About: I have years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. As an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through shadowing and internships at veterinary clinics, learning to handle animals safely and confidently. In addition to my academic and professional background, I’ve been caring for pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and family for many years, from walking energetic dogs to feeding cats and small animals. I’m comfortable working with puppies, senior pets, and those with unique personalities or special needs, and I always provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care for every pet I meet. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! Although I have classes during the day as an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, I have several breaks between classes that give me time to stop by for walks or drop-in visits. I’m also available most mornings, evenings, and weekends, so I can provide flexible care that fits your pet’s routine and ensures they’re always well looked after. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, keep walk routes safe and familiar, and always use leashes and harnesses appropriately. During drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining a calm, positive environment—providing fresh water, feeding according to your schedule, cleaning up as needed, and giving plenty of playtime or cuddles. My goal is to ensure every pet feels happy, loved, and stress free until you return.

About: Growing up we’ve always had dogs of all ages, so I am skilled at caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I have also had experience taking care of neighbors’ dogs as well while they were away. Currently I am a cat mom, so not only am I capable of caring for cats, but I also have a deep understanding of the love, worry, and responsibility that pet owners experience. All of this being said, I can assure you that your pets will be in good hands when I am around! I currently have a part time internship with a flexible schedule, so I am well equipped to tend to your pets needs. However, I am unavailable most weekends due to family caregiving duties out of town. Since I am a cat mom, I’m not entirely comfortable allowing other animals in my home. However, I am more than willing to go to clients’ homes to feed, walk, let outside, give medicine, cuddle, or play with pets.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was old enough to walk. I have experience with a wide range of animals. I love every critter big or small and love caring for them. I am no stranger to caring for senior, sick, and/or injured animals. I would love to put your mind at ease with great pet care! I am a Sophomore college student in Brookings. I do have to attend classes daily but my schedule is flexible and I can make most things work. I would love to work it out to be able to care for your animals! About: I'm a sophomore at South Dakota State University. I've had dogs my whole life, and we now have a cat at home along with our two dogs. I work at a pet store in my hometown and volunteer with the Sioux Falls Humane Society for Rescue Dog Recess when I can. I love animals and am missing my pets at home. I have a horse here in Brookings and help out with barn cats when I can. I'm a full-time college student, so I have a weird schedule with breaks within the day. Thursdays are my open days, with an 8 am class and a break until 3:30 pm, but I do have breaks in between almost all my classes! I get done with classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:50 pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:45 pm. I treat all pets like my own! I love dogs and cats and believe they deserve nothing but the best. I will go above and beyond to ensure your pet is cared for.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was young both domestic and street dogs. My neighbors, and family have relied on me to walk, feed their pets. I go above because I love spending time with them as they are our extended family. I am currently working from home, with flexible work schedule. I can be contacted last minute for dog or cat sitting or walking. I am just a phone call away: My apartment is clean and spacious. About: I have had a dog in my home my whole life. I love animals and believe they are part of the family. I have dog-sat multiple times and am very comfortable with small dogs all the way to larger and more energetic dogs. I am currently working 30 hours a week, so will have time when schedules align to check up on your pet and give exceptional care. I have a large break in the middle of the day so can always check up on your pet during work hours. Pet’s safety is very important. Whether it is on a walk or in your home I will always respect your wishes and requests on how to best care for your pet.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals of all kinds since I was just a tot at 4 years old. I have pets of my own, one of which requires twice daily medication, so I am well versed and experienced in medication administration. I currently hold a full time job, that keeps me busy from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday. Outside of those hours I love to spend time with my own pets and would love to expand that to spending time with even more furry friends! I always like to make sure my home is safe and “pet proof,” never leaving out any plants, cleaners, food, or anything that may harm pets in any way. Ensuring they eat their meals and get any needed medication in a timely matter is vital to me.

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs since I was little. I have watched my neighbors cat making sure the litter box is cleaned and she was feed. I have done that with another cat as well as chicks. I have also house sit / watch a Great Dane before who had separation anxiety made sure him and his cat friends were feed and taken care of. I work part time and will be able to provide all the care, live and attention needed for your pets care wether it’s walks check ins or house sittings. I will always keep the house as found when I am checking in on the pets as well as insuring if any messes by and animal or me happen while I’m around it will be cleaned.

About: Have been around dogs my whole life. Have taken care of my parent’s dog for 5 years. I have experience administering medications as well as assisting dogs with limited mobility. I currently work part time, but my schedule is flexible for both weekdays and weekends. I can walk your dogs, do drop in visits, or overnight stays. I can watch your dogs at your home where they can be comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I will give them plenty of love and attention.
