About: Welcome to Riverside Park! My husband, Nick, and I have both been caring for animals since we were children. As educators, we have the flexibility to meet your pet's needs on your schedule. Whether your pet needs daily check it's, walks, or a place to stay while you're away, we are ready to accommodate! At our home, we have a small yard perfect for potty breaks and tug-o-war. We are also minutes away from the stunning Riverside Park, where our 2-year-old collie/shepherd mix, Fela (female, spayed), loves to get tuckered out on our daily walks. We can't wait to meet you and your pet! Let's find a time to see if it would be a good fit :) We are off for the summer, so we are able to work around your schedule! We are available for daily walks, feeding, check-ins, and boarding. Pick up and drop off available for a small fee. Please let us know ahead of time a little bit about your pet, including any special needs, so we can be prepared to care for them. We want both you and your pet to feel safe and comfortable! We want to respect your space and your pet's needs. For check-ins and walks, if your dog prefers not to have company, our dog Fela does not need to accompany us. However, it is still a good idea to arrange an initial meeting between us, you, and your pet to make sure everyone is comfortable. For boarding, please arrange a time for us and our dogs get introduce to one another to ensure our house is a good fit. About: I’ve had dogs of relatively all sizes and of course all personalities , I’m looking to open up my own Animal Care Center some time in the future for all our furry friends to hangout when their parents are away or in need of a break :) hoping to make some new friends. I’m currently not working so it’s great to spend all this extra time hanging around furry friends . About: I work remote so my days are flexible! Please reach out to confirm availability during weekdays. I have raised my own puppy in my own, and grew up with dogs cats. I have experience training and living with large dogs and cats! I am new to offering help professionally, but would love the opportunity to work with animals in my community. I am comfortable with dogs big and small and all activity levels! I am currently wrapping up my Masters at MSU, and all the work is remote so I can be very flexible and can make myself available most times of the day to care for your pet! My house has a fenced in yard, I also have a large kennel and basement that can be blocked off if needed. I am comfortable coming to your home for dog sitting as well, which would include any pet related chores (poop scooping, bathing, vacuuming, etc.) as well as walking dogs, and playing with them and offering all the attention they deserve! I am currently working from home 2 days a week, typically Monday and Friday, which I have updated my calendar to reflect! This is often flexible though, so please don’t hesitate to reach out about booking those days, as well as other weekdays. I adhere to all instructions you provide me with, whether it’s using a harness, crating dogs, and ensuring no interaction with others if we are out on a walk to avoid any risks if you have a reactive pet. Safety is my number one priority when it comes to your pet.
