I ended up needing to extend her stay at least three times, as I remained out of town longer than initially anticipated. She accommodated us every step of the way. Not only that, but she went above and beyond what was expected of her. While we were out of town, a number of packages were delivered to our house that she always brought in, without being asked. She consistently left detailed notes and took great pictures, so I knew my two kitties were in good hands. I have absolutely no complaints. About: As Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." I began pet sitting throughout high school and from there my passion for animals grew. I am currently employed as a veterinary assistant although my ultimate goal is to attend veterinary school one day! I love being able to help families and their fur-babies. I am comfortable with administering medications and injections (such as insulin). I have cared for medically complex senior furry friends. I am currently taking a leave of absence from work and therefore have more free time available to pet sit! Pet sitting for family, friends, and pre-existing clients is currently my full time job until I return to my vet assistant role 😊 When caring for pets in their own homes, I like to keep things very neat and organized. I will typically wash bed sheets or at least remove bed sheets if spending the night. I will also bring my own groceries and supplies with me so as to not disturb the home. I do my best to spend the majority of my day in the home with the pet providing company.

About: I think I’m kind I don’t like to see animals in their kennels. I like them to be able to play and sleep wherever they want in my home. i’m currently thinking about opening up Dog care business and I want more experience. I love being with my dog. So I’d love to help people out with their dogs on the weekends. I know it’s hard for people to find good loving caring people. I have a fenced yard. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
