Bree has been great with Mochi! She is on time, communicative, and patient- learning to use Mochi's e-collar and dominant dog collar. She is also understanding of my anxiety around Mo's selective aggression in our extremely dog-friendly apartment complex. She is super vigilant about other dogs, and attentive to environmental risks on walks. Her attentiveness puts me at ease, and I would recommend her without reservation.

So happy to have a friendly and reliable dog walker in the neighborhood! Rachel was so sweet with my dog, Frances. She sent me the cutests pics that really put my mind at ease while both my husband and I were at work. I'll definitely be using her again.

Olivia has been absolutely amazing with my two dogs. I've got a giant breed pup who isn't the easiest to handle (or the smartest), but Olivia has been great with him. She's also been incredibly professional, prompt, and handled the curveballs pets love to throw (like handling when one dog got an upset stomach and had an accident).

About: Hi there! 🐾 My partner and I both grew up around dogs, have had our own dogs, and are foster dog parents. We'd love the opportunity to cuddle and take the very best care of your pup. Think of us as your dog's godparents! We know how hard it can be to leave your fur babies. We would love to ease that worry for you and send photos/videos and keep you updated throughout the stay! We both work from home so we will stay with your pet. With our flexible schedule, we'll be able to keep to your dog's normal routine and schedule with walks, potty, meal time, and play time! We have crates, beds, and plenty of treats and toys. We also have a huge fenced-in yard where we can play fetch and run around. I believe dogs need to be stimulated mentally and physically. In addition to getting good exercise through daily walks, I also have lots of toys and balls, sniff mats, lick mats, and food puzzles. I also enjoy training dogs so your dog may come home having learned a new trick!

Destinee is everything you could want in a dog walker! Thorough, communicative, enthusiastic, and always right on time. As this was our first time working together, she asked great questions to ensure she was providing the best possible care for my dog. It is clear she takes her job seriously, and she immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my dog’s care in her hands. I look forward to utilizing her services again in the future! Her future in the veterinary field is bright.

About: I’ve owned dogs for the past 10 years. I helped raise my family’s dog and then got a puppy of my own at the end of 2023! I’m a very active person and absolutely love walking and running. Whether you've got an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise or a relaxed dog (or cat!) that enjoys a chill stroll, I'm ready for it! My schedule during the day is very open right now, looking to fill it with lots of walks and games of fetch! My weekends and evenings tend to be a bit busier, but I can accommodate special requests if you let me know in advance! I’m happy to provide what ever care your dog needs in your home. Whether that is walks or simple play and pet time, I’m happy to be there.

About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.

About: I’ve had two of my own dogs and fostered 4 puppies. I’m definitely a hands off kind of sitter, i let the dog come to me on their own terms. I have had high and low energy dogs and enjoy both. I adore dogs and need them in my life but i don’t want to my own right now. Your dog helps me keep my day moving. I have a door to the patio outside of my office/bedroom. The only issue would be dogs who can’t do stairs. We have a pee spot in the patio if it’s really bad weather.

About: My three years of experience have taught me that every dog possesses a unique personality and set of needs. I prioritize your pet's comfort and happiness by treating them as if they were my own. My approach centers on maintaining a safe, stimulating, and consistent routine, whether that involves strict adherence to dietary schedules or managing high-energy play. I hold certifications in Experience with senior pets and Experience with special needs pets. I remain calm during emergencies, prioritizing quick, responsible decision-making while keeping you fully informed. I am punctual, kind, and empathetic, and I truly enjoy helping shy dogs come out of their shells. With my own reliable transportation, I am ready to provide your dog with the dedicated care they deserve. I look forward to treating your beloved companion with the same love and attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to provide reliable, consistent walks and plenty of exercise, attention, and care. Animals have always been a part of my family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. My childhood dog lived to be 15 years old, and I was there to help care for him throughout his life, especially in his senior years when he needed extra support. He was truly my best friend and taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive care. Today, I care for my own dog and cat every day by feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they are happy and healthy. I walk my dog before and after work and throughout the day as needed, and I enjoy spending quality time playing with both my dog and cat. I have a genuine love for animals, but dog walking is something I especially enjoy. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and I will treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets.

About: I have a flexible job schedule being a flight attendant so when I’m home I’m home all day and for days. I spent my whole life with animals in my home, and enjoy spending time with them any chance I get. Since a young age, I spent time volunteering at animal shelters or taking care of friends animals when they were away. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc. I have taken care of dogs over 100 pounds and under ten pounds, making me well rounded and experienced enough to care for animals of all sizes. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! Thank you! Have a great day. I have a flexible work schedule so when I’m home I’m home all day. Sometimes I’m off for days at a time (and gone for days at a time) so it’s perfect for rover. I care for them like they’re my own! I love animals always have but with my job I can’t have a dog so it’s nice to have the opportunity to still have pup time

About: Hello, My name Twanakay T., and I am 32 years old. While I don't currently have any pets of my own besides my fish tank, I grew up in a household with cats and dogs, so I have plenty of experience caring for animals. About: I have been taking care of various sized dogs since I was 10 years old. Growing up my family had multiple Rottweilers in the house and I grew a love for taking care of and spending time with animals. I do not have any of my own and with my work schedule being a lot lighter now I would love to help people out that need it! I currently only work in the evenings for a few hours from my home since I recently moved back to Connecticut from the west coast a few months ago. With that I have a lot of free time on my hands throughout the day and would love to spend some time with dogs again. I personally live in a completely fenced in back yard that they would have access to throughout the day if they are at my house. I am a very active person and love taking dogs for long walks and getting them outside as much as possible.

Kevin is wonderful. Having a difficult dog, can leave you with limited options. Kevin has the patience and kindness that is just what’s needed to get our Brooke leashed up and out for a walk. Once out, I believe she’s well behaved, it’s the initial excitement and new people gets her stirred up. Also, all instructions are followed as I worry if my single dog gets into the area my other 2 dogs there could be an issue. This is the 3rd walk w Kevin. I’m very happy and I can feel confident at work knowing all of our dogs are well cared for… Thanks again Kevin!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
