in awhile, I am without a dog. At the moment, I don't have the right space. That's why I am happy to love your dog, and support you in whatever routine you adhere to. I currently free lance and work independently remotely so I have flexibility in when and how long I work. I can work around your schedule. I cannot currently board dogs at my place. I can stay at your home which is often best as it is more familiar to your dog. It also allows me to maintain whatever regimen you are currently adhering to.

“Mary is the sweetest!! She’s been caring for my dogs for years before she started Rover. I’ve had 3 dogs that she’s taken care of now. Our dogs and children love her. She’s got the warmest personality that makes animals and kids never want to leave her side.”

“Issana is wonderful with the dogs and they are very happy when she comes over to give them a walk. I'm grateful for her loving attention of our children while we are away for long days at work and travels.”

“Thank you!! The orange cat is Milo and the gray is Shuriken. Going out of town but will reach out next week 7th or 8th to schedule for following week. Thank you again!”

About: I've recently started overnight petting sitting for family members. I enjoy animals, in particular cats and dogs. I'm very patient and good with them. I've watched one dog at a time and up to two dogs and three cats at one time. I'm flexible, reliable and eager to get started. Would love the opportunity to care for your pets! I'm currently not working and soon to be a part time student. My schedule is open and flexible. I see this as an opportunity to earn money for school and I'm motivated to make my schedule work for you. I'm very conscientious when watching others pets. I follow the owners feeding and walking routine and ensure the pets are watched at all times when in the yard. I live in a home with a fenced yard and in a quiet residential neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice for walking dogs and has very little car traffic.

About: Hi there! I’m Heather, and caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. I’ve had the joy of volunteering at two different humane societies, where I worked hands-on with dogs and cats of all temperaments, ages, and needs. Through those experiences, I learned how to provide not just basic care, but real comfort and connection for animals in all situations. To deepen my understanding and provide even better care, I’ve also completed the Fear Free Shelter program for both cats and dogs. This training helps me reduce stress and anxiety in pets, making their time away from you feel safe, calm, and positive. Whether it's a walk around the block, a weekend stay, or simply keeping your pet company while you're away, I always treat them like family. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I pay close attention to individual routines and personalities. One of the biggest benefits I offer is my extremely flexible schedule. I work from home full-time, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your pet the attention and care they deserve. My open availability also makes it easy to accommodate last-minute bookings, special requests, and unique schedules. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I create a calm, low-stress environment with plenty of affection, playtime, and personalized attention. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions closely, and I’m happy to send photo updates so you can feel connected while you're away.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life—everything from energetic puppies to shy senior cats. I currently have a playful lab/pit mix and two cats, so I’m very familiar with managing different personalities and needs. I’ve also worked closely with feral and nervous cats, and I understand how to approach animals with patience and respect. Whether it’s a leash-puller, a cuddle-bug, or a finicky feline, I’m confident and experienced in handling a wide range of behaviors. I’m reliable, flexible, and always happy to follow detailed instructions to keep your pet happy, safe, and comfortable. Let me know what works best for your schedule—I’ll do my best to make it easy for both you and your pet! My husband and I both have flexible schedules—he works security and I work part time at an elementary school—so we’re home often and can adjust our routines to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or cuddle breaks, we love making sure pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. Safety is always my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time, and I’m very mindful about keeping gates, doors, and surroundings safe at all times. Whether pets are in my home or I’m visiting theirs, I keep a close eye on them and follow any care instructions carefully. I treat every pet like family and always make sure they’re comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

About: Hi there! I'm Eglė. Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine and I can confidently say that I genuinely love animals. From cats and dogs to turtles, birds, fishes, hamsters and more, my childhood was filled with furry and feathery companions. This love has only grown stronger and now I'm thrilled to extend my care to your pets. When your pet is in my care, she/he becomes an honorary member of our family. I look forward to meeting your beloved pet and providing her/him with the love and care she/he deserves. As a stay-at-home mom, I have the privilege of a flexible schedule, allowing me to devote time and attention to your furry friend. I'm an early riser and cherish spending mornings outdoors, making me more than happy to take your pet for a refreshing walk or a fun playtime. For play and exercise, I have a spacious backyard where your pet can roam freely. Additionally, my own puppy, cat and my enthusiastic 5-year-old are always eager to make new animal friends, ensuring your pet will never be short on companionship and playmates.

About: I’ve taken care of and gotten to love several dogs and cats and have my own furry friend at home!! I am excited to expand my experience! I am currently available all days of the week, including weekends and holidays! I am home from college and have unlimited time to meet and get to know your pets! When caring for pets in your home, I will be sure to be calm and understanding, making sure your pet feels comfortable in their usual environment. I follow all instructions carefully, and keep the pets routine as consistent as possible.

About: I’ve had cats for over 8 years and currently live with three – each with their own personality, from shy to playful to clingy. I’m very familiar with feline behavior, and I specialize in building trust with anxious or rescued cats. While I’m newer to dogs, I’m gentle, observant, and committed to learning and giving them the best care. I’m home most of the time, and your pets will be treated like my own family. I work remotely and spend most of my day at home with my three cats. I’m always around to check on your pet, keep them company, and make sure they’re feeling safe, calm, and loved. I have a quiet, separate room in my home dedicated to guest pets. If your pet is healthy, free of contagious illnesses, and doesn’t mark indoors, I may gradually introduce them to supervised interaction with my own pets. Safety and comfort always come first, and I take time to ensure every pet feels secure before expanding their space. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I always follow your instructions closely and respect your pet’s routine and space. I aim to keep their environment familiar, calm, and stress-free.
