âPeyton is great! My cats were totally comfortable with her right away. She was timely and attentive. Her communication was excellent and made me feel so confident about the care my pets would receive with her! I look forward to booking with her again next time I am in need!â

âBecca is an absolute angel and really went above and beyond this visit!! She brought in packages as well as put them away where my silly cats could not eat the cardboard, and took care of a mess that was 100% not her fault or responsibility. Becca was flexible and accommodating when my fur babies were being so naughty đŤŁâ

âJo Anna was amazing with Siggy. Super grateful she was able to check on her while I traveled for work. She sent me photos and updates to help me feel reassured.â

âMia came to help care for my cat and dog for a few days while I recovered after a short hospital stay. She was luckily available on rather short notice which was much appreciated. She did a great job and I will definitely call on her again!â

About: I have years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. As an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, Iâve gained valuable hands-on experience through shadowing and internships at veterinary clinics, learning to handle animals safely and confidently. In addition to my academic and professional background, Iâve been caring for pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and family for many years, from walking energetic dogs to feeding cats and small animals. Iâm comfortable working with puppies, senior pets, and those with unique personalities or special needs, and I always provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care for every pet I meet. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! Although I have classes during the day as an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, I have several breaks between classes that give me time to stop by for walks or drop-in visits. I love spending that time with animalsâitâs a great way to take a break from studying and do something meaningful. Iâm also available most mornings, evenings, and weekends, so I can provide flexible care that fits your petâs routine and ensures theyâre always well looked after. When caring for pets in my clientsâ homes, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. I take the time to learn each petâs routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel secure and cared for while youâre away. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, keep walk routes safe and familiar, and always use leashes and harnesses appropriately. During drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining a calm, positive environmentâproviding fresh water, feeding according to your schedule, cleaning up as needed, and giving plenty of playtime or cuddles. My goal is to ensure every pet feels happy, loved, and stress free until you return.
âBrooke has watched our kitty a couple of times and has done amazing each time! She is very accommodating of anything that is asked and communicates very well. River always seems happy after Brooke watches her!â

About: Growing up weâve always had dogs of all ages, so I am skilled at caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I have also had experience taking care of neighborsâ dogs as well while they were away. Currently I am a cat mom, so not only am I capable of caring for cats, but I also have a deep understanding of the love, worry, and responsibility that pet owners experience. All of this being said, I can assure you that your pets will be in good hands when I am around! I currently have a part time internship with a flexible schedule, so I am well equipped to tend to your pets needs. However, I am unavailable most weekends due to family caregiving duties out of town. Since I am a cat mom, Iâm not entirely comfortable allowing other animals in my home. However, I am more than willing to go to clientsâ homes to feed, walk, let outside, give medicine, cuddle, or play with pets.
âShe was fantastic! Timely replies and so many pictures! I could tell my dogs were always happy to see her and even after I came back, they were still looking for her and expecting her to come hang out with them. I cannot recommend her enough! If I need to book through Rover again, I will always see if Cora is available!â

I have a horse here in Brookings and help out with barn cats when I can. I'm a full-time college student, so I have a weird schedule with breaks within the day. âAbby was amazing with our cats! She went above and beyond with taking care of them and sending photos and updates. Our female cat, Sissy, is usually afraid of the pet sitters, but Abby is the first pet sitter that Sissy has allowed to pet her. We will definitely be re-booking with Abby, and highly recommend her.â
