About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. “Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

In case of emergency I am fifteen minutes away from the emergency veterinarian after normal veterinarian hours as well. I work part time 25 hours per week. About: I am a huge animal person, and I owned a dog for the first 10 years of my life. I also owned a cat for 15 years. Both my dog and cat lived long lives, so I have experience with elderly animals. I have never met a dog or cat whom I didn’t instantly love! Also, I have cared for four-legged family members whilst babysitting children! I am a 22 year old that just graduated this past December with a B.S. in Biology with a Pre-Dental concentration and a minor in Autism Spectrum Disorders! I spend my post-graduate days studying for the Dental Admissions Test, and I will be applying for dental school this summer. Since I spend the majority of my time at home, my schedule is wide open to care for your precious furry friends! I am very attentive, and I have experience watching animals who like to wander astray out of curiosity! I am more than willing to come to your home to ensure of your pet’s safety and comfortability.

“Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

This app allows me to get my dose of puppy/kitty loving!! Working full time with breaks to go home as needed. Your babies will be well looked after regardless of the type of care chosen (walks, overnight stays, etc.) I live in a safe neighborhood with several neighborhood pets. While my backyard is not fenced in, I will make sure your babies are on a leash and watched closely!
