“Stephanie and her family are the BEST! We feel so comfortable to leave our dog with her. We are very picky and over protective dog owners. We are thankful to have found Stephanie and plan to use her whenever we travel❤️”

“Candace was simply amazing with Ziva. I really appreciated her patience as Ziva adjusted to being with her for the first time. She sent me text messages, videos and pictures of their walks which put me at ease as I was working in the area for two days. It was also Ziva’s first time seeing horses and chickens on the farm. Ziva will definitely be staying with Candace again in the future.”

“Brenda is so good with my puppy scout. She always gives him personal attention and make sure that he is safe and comfortable when I am away. I will continue to have scout stay with her when I am gone for this reason.”

“Charlene took great care of our baby Filson! Charlene was so kind to send us pictures and videos every day while we were gone. She has a huge heart for animals and we knew our pup was in great hands the whole time. Thank you Charlene!”

“Melissa was great ! She offered a meet and greet prior to Nova coming to stay with her which allowed Nova to meet her and get acquainted with where she would be staying ! Melissa provided great communication and sent multiple photos and videos of Nova throughout the day. She kept my mind at ease regarding Nova while I was out of town . Would 10000% recommend as she was great and provided a spacious house and yard for Nova to play and roam!”

“Our dog felt right at home with Scott. We will be back”

“Jill was fantastic! She was able to help us in a unique situation and kept our rescue safe healthy and happy. She was great at communicating and sent us updates while we were away. Would book her again”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I’ll make sure they’re happy, well cared for, and keep you updated with plenty of pictures to give you peace of mind! I’m currently staying home with my babies so I will have plenty of time to love yours! Don’t be afraid to ask about my schedule! I have a full fenced in yard. Two of my dogs are inside. One roams freely during the day with a doggy door to the outside fenced in yard. One is kenneled during the day. Both are kenneled at night. One is outside full time (unless it’s freezing cold and I have to force him inside). I also have one large kennel outside where my foster dog stays most of the time. All dogs are up to date on vaccines and receive monthly flea tick and heart guard meds. As for your home, I’m up for a meet and greet depending on what you need!

“Cliffton is a polite, attentive and respectful guy who did a great job pet sitting our cat in his house. He was very easy to communicate with and he kept us informed with pictures and messages. We will not hesitate to use his services again.”

“We were nervous leaving our elderly small dog with a new person. Brittani took very good care of Gabby. She was even flexible with us picking up our little one late because our flights home got delayed. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone with small dogs.”

“Bianca is my go to to watch my pup. Bianca and her family spoil my dog and give her love all the time. They have been a blessing as a resource. She will provide excellent care to your dog or cat!!”

“Pat was absolutely fantastic. She took great care of my Buster. She communicated with me often and kept me updated on the stay. Highly recommend!!”

“Zoey is always taken great care of when we leave her with Rhonda. She is so happy and playful and we feel very comfortable leaving her there. She loves being able to run and play in the yard and gets lots of loving. Thanks again Rhonda!”

“Patti has taken care of our two fur babies twice now and we are very happy with her services. Our boys seem to really like Patti and they seem to enjoy their visits. From the pictures Patti sent us while watching our boys, the yard and patio seem perfect for small dogs without the worry of their escape. Believe me our Yorkie is an escape artist and staying with Patti we have no worries. We look forward to our next trip and booking our boy’s stay with Patti. Lynn & Denny Harley & Matey”

“Brandi was really accommodating with the pickup/drop off time and I could tell she had a lot of experience dog sitting. My dog quickly warmed up to her. Brandi sent me a couple pictures of my dog while I was gone, which was nice. I will likely ask her to dog sit for me in the future.”

About: I have more than a decade experience caring for pets from puppy to senior. I'm comfortable administering medication and can make accomodations for maximum comfort. My home sits on the Coal River and provides a serene setting for your pup's stay. I'm currently working part-time which allows me the availability to play with your pup and take for walks. Booking three days in advance is preferred. When I'm away, the dogs have plenty of toys for play and soft places to nap while doggy TV is on. I have a good sized fenced yard and pet friendly sunroom and family room and two friendly dogs that can play with your pup! We have a gravity water bowl and can follow any special feeding instructions. There are two cats in the home. There is a self-service dog wash in town we can use if ever needed in a muddy situation and you feel comfortable with me transporting your dog in my car.

“We dropped of our whippet and pointer for overnight stay and they did great. Christy kept me updated on how they were settling in through their stay. My pointer loves her so much that he was barking and scratching his kennel when We were leaving. I thought he had to potty, so I stopped to let him out and as soon as we took off again he started fighting to get out of his kennel and see christy. We will definitely us Christy again”

“In everything Matthew does, he loves with his whole heart. This is no different with the way he loves animals. He has been around animals his whole life and he made it a personal goal to adopt when he knew he was ready to become a pet 'parent'. His love and energy for his cat Winnie and his dog Max is contagious and so sweet. Anyone in the room with Matthew and his animals can tell his love and can't help but have a smile on their face watching their interactions.”
