About: Responsible and caring dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience raising and caring for my own German Shepherd since I was 9. Now almost 20, Iâve developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, routines, and what it takes to keep pups happy and healthy. Iâm dependable, patient, and truly enjoy spending time with animalsâwhether itâs a fun walk, some playtime, or just being a calm, friendly presence. I treat every dog like theyâre my own and always aim to make them feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have a completely open and flexible schedule this summer, as Iâm taking online classes. Iâm available for daily walks, drop-in visits, and pet sittingâmorning, afternoon, or evening. Happy to work around your dogâs routine and needs! Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are always my top priorities when caring for petsâwhether in my home or my clientâs. I take time to get to know each dogâs personality, preferences, and routines so they feel secure and at ease. I make sure they have plenty of fresh water, comfortable resting spots, and a peaceful environment free from hazards or stress. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent and familiar. I always respect your space, treat it like my own, and give lots of love and attention to your furry family member. Whether itâs walks, feeding, playtime, or just good company, Iâm always focused on creating a positive, trusting relationship with both pets and their people.
âOn time to the minute. So patient with my very confused dog (sheâs never been walked by anyone else but me). Would recommend highly and Iâm a nut about who I trust my dog withâ

About: Iâve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I have hands-on experience with daily feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Iâve also regularly cared for friendsâ and family membersâ pets while theyâre out of town, making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own routine. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being. As a teacher, my schedule allows me to be home in the evenings and on weekends, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent pet care. Iâm able to stick closely to feeding schedules, playtime, walks, and any special routines your pet needs. Because my time outside of school is flexible and dependable, I can give your pet the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. I provide loving, hands-on care tailored to each petâs needs. At home, I have two cats and a dog, so Iâm very familiar with balancing playtime, exercise, and daily routines. I make sure my pets get plenty of attention and enrichment through play, and I walk my dog multiple times a day to keep him happy and healthy. I bring the same level of care, patience, and dedication to every pet I look after, treating them as if they were my own.
About: We got into pet care together because helping animals has always been a shared passion; itâs something that brought us closer and now itâs something we get to do side by side while helping our community 𼚠We currently foster for the Kanawha Charleston Shelter and another local rescue, help with TNR in our area, rehome strays, and love to spoil our own little crew of rescues! Over the years, weâve cared for dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, reptiles, rabbits, rats, and even birds! Weâre especially comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience, like shy rescues, semi-ferals, and senior animals! đâ𦺠We have hands-on experience with: ⢠Medications (oral, topical, injectable like insulin) ⢠Anxious or reactive behavior ⢠Special diets and tricky routines ⢠Post-op and long-term medical needs ⢠Livestock Friends! We're also active in the rescue world currently supporting fundraising, marketing, and networking for Krazie Ladies Animal Rescue, and jumping in when people in our community need help with lost pets or urgent rehoming! This isnât just a side gig for us... itâs something we truly love doing together! If youâd like to see more of the happy pets weâve cared for (and a peek at us in action), check out our Facebook page: Almost Heaven Critter Care WV đž Weâd be happy to help you and your pets have a stress-free, love-filled, judgement-free experience while youâre away! We both work from home, so our days naturally revolve around the animals we care for; ours and yours! That means weâre super flexible with visits throughout the day, whether itâs a quick morning potty break, midday meds, or evening playtime. Caring for animals is already part of our daily life. We foster and volunteer locally, so working around feeding schedules, quirky behaviors, and special routines is second nature. You can count on us to show up on time and treat your pets like theyâre part of the family! Weekend availability included... just reach out and letâs chat about what you need! đ We kindly ask for 3 days' notice for all bookings and cancellations so we can plan our calendar and make sure weâre giving every pet the time and care they deserve đ When weâre in your home, we treat it with the same care and respect weâd want for our own! We always follow your instructions to the T; whether thatâs feed times, locked doors or quirky pet routine... We will always keep your space clean, calm, and secure before we leave! Weâre happy to work with homes that use security systems or indoor cameras, and weâll always communicate clearly about access (keys, codes, etc.) so everyone feels comfortable! After each visit, youâll get a photo or two and a quick update so youâre never left wondering how things went!! If your pets have any medical needs, special diets, triggers, or unique behaviors, weâll ask about those ahead of time so we can handle everything confidently! Weâve worked with nervous pets, escape artists, and even semi-ferals... so nothing surprises us! We know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home and into your petâs routine, and we donât take that lightly! â¤ď¸
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, and I love being around them every day. I currently work as a dog daycare attendant, and I have experience teaching basic dog care to kids in a dog kennel setting. I have taken care of 15 dogs on my own while managing a class of kids. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare, and I am doing school online. I am open to help most days that I am not working. I have worked in a dog kennel/shelter for a summer as an instructor and taking care of the dogs. I also currently work as a dog daycare attendant where I monitor the dogs and make sure they are safe and taken care of. I currently have two dogs at home that are mainly indoor, but I have a small yard for them to play in as well. I like to play fetch with them at least two times a day to make sure they are getting proper exercise.
