Rowan came every day, stayed 1 hour, and gave us great updates on how Maggie was doing - with a pic or two every time. She showed great judgment about not taking Maggie outside the first couple of days but then doing it for the later days, always at the start of her visit, so she could lure Maggie back in with food if needed. (I had given Rowan the choice of letting Maggie out to get fresh air or just stay in with her.) Rowan was terrific, very responsible. We'd have her again in a heartbeat.”

About: I grew up with plenty of dogs in my family, and I was usually the designated dog sitter. All of my family and friends dogs grew up with me so I've delt with puppies and older dogs alike. I have watched dogs for months at a time and have enjoyed every last minute. I work a 9am-5pm from Mon-Fri so I am mostly busy then. I usually work from home the second half of the week so there is some flexibility on those days. But I have a completely open schedule Saturday and Sunday. My complex has multiple large fenced grass areas. I also love going on walks, so I am definitely willing to take them to parks. I own extra leashes, footies, beds, treats and other doggie essentials. If there are any concerns, I am willing to accommodate for dog.

About: I’ve been a cat owner for the last 4.5 years, after foster failing and adopting my current cat Mimi. I’ve had experience taking care of more vulnerable cats (traumatized, senior cats) and a couple of dogs through fostering as well. I mostly work from home, so I have flexibility during the week to check-in, feed, and play with pets and whenever I’m available during weekends. I’m happy to take any requests around feeding, play, clean up to make your pet feel comfortable. I personally love seeing pictures of my cat when I’m away so I will provide live updates so you know your pet is safe.

About: Hi! I grew up with dogs and have been a walker for 2 years getting to know all breeds, pups, older dogs, and cats! I love walking/running with dogs, and I am a Cornell student looking to make some furry friends over the summer. I am available Thursday-Sunday anytime for walks/sittings/boardings, as well as M-W after 6pm. I will do any length of walk and as many dogs as needed:) I play with them and their toys, take them for walks, to the park if the pet parent allows/wishes, and just keep them company and occupied while the pet parent is away:)

I take half of my classes online, so I can maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate all of your pets needs! I am available Monday through Sunday and most holidays. With my class schedule, I am available most of the day, so your pup will not go longer that 1-2 hours by themselves. I currently have two cats of my own, Wallace and Harvey. Harvey is quite old, and Wallace is three, but they are both have very laid back temperaments and are very comfortable around dogs. I am a homeowner, so you do not have to worry about your dog being cooped up all day. Being raised with lots of pets, your pup is more than welcome to have free roam of the house. I am a big believer in keeping dogs active, so I will always make walks and dog-park visits a priority.
