“Kathy did a wonderful job checking on our kittens while we were on vacation! She went above and beyond, and even swept our floor when she noticed the cats had scattered litter on the floor. We will definitely have her take care of our fur babies again. Thank you, Kathy!”

About: I took care of my sweet black lab Winnie from puppy to senior. I know what it takes to love and care for a fur baby. I crate trained her, she lived in houses, and apartment with me through my 20’s and lived into loving my daughter. Who now wants to be a vet when she grows up. I am a teacher but also have my retired mom with me. We have not dedicated ourselves to a pet since the passing of my senior Labrador. I can commit to walking, playing, and someone being around 24/7 for your fur babies if you choose to board. I can crate your dog and having a large yard and country road for walking. I’m willing to go to dog parks. Whatever your pets needs are I can help with.
“Laura was awesome while taking care of my 3 precious kitties while I was on vacation. She took pics and video and gave me an update every day. My fur babies received excellent care.”

“Lesly was a perfect match for my kitty! She loved to give him affection & play with him daily. We could tell by all the pictures and videos that they became fast friends! We would trust Lesly to stay & visit with our kitty anytime-she is highly recommended”

“My Tortie and my Pittie love her. She’s even gone above and beyond and put together a cat tree that’s been partially finished in my front room for months. Just wish my Maine Coon mix would come out from hiding for her.”

“Alexandria did an awesome job taking care of my little old man while I was away. She sent reporat and pictures and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend her!”

“Hannah was great! She took good care of my five cats and checked on my chickens to make sure they were doing ok. She also watered my garden so my veggies wouldn’t burn up while I was away!”

“Ciara is such a blessing! She was fabulous at communicating and sending pics while we were away from home and couldn’t take our two furbabies with us. She met with us before we left and got familiar with them/us and totally set my mind at ease. I really enjoyed the pics she sent when she came each day to play with them and give them the snacks l left for them. I cannot imagine ever going away again without the peace of mind she gave us! She’s exactly what we were looking for, and are so grateful! Ciara gets a 💯 from the pups and us 🥰”

About: I used to work at a veterinary clinic for around 2 years, and I have been a dog owner for 9 years. I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs and I am very comfortable with them. I am a currently a student but on most days I only have class for around 4 hours. Other than that I am fairly flexible outside of taking care of my own dogs I am happy to take your pet on walks for potty breaks as well as let them in your yard depending on your preference. I also am happy to spend time with your pet in your home during drop ins.
“Lilly watched my cat on a super last minute request! My cats usually very upset when we leave here for more than a day but after arriving home she seemed so happy! Would definitely book again”

About: I’ve been around Dogs and Cats since I was 5, I love being with animals. I have trained many dogs, I will happily help train your dog if asked. I am currently working part time, I don’t have a set schedule. If you give me a 2-3 day heads up I’ll be happy to make my schedule work for you. I have one dog on a fenced yard with 8 acres if you have a high energy dog that loves to play this is perfect for them.
“Jessica was fantastic! We needed someone at the last minute to care for our three dogs with multiple visits each day during our Fourth of July weekend trip. She came by for a meet and greet beforehand, and from the very first visit, she was reliable, caring, and communicative. She took great care of all three of our dogs, always walked them, and sent regular updates with photos after each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Jessica is dependable, professional, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy person!!!”

About: Hello! I’m Kas 🇦🇺 I’m an Australian living in Cleveland, Texas, and I specialize in-home house and companion pet care for families who value trusted presence, consistent routines, and complete peace of mind. Your pets remain relaxed in the comfort of their own home while enjoying the care of one consistent, reliable caregiver. Yes, I come with an Australian accent at no extra charge—your pets may not understand me, but they’ll probably feel like they’re on an episode of Bluey! 🐾 Every household is different, so I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your pets enjoy quiet companionship, regular walks, sun-time, playtime, medication support, or simply having someone nearby while you’re away, for whatever reason, I’ll tailor my care to help them and you feel secure and settled. Ideal for: • Dogs and cats who thrive in their own home • Pets who appreciate and seek regular human companionship • Multi-pet households • Owners traveling for business, medical care or vacation • Families who value one trusted caregiver caring for both their pets and their home. I intentionally accept a limited number of house-sitting bookings and generally care for one household at a time, allowing me to focus on maintaining your pet’s routine and providing attentive, personalised care. During your booking, your home can be my primary base. I like to bring my book, my laptop & handcrafts. While I may occasionally step out for appointments or errands, I aim to keep time away to a minimum and maintain your pet’s normal sleep, play, meal, nap routine as closely as possible. For overnight stays, morning and evening care, and extended daytime presence provide reassurance for both pets and owners. While you’re away, I’m also happy to assist with a few household tasks by prior arrangement, including: • Bringing bins in and out • Collecting mail and parcel deliveries • Watering indoor and outdoor plants • General home security checks/lights on or off to keep the home appearing occupied and reporting any concerns. I can cope with winter weather requirements and manage if some unexpected occurs such as a storm event, branch down in yard, wind damage (unfortunately I know now because I lived it). Clients describe me as calm, trustworthy, attentive, respectful, organized, and the sort of person who genuinely cares for a home as though it were my own. My goal is simple: for you to return home to happy, relaxed pets, looking forward to seeing you, a tidy and well-cared-for home, and the confidence that everything has been looked after while you were away. And if your dog welcomes you home barking with an Australian accent… well, I consider that a job exceptionally well done. I’d love to meet you—and your furry family members! Call me to arrange a meet and greet to check our compatibility. Pet care fits comfortably into my weekly routine, allowing me to provide attentive, personalised care in your pet’s own home. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to accommodate extended house-sitting bookings, overnight stays and care tailored to your pet’s normal routine. During house-sitting bookings, your home becomes my primary base, allowing your pets to enjoy familiar surroundings while receiving calm, consistent companionship. I intentionally accept a limited number of bookings so I can focus my attention on one household at a time and provide dependable, personalized care. I believe pets are happiest when they can remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. You’ll find me to be calm, attentive and respectful of both your pets and your home. I care for every household as though it were my own, taking time to learn each pet’s personality, routines and preferences. I particularly enjoy caring for companion dogs and cats who love being close to people, whether that’s sharing quiet company while I read, relaxing nearby while I work, or spending time outdoors together in the yard or on a walk. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of fur babies since I was 10. Friends and family dogs and cats in all sizes. I’m very patient when it comes to teaching them new tricks, giving them bath, giving them any sort of medications, and being very attentive with them. I am capable of giving them baths, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth! Also lots of potty breaks and plenty of exercise! ! ! ! I have a big backyard for your pups to get their zoomies out. I also enjoy taking them to dog parks or a light walk around the neighborhood to burn some of that energy off.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cut and Shoot
Christopher was excellent. Always came to the house on time, communicated to us if our pets had any issues throughout the night, and sent us pictures every day. He made sure to come by the house twice before we left for vacation so he could take notes on what needed to be done while we were away. If you’re in the Conroe area, I highly recommend Christopher to watch your pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
