About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and have a 5yr old golden retriever who I trained from the puppy stage. I’ve also walked dogs through Wag and have experience with all personalities and energy levels. I work from home so your pet will get lots of attention, frequent potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day! Since I work from home, your pet will never be alone and will get all the attention and playtime throughout the day! I live in a very walkable neighborhood and enjoy taking dogs on leashed walks as well as letting them play in the yard. I provide a comfortable, home-like environment where pets can be part of the family. I have a partially fenced yard, but since it isn’t fully enclosed, dogs are always supervised and kept on a leash outside. I also take them on walks around our very walkable neighborhood. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any special instructions you provide, and I’ll always prioritize their safety and comfort. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re staying with a friend—not at a kennel!
“Melissa was great ! She offered a meet and greet prior to Nova coming to stay with her which allowed Nova to meet her and get acquainted with where she would be staying ! Melissa provided great communication and sent multiple photos and videos of Nova throughout the day. She kept my mind at ease regarding Nova while I was out of town . Would 10000% recommend as she was great and provided a spacious house and yard for Nova to play and roam!”

“Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

I work during the week days but im available on the weekends, evenings, nights and early mornings. Depending on where you live i can even do let outs for mid-day potty breaks.
