“When our regular dog-sitter couldn't help us out, we weren't sure what to do. Finding Regan on Rover was a gift. Our dog, Maggie, was comfortable and spoiled while spending the weekend with Regan. She treated our Maggie like one of her own. I will definitely be sending Maggie to stay with her again.”

“Becca is an absolute angel and really went above and beyond this visit!! She brought in packages as well as put them away where my silly cats could not eat the cardboard, and took care of a mess that was 100% not her fault or responsibility. Becca was flexible and accommodating when my fur babies were being so naughty 🫣”
“So responsive, my cats absolutely loved her! She always made 100% sure she could correctly administer my boy’s medication beforehand to ensure the best possible care for him.”
“Abby was awesome! She took time to come meet our cats before hand and was super polite! She sent plenty of pictures and made sure to take notes about what they did! Would definitely use her again!”

About: Growing up we’ve always had dogs of all ages, so I am skilled at caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I have also had experience taking care of neighbors’ dogs as well while they were away. Currently I am a cat mom, so not only am I capable of caring for cats, but I also have a deep understanding of the love, worry, and responsibility that pet owners experience. All of this being said, I can assure you that your pets will be in good hands when I am around! I currently have a part time internship with a flexible schedule, so I am well equipped to tend to your pets needs. However, I am unavailable most weekends due to family caregiving duties out of town. Since I am a cat mom, I’m not entirely comfortable allowing other animals in my home. However, I am more than willing to go to clients’ homes to feed, walk, let outside, give medicine, cuddle, or play with pets.
About: I have years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. As an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through shadowing and internships at veterinary clinics, learning to handle animals safely and confidently. In addition to my academic and professional background, I’ve been caring for pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and family for many years, from walking energetic dogs to feeding cats and small animals. I’m comfortable working with puppies, senior pets, and those with unique personalities or special needs, and I always provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care for every pet I meet. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine! Although I have classes during the day as an Animal Science major on the Pre-Veterinary track, I have several breaks between classes that give me time to stop by for walks or drop-in visits. I love spending that time with animals—it’s a great way to take a break from studying and do something meaningful. I’m also available most mornings, evenings, and weekends, so I can provide flexible care that fits your pet’s routine and ensures they’re always well looked after. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, keep walk routes safe and familiar, and always use leashes and harnesses appropriately. During drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining a calm, positive environment—providing fresh water, feeding according to your schedule, cleaning up as needed, and giving plenty of playtime or cuddles. My goal is to ensure every pet feels happy, loved, and stress free until you return.
“Samantha took great care of my two cats who are not very used to strangers. They were well cared for and were very content when I returned. Absolutely zero complaints and I would highly recommend Samantha.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and genuinely love spending time with them. I grew up caring for my black lab from age six until eighteen, feeding, walking, playing fetch, and keeping him on a daily routine. Over the years I also had a chocolate lab and now have a three year old yellow lab back home. I’ve spent time around golden retrievers, French bulldogs, labs, and doodles, and feel comfortable with most breeds and personalities. I’ve also dog sat my siblings’ puppies for days at a time - a French bulldog and a golden retriever - I handled feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the night. As a college student who misses her own dog, I’m hoping to hang out with some pups for fun and give them the same care, attention, and affection I give my own. I’m currently a college student and have many breaks during the day to go care for dogs whether it’s playing for a few hours or just a quick walk and potty break! I will respect your home and follow all rules you have. Most importantly I want to make sure your dog is taken care of however you need!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I connect with them easily and love caring for them like family. I dog sit year round for multiple families in my neighborhood. I also love to donate my time to the shelter and support the homeless animals who are just wanting to be loved! I’m patient, responsible, and full of positive energy. Giving animals care brings me joy! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine—I have a high-energy, high-maintenance Border Collie, so I’m used to staying active, alert, and on a consistent schedule. My school and work revolve around her needs, and I genuinely enjoy the responsibility. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s a part of who I am. When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I follow the owner’s instructions carefully to ensure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their usual routine, from feeding and walks to any special needs like medications or training. I take the time to build trust and give them attention, play, and care beyond the basics. I treat every animal like my own, always putting their well-being first.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was at least 10. I took an interest into animals since I was little, hence my veterinary career path focus. I would feed, bathe, walk, and do general care. Now I have 3 large breed dogs. I find ways to keep them healthy through different methods of exercise and finding a good diet for them. Additionally, I have worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 years and received my bachelors degree in animal science in that time. I am currently working full time and I am a graduate of SDSU. The best time that would work for me is the breaks on my days off. I have a 6-foot tall privacy fence. I always keep other dogs that aren’t mine on leashes and away from other dogs unless owners say it is okay. I always will asses the dogs behavior myself if I feel they may be uncomfortable or in danger to themselves or other dogs and people.

About: Spending years helping out at my family’s dog kennel and hunt club I have gained hands on experience of dog handling, behavioral training, obedience, hunt test training, and in depth care. I am a college student at South Dakota State University so day to day my schedule varies. I am open to all days and weekends working around my classes. Safety is my number one priority. Making sure the animals are safe and well cared for is a must. Being respectful to the clients and their home is a must as well.
About: As far back as I can remember, my family always had at least one dog/cat, each one of them holding a special place in my heart. I, now, am a proud dog parent of two Blue Heelers, Izzy and Brutus. I love every kind of dog and cat. I have experience with elder dog care and puppy care. I have a job where I work Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. All 12 hour days. So, I would be completely booked up on those days. The other days I would be incredibly happy to spend time with your little loved one! I would make sure to have clear and open conversations with you about your animals throughout the day/night. I can give updates on when they go to the bathroom. I can, also, send pictures of them.
