About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently have two dogs and understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.
About: I have three of my own pups and 2 cats, and if my husband would let me have more I would! We don’t deserve animals! They are literally the best thing! I hope I can love your animals as much as I love mine while you are away! My boys love new friends and would be so excited to meet your fur babies. I work full time, but only work 8 hour shifts with some remote days. If your pets do well with other pets and hanging out for a few hours alone, I’ve got you covered! Jessica was very communicative and let us know about any issues such as the automatic cat feeder was unplugged. She also sent us pictures and videos and it was obvious that our kitties felt comfortable around her. She seems quite experienced and we definitely will try to book Jessica again in the future!
Melody and Vicky came to our home so we could introduced our dog to them. Our dog usually takes days to trust new people. However, Bentley almost immediately warmed up to them both. 🤯 While we were traveling we received several pictures. We especially love the one of Bentley sleeping in their laps. My wife and I will definitely use Melody and Vicky in the future. We highly recommend these two dog lovers!
Absolutely an above and beyond sitter; she dog sat one of our pups that has behavioral health issues from prior abuse. I was worried all weekend how his care would be, but she handled this job with such ease. My dog liked her off the bat, which is a bit uncommon for him. She pet him, played with him, refilled his food and ensured water was there everyday. She even assisted in cleaning one plastic bottles that my dog got into when I was gone, she was so kind and respectful to the home. On top of her amazing work and compassion, she also gifted my doggie a bed, since he loves to destroy the many we buy him. Along with her kind gestures, she also provided pictures of my dog during her stay over with him. Overall she is an amazing sitter and I will love to have her again. I definitely look forward to booking her again for any future dog sitting.
Chynna was amazing with our two pups! One of them is on a little more on guard with people he doesn’t know and Chynna was so patient with him! They became best buds by the end of our trip. Super appreciate all the patience and helping to clean up when our dog got a little too excited. Would definitely book again!
Kelli did an excellent job every day! She sent daily photos, and my cats were relaxed and happy. She spent time with them. When I returned, they were at peace! The cat room was clean, and they were well-fed. I definitely will hire Kelli from now on. I have a possible upcoming weekend trip in October and November. I will be traveling in January and during spring break. For sure, I will be hiring Kelli next June/July/Aug 2026, when I go to Japan for three months for a class and a pilgrimage.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the care our dogs received while we were away! From the very start, it was clear that Meskerem truly loves animals and understands how to connect with them on an individual level. One of our dogs—a senior corgi-beagle mix—is very slow to warm up to new people and requires a lot of patience, gentleness, and understanding. Meskerem gave him just that, never rushing him and always respecting his boundaries, which earned her trust in a way that truly warmed my heart. Throughout our trip, we received thoughtful updates and photos that clearly showed how comfortable and well-cared-for all our fur babies were. It brought such peace of mind knowing they were not only being looked after, but loved. Meskerem went above and beyond with the little things—sticking to their routines, paying attention to their moods, and even picking up on quirks that only someone who truly cares would notice. We came home to happy, relaxed pups—and that says everything. I’m so grateful to have found someone who cares for our dogs as if they were her own. We’ll absolutely be booking with Meskerem again.
