Pet Sitting in Custer

About: I've been caring for dogs (and the occasional cat) for over 12 years. My clients know that when I'm watching their fur babies they do not have to worry about their care. I walk, play with, take on pup cup runs, clean up if they get dirty, and yes, even pick up poop from the yard if needed. I love dogs and spending time with them. I am currently unemployed so I can devote as much time as needed to caring for your pets. Even when working, I will always make your pets care a priority. I care for my clients pets solely in their home. I keep them on the schedule their owners prefer so they're happy and relaxed while their owner(s) are gone. I am available for dog walking and check-in's as well as in home pet sitting.

“We were camping in Custer for two weeks and needed someone to walk our two dogs while we rode our bikes during the rally. We felt SO lucky to have Kim respond to our request! I set up 13 visits (tbd) months before then firmed up dates and times when we met with Kim. She took such wonderful, loving care of our two ‘mature’ pups. One is on medication and needs frequent potty breaks and Kim arranged her schedule for that. She kept me informed on each visit which definitely eased my mind so I was able to enjoy my day knowing they were in good hands. Thank you, Kim!!”

About: I’ve worked with animals, mostly dogs and horses my whole life. My career as a Ship’s Captain makes it impossible for me to have my own pets, so I care for others’s pets, like they are my own. I am very responsible and resourceful. I will always keep you informed on how your dog is, I’ll send you photos, a LOT! I completely respect owners wishes and direction regarding dog care, diet and exercise. I’m a fit person, and enjoy exercise myself. I enjoy the company of a dog when exercising. Makes us both happy. When I care for a dog in your home, I understand the boundaries. My home is in a beautiful area, with plenty of room. I do have a fenced space. I spend a lot of time with who I’m boarding, since I am on leave when I do pet care. I am happy to take care of multiple pets from the same home. However, I do try to take care of only one family at a time. When I’m caring for your pet, I am on leave, and have very few commitments. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and adjust my routine to suit my clients needs. Being on leave makes it easy. I have a lot of room at my home, no pets of my own, and my neighbors don’t have any either. I have a fenced dog run, but I seldom need to use it, but I know I am glad to have it, just in case.

About: Everyone loves my own dogs and cats and they are always impressed by how friendly and smart they are for how I have trained them. You can train any animal to do anything with love, patience, and the right incentive! I am home all day with my own pets so it's easy for me to care for more. I have the flexibility to be able to leave home almost anytime, if and when needed. I have a fenced-in yard that is secure enough where both my cat and puppy play. My home is pet-proofed but I also have gates that I set up for every door or entryway to each room.

About: I’ve had a dog named jewels who is with my mom for 12 years, I raised her and trained as a young girl and wanted to be a veterinarian, I am now a senior in college for psychology. I work three days a week and am very flexible with my schedule. I can do nights and days as well as later nights and early mornings. I treat animals like there my own children, I have a huge heart and I hope to share this will other pets and animals in my community

Since i was about 8 I have taken care of neighbors and friends pets! I have also spent time studying animals and there psychology and hope to keep learning more! About: I've taken care of pets since I was 7. Feeding, walking bathed them . My bed, furniture are all places for cuddles. I do have my own four legged baby . I work different shifts. I know how it is to need a sitter and not have one. Pet care allows me to be available when most are not. I have a beagle. I live in a mobile home. I currently have 2 kids. I love taking walks or playing fetch tug a war . Able to crate if need be

About: I’ve grown up caring for cats and dogs growing up and have always loved them! I have two years of experience in veterinary medicine and in animal care. I’m currently working a part time job in the mornings, so I am available anytime from 1 pm to anytime on any day. I am also willing to be flexible with mornings! I have a fenced in yard and am able take animals outside for potty breaks whenever needed. I am also able to house them inside for any amount of time needed.

About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. My days are generally grouped together but letting pets out or walking are both doable! I can do overnights and watch for periods of time it will just depend on my schedule. I always want to respect the animal and let them come to me to meet and get to know me first. I love to play fetch or with whatever toys they like.

About: I have had a dog of my own since I could remember, and since getting out on my own I’ve realized how scary it is to trust someone with my animals because I’m always scared they won’t be treated the same as how I treat them therefore I decided I wanted to help other people just like me! I work from home and love to be in the comfort of my own home so I’m always home to be with your fur baby. I have a large fenced in yard that has been escape proofed due to my 2 babies that love to run. I have many many years of relevant experience.
