“Ciara is such a blessing! She was fabulous at communicating and sending pics while we were away from home and couldn’t take our two furbabies with us. She met with us before we left and got familiar with them/us and totally set my mind at ease. I really enjoyed the pics she sent when she came each day to play with them and give them the snacks l left for them. I cannot imagine ever going away again without the peace of mind she gave us! She’s exactly what we were looking for, and are so grateful! Ciara gets a 💯 from the pups and us 🥰”

“This was my first time ever using a pet sitter and I absolutely love it. Kathy was super sweet, patient and very flexible. Had to add a couple last minute bookings and she was happy to accommodate. Will definitely be using Rover and Kathy again!”

“Alexandria did an awesome job taking care of my little old man while I was away. She sent reporat and pictures and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Growing up in a home with multiple dogs and cats, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior animals who need a little extra patience and attention. Friends and family have consistently trusted me to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or check-ins. I’m comfortable handling a variety of needs, including timely feedings and administering medications when required. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet like they’re part of my own family! I am available for dog walking or check-ins any day of the week and can be as flexible as you and your pet need, adapting to their routine and care requirements. I can crate animals as needed, let them outside for potty breaks, provide feeding, administer medications, and take them on safe, attentive walks based on their routine and needs!

“Bonnie is great!! She does a great job keeping you updated on your pet! Always sends pics! She’s very caring and you just know your pet is in good hands! I highly recommend Bonnie!”

“Makes it so much easier to go on day trips when I have Shania booked to watch Oscar. She's reliable and has helped with drop inside for Kscar twice on short notice. Does a great job.”

“This was our first time booking with Rover in our new neighborhood/ home and we could not have asked for a better experience. Lesly was prompt and sometimes even early for each visit. The dogs absolutely loved her and didn’t want her to leave. She did an amazing job following instructions for medications, feeding schedules etc.. We will definitely be rebooking with Lesly each and every time.”

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies since I was 10. Friends and family dogs and cats in all sizes. I’m very patient when it comes to teaching them new tricks, giving them bath, giving them any sort of medications, and being very attentive with them. I am capable of giving them baths, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth! Also lots of potty breaks and plenty of exercise! ! ! ! I have a big backyard for your pups to get their zoomies out. I also enjoy taking them to dog parks or a light walk around the neighborhood to burn some of that energy off.
“Christyl went above and beyond while caring for my two cats. She was always right on time sent such great check-in updates. I would definitely recommend her to any friend or family looking for pet care!”

“Siena did a wonderful job. Very reliable and she certainly connected with my puppies! I received daily updates and photos. When there was a minor concern, she handled it immediately and with great care. I would definitely hire her again and I know that would make Kaya and Sadie very happy!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I have lots of hands-on experience caring for pets. I’ve grown up with many animals and currently work at a pet daycare and boarding facility, where I care for dogs daily by supervising playtime, feeding, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. I’m confident with different personalities and energy levels and always treat pets like my own. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities. Caring for pets fits naturally into my everyday life. I enjoy spending time with them, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving attention don’t feel like tasks, they’re part of my routine. I make sure each pet gets consistent love and care throughout the day, just like they would with their family I care for pets with the same attention and routine they’re used to at home. Whether I’m in my home or my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their feeding schedule, giving fresh water, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications as instructed. I make sure to maintain a clean, safe environment and give lots of affection so they feel secure while their owners are away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cut and Shoot
Christopher was excellent. Always came to the house on time, communicated to us if our pets had any issues throughout the night, and sent us pictures every day. He made sure to come by the house twice before we left for vacation so he could take notes on what needed to be done while we were away. If you’re in the Conroe area, I highly recommend Christopher to watch your pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
