About: I'm an active gal who loves the companionship of a pooch while out and about. I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). I'll be attentive to the needs of your dog, making sure they get plenty of activity, are well hydrated, and fed appropriately. While I don't have a dog of my own currently, I was a dog walker when I lived in New York City and I volunteered for two years with Border Paws Rescue in Rapid City caring for 5 - 10 pups for their pre-bedtime outings. I'm comfortable working with and providing a safe environment for the most goofy and social as well as the most solo and independent pups. I'm happy to accommodate any special needs you and your pup may have. I'm prompt and reliable. I hope to meet you and your pup soon! I work full time, but have flexibility to do bathroom breaks over lunch for kiddos that need more frequent outings. I can take pups on walks in the morning or evening depending on their activity needs. I have a small fenced in yard that is available for outside hangs. I am patient and kind and love to meet the needs of each pup where they are at. I have volunteered in a rescue and am comfortable around dogs of different temperaments.

About: I’ve worked with animals, mostly dogs and horses my whole life. My career as a Ship’s Captain makes it impossible for me to have my own pets, so I care for others’s pets, like they are my own. I am very responsible and resourceful. I will always keep you informed on how your dog is, I’ll send you photos, a LOT! I completely respect owners wishes and direction regarding dog care, diet and exercise. I’m a fit person, and enjoy exercise myself. I enjoy the company of a dog when exercising. Makes us both happy. When I care for a dog in your home, I understand the boundaries. My home is in a beautiful area, with plenty of room. I do have a fenced space. I spend a lot of time with who I’m boarding, since I am on leave when I do pet care. I am happy to take care of multiple pets from the same home. However, I do try to take care of only one family at a time. When I’m caring for your pet, I am on leave, and have very few commitments. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and adjust my routine to suit my clients needs. Being on leave makes it easy. I have a lot of room at my home, no pets of my own, and my neighbors don’t have any either. I have a fenced dog run, but I seldom need to use it, but I know I am glad to have it, just in case.

I have personally owned cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, geckos, and birds. A little about me: I am active and love to go for walks here in Rapid City. If I’m at a party, I’m the person who is hanging out in the kitchen with the cat or the doggo. 💕 I’m currently working at home full time on my computer, in an apartment in downtown Rapid City - able to take short breaks throughout the day. My office job workday ends at 3:30pm MT then I am free to give special 1-1 time or walks. I am in a large modern apartment with big windows, lots of space to play, snooze, or just hang out with me while I work on my computer. I do not have any children or pets in my home. I am close to the Hotel Alex Johnson and the Hyatt Place hotel.

About: Hi there! I have many years of pet care experience, including puppy training from 8 weeks to one year old (all positive reinforcement), cat sitting and training, house plants, rodents, reptiles, and birds. I have dog and cat sit professionally for friends and clients for several years. As well as informal dog and cat training experience. Additionally, I was a volunteer at a raptor rehabilitation center for 3 years and have varied bird experience. I specialize in house sitting. When able I will travel distance from my home to yours for a fee to cover time and gas. I've had several extended over 2 week house sitting jobs which have included multiple creatures *cats dogs and plants!) to care for. I also have experience with horses, reptiles, and birds in case your fur babies are maybe less furry! My day job is wildland firefighting so I am infrequently available during the summer and often out of cell service. However, if I can make an impromptu sit work I will! I'm most available for last minute and short term pet or house sitting, just depends on work so please just ask to see if I'm available. However I'd love to take your pups for regular walks (or runs) if I can! Other than as needed services, like walking, I can care for your pets in your home where they are most comfortable. Either house-sitting if you are comfortable with that, or checking on them regularly and ensuring they are fed, walked, and loved in a way that fits their comfortability.

About: I have extensive experience in animal care, having grown up rehabilitating, caring for, and training a wide range of animals, from small squirrels to large horses. With several years of experience as a veterinary technician, I am deeply passionate about animal welfare. Over the past several years, I have also provided pet sitting services, caring for both young and elderly animals, as well as those with special needs. I am highly comfortable and confident in administering medications as needed as well as adhering to any specific dietary guidelines. I am a stay at home mom to my 11 month old son, so I have lots of time in my schedule to keep a close eye on your pet and give them as much attention as possible while you’re away! I have a fenced back yard which is perfect for playtime or just to hang out and get some sun! My own dog loves to run around up and down the hill in our yard! I also have a large dog kennel in case that is at all needed.