About: Iâve been around dogs my entire lifeâgrowing up on a farm and later living in apartments. Weâve always had multiple dogs at once, and Iâve cared for a wide variety of breeds, including Yorkies, Beagles, Pit Bulls, Shepherds, Hounds, English Bulldogs, Great Danes, and more. No matter the size or breed, I have hands-on experience with them all! My brother breeds mini Labradoodles and raises them kennel-free, so all the puppies and mamas live inside the home. Iâve helped care for his dogs oftenâeverything from newborn puppy care to managing females in heat, intact males, and keeping dogs safely separated when needed. Currently, I have a 5-month-old daughter and an XL Bully named Tadder. Heâs not fixed, but heâs incredibly sweet and gentle, especially around my baby. Tadder gets along great with female dogs and smaller males. Heâs crate trained, and we also have two separate areas in the house to keep him safely apart if you have a female in heat or a larger male dog. Iâm a stay-at-home mom, so my daily life naturally revolves around being a caregiver. Our big dog has a routine that includes a morning, midday, and evening walk. His favorite spot is the laundry room, where he has his own couch and crateâthatâs usually where he sleeps and relaxes. During the day, itâs just me, the dog, and the baby at home until around 5 or 6 PM. Iâm definitely the snuggler in the house, while my fiancĂŠ takes over playtime when he gets home! When a pet is in my home, I do my best to make their stay feel as close to their home routine as possible. I think of it like caring for someoneâs childâI want to respect and follow your rules to meet your petâs specific needs. While I may not be able to fully replicate a fenced yard if you have one at home, we do have a runner for safe outdoor time and go on plenty of walks to keep them active and happy. If Iâm caring for your pet in your home, Iâll follow any instructions you leave and will keep you updated regularly. Even if Iâm just stopping by for a visit or a walk, I like to spend a little extra time with your pet to help ease any anxiety they might feel with someone new around.
About: Iâve cared for family, friends, and neighbors pets most of my life as well as my own! That, on top of an entire summerâs worth of volunteer time at the animal shelter, has prepared me for anything and provided me with the education I need to care for you babies! I currently work a part time job working 4pm-11pm on weekdays and 11am-5pm on Saturdays with my Sundays off! Providing me with the time to care for your pets most of the day! I can care for your pets like theyâre my own while in the comfort of their own homes! Whatever is needed of me, I can provide.

About: Iâve always had a dog in my home. From walking them, to bathing, clipping nails, or even buying them toys every time i go out with them in the back of my mind. I will forever have a special place in my heart for a dog! I work part time at CAMC Memorial Hospital. I will only be accepting your fur baby on my days off to guarantee they are receiving the attention they deserve! I have a fur baby of my own she gets fed twice a day and taken outside more than i can count. every time she comes back in my home her paws and butt is wiped before getting on any furniture. Due to her still being young if she does have an accident she is put in her crate for the time span of me cleaning then taken back outside for reconstructive criticism.
About: Iâve spent my whole life around animals and truly love caring for them like theyâre my own. I currently have both a dog and a cat, so I fully understand the different needs, personalities, and routines that each pet requires. Iâve also cared for other small pets, and Iâve volunteered at local shelters, where I gained hands-on experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Iâm skilled in feeding schedules, litter box and potty training, giving oral or topical medications, leash walking, basic commands, and helping anxious pets feel safe and secure. Iâm especially patient with shy cats and high-energy pups, and Iâm happy to follow your petâs routine exactly as you prefer. I also offer house sitting, so your pets can stay in their familiar environment while youâre away. Whether your cat loves quiet companionship or your dog needs lots of playtime, Iâm here to provide reliable, loving care â and plenty of updates and photos so you feel at ease too. Your petsâ happiness and comfort are always my top priority. I have open availability, which means I can easily work around your schedule â whether you need early morning visits, evening walks, or extended house sitting. Iâm happy to be flexible to meet your petâs needs. When caring for pets in a clientâs home, I always prioritize keeping things clean, respectful, and as close to the petâs normal routine as possible. I make sure to follow all instructions carefully, from feeding times and walking schedules to litter box cleaning or medication needs. I give pets lots of attention, love, and playtime â while also respecting their boundaries and any house rules. Iâm mindful of the space Iâm in â I clean up after myself and the pets, avoid restricted areas, and make sure everything is left just as I found it. Whether itâs watering plants, bringing in the mail, or sending regular photo updates, Iâm happy to help however I can to give peace of mind while youâre away. My goal is to make sure both your pets and your home are well cared for.
