About: I had a dog that had a liver shunt and I kept him going with medication and good loving care. He lived to be 10 years old which my vet normally they don’t live past 5 years old. I am a retired banker and it’s always been my dream to be a pet sitter. I have some back issues so I would only be able to take care of small pets up to 20 pounds. Also I would prefer that the owner of the animal have a fenced in yard as I am not able to walk long distances. I prefer to keep your pet in the owners home where the animal feels more secure and safe. I am free to stay with your pet as long as needed.

My main mantra is “Help you have a stress free trip.” I fully understand that leaving your pet (baby) is stressful. I will send you daily photos and updates. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2020 and am a licensed social worker. I work for WVU’s CED and am able to work from home almost always. I am able to create my own schedule and primarily be home with the pets. I am a HUGE homebody and am here with them majority of the time unless I am doing a home visit that day (typically takes 2 hours) or running an errand. The only thing I request be brought is your pets favorite food and whatever medication they are currently taking. It can also be helpful to bring whatever bed is comfortable for your pet to sleep on. If your pet is a bed sleeper, that is OK as well! My main focus is to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible. Many folks provide me with some type of written or typed instruction. This helps me provide you with the best care possible so that whenever they come home, your pet has continued their consistent schedule. This is optional but totally cool to provide!
