“Kiera did a wonderful job housesitting and petsitting Gia and Ferris while we were on a two week trip abroad. She kept them on their schedules and provided lots of pictures and feedback. Highly recommend and we won’t hesitate to hire her for our next trip.”

“Kelly was awesome! This was our first time trying a house sitter while we were gone and she made us feel at ease. Our dogs are on the nervous side and then seemed to warm up to her, which made us feel confident leaving them in her care. She was also really flexible, especially when our flight got delayed and we asked if she could stay a little longer she didn't hesitate to help us out and stay. Will definitely use Kelly again!”

“Becca has a real gift of caring for dogs! My Stella is 14 years old and only met Becca once. Becca won her over and I would use Becca again. She also sent pictures which gave me peace of mind while we were gone.”

“Lauren is trustworthy and our pups loved her. She went the extra mile to care for our Lenny Kravitz and David Bowie (Chihuahua & Chiweenie). They warmed right up to her and connected immediately. We cannot say enough about Lauren! She's impeccable; book her to care for your babies.”

“Lexi was great!! She was very communicable with everything they did throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. She offered to take him to her house to play with her dogs and he had a blast, definitely made it easier to leave him knowing he was having so much fun. Would recommend!!”

“For the first time ever I was able to leave on vacation and not worry about if my animals were taken care of. Kylie has a wide range of animal experience which helps me out with my farm. She sent photos of the animals regularly, which I loved.”

About: I have friends and family that trust me to watch and house their dogs and I have helped raise a dog when I lived at my parent’s house. I am off on weekends and I would have time to properly exercise and care for your pet. I am into fitness and nutrition and I would be a great fit for someone that has a pet that needs exercising. I have a large townhome that is roomy and comfortable. I have plenty of room to crate your pet if that is what is preferred. I would love to include your dog on my walks and hikes in and around the neighborhood and Cape Fear area.

“Brittany was an excellent pet sitter for my dog while I was in Europe two weeks. She is reliable, neat and very kind. She left my house spotless and took great care of my dog( as reported by my neighbor). Teddy enjoyed his time with her and I am sure that your pet will too!”

About: I didn't have dogs growing up but I always pet-sat for friends and family. I have dog-sat, walked, and groomed dogs of all sizes. I also grew up riding horses so I have a ton of experience handling dogs and other animals together. My first dog was a 100 pound German shepherd/ Rottweiler mix who was my heart and soul. We lived with a big Rottweiler for a few years so I got very comfortable handling multiple large dogs on my own. Then when I got married my ex husband and I had my old dog, two pit bulls, and a cattle dog/ jack russel mix. I was there sole care taker and they taught me so much. I got divorced and it was just me and my shepherd, who sadly passed away in 2022. Fast forward to now and I have a 5 year old son and a Dalmatian/ terrier mix. We treat her as well as we treat my little boy. We recently (well in the last year) added a young female foxhound to the family. She is SO sweet and silky and has been the best addition to our mix! The past ten or so years have given me so much experience caring for multiple dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperments. I’m just super passionate about giving my animals and those I care for the absolute best care I can. It’s also given me experience administering medication, giving shots, walking multiple dogs at a time, feeding special individualized diets, taking care of a special needs dog, etc. I’m just a true animal lover :) I am currently not working so my schedule is incredibly flexible to meet your pets needs around the clock. I wake up early, let the dogs out in the backyard, feed them, let them out again. They usually play outside for a little bit before coming inside to nap. When my husband gets home we take them on walks, play in the yard, or go walk our favorite trail. Then we go home, feed dinner, and relax until bed time! At home my dog is walked Atleast three times a day, and one of those walks is always somewhere different- the beach, the park, the cross city trails, etc. When we’re hanging at home we provide lots of enrichment activities, playtime with toys, and also enjoy just snuggling on the couch. While your dog is in my care they will receive the same. We feed our dog a special diet and she requires daily allergy medication so meeting your dogs dietary and medication needs is no issue. Our dog is allowed on furniture, so as long as it is okay with you we have no problem with your pup joining us on the couch or in our bed. However if they aren’t allowed, we have multiple dog beds in each room so they can still be comfortable while we’re being lazy. Although we no longer have a fenced yard, our yard is pretty big and we take our dog out on the long lead often to sniff and play so your dog will receive lots of outside time as well.

“Ian was great! He took care of Sage and my home while I was away. My home was clean and my dog was happy when I got home. I will definitely use him again!”

“Cosette was great. Very accommodating, and kept in touch throughout the whole week she had to dogs. Highly recommend”

“Drake was an amazing sitter! He was very communicative, and sent lots of pictures and videos. He actually spent a lot of time with Gerald and giving him love instead of just being in the house with him. We could see in the pictures that Gerald was very comfortable and happy with Drake. We will ABSOLUTELY be calling Drake in the future!”

“Spicer was an absolute blessing! Had a last minute request to watch our Rottie Louie. She came for a meet and greet and it was an instant connection! She was on time and sent pictures of his day 😊 I am truly grateful and definitely recommend booking with her! Thank you!!!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little. I have always had dogs in my house and outside of my house. I also have experience dog walking for others. I am a full time student, so talking about schedule will be necessary, but I want to be able to help out as much as possible! I would prefer to come to your house, as I live in an apartment. I am more than willing to do whatever is needed to take care of your fur baby

“Kassandra was a perfect River experience. We needed someone to watch our pups over New Years. We messaged her on short notice and she juggled her schedule around to accommodate! She took great care of our two big dogs (one dog aggressive and one with separation anxiety) and if I’m being honest left the house in better condition than we left it. We hope to have Kassandra watch our dogs again in the future and would recommend anyone else use her too.”
