About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. Feel free to send me a message about scheduling questions to see if we can work something out! :) I only offer dog sitting in your home because I’ve got too many animals at my house and your dog or cat’s safety is my biggest priority. I am diligent when it comes to following instructions (with medications, food allergies, special needs) as well as with making sure your home is all locked up when I leave.

About: I have care experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. I have taught my birds to talk and whistle, mice to jump through hoops, and I have trained my dog in basic tricks. I genuinely care for and loveeeee animals and will give your pet(s) my undivided attention when caring for them!!! I am a full time college student so I won’t be available 24/7, but I will make sure to set aside time for your pet! I don’t offer services in my own home at this moment, but when caring for pets in my clients home I make sure to respect and clean up my surroundings and their animals space.

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

About: I have lots of experience with house sitting and dog care. I would love to help you with other duties, including taking in mail, watering plants, keeping the place clean and tidy, etc. I have been the go-to-girl to dog sit and dog walk for all my friends, family, and neighbors since high school. I absolutely love to get to hangout with dogs and get my steps in! It would be a privilege to care for your precious pups! I am a doctor of physical therapy student at the KU Med Center. I have a 10 year old pug of my own named Beatrix, she is precious! I am never away from Bea for more than 5 hours at a time…but it usually is not that long. I am a homebody! And I dont mind at all to structure my schedule around caring for her, play and potty breaks, and three 30min walks/day. During the 2 days/week that I am in class from 8-5, I run home during lunch to take her out. I would do the same with your dogs as well! I have a flexible schedule that can allow me to work around your pups usual routine. I am able to take your dog out in your backyard or on a walk for potty breaks as often as needed. If I am house sitting for you, I would need to bring my 10 year old pug Beatrix to stay as well. She is easygoing and gets along great with other dogs. When I need dog care, I use Rover too! So Bea has spent a lot of time with new dogs in new homes. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, well cared for, and happy while in the care of someone new.

About: Hey there! I've been volunteering at animal shelters since I was 10 years old and have therefore trained and taken care of every kind of dog and cat you can think of. I stopped volunteering because I would get so attached to all the animals I raised and then they would get adopted - great for them, hard for my heart. I have a deep love for animals & for exercise but a limited amount of house 😂 so I thought helping others take care of their animals would scratch my itch. And I'm trying to find ways to pay down the debt quickly younger me created when I was "finding myself"🙄 so this seemed like a fun way to do it. Choose me if you want someone who will ~Love your pet as hard as you ~Provide a little training while they're with me. Even on small things like how to walk better on a leash. ~Give you updates like pics and videos so you can see what they're up to and be at ease. ~Upon request make them some homemade treats which my 2 doggos love dearly. I am currently a full time stay at home mom and small business owner so my schedule is very flexible. I need a short notice I just fit into whatever your routine is and add in extra belly rubs and toys to make it a chill experience for your pets.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered in the past, and continue to care for my friend’s pets while they are away. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better! About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. Had my first puppy when I was 3 years old and have had one ever since. I have taken a small amount of courses on training puppies as well. Great with training them on the leash! I grew up with dogs my whole life. I work from home a lot so I can be available most days if needed. I travel a lot so I understand you want to leave your pup with someone you trust. That’s why I signed up! I live in a two bedroom apartment with no roommates. It’s in a great neighborhood with a lot of parks and dog parks. I have one dog, Mabel. She is just under 2yrs old and LOVES to play with other dogs. About: I take caring for anyones best friend very seriously and have a lot of experience around different breeds. I think that each dog has individual traits that make them so special when you get to know them. I have a dog and cat at home and frequently take are of other pets because I enjoy it. I currently own my own floral studio so my hours are flexible. I am also a KC native so navigating neighborhoods and such aren’t usually a problem. For dog walking, I believe establishing trust and getting to know your dog’s personality is super important. Knowing how they react in certain situations will better allow me to care for your pet.
