Could not ask for a better pet sitter, Bethany took exceptional care of our two dogs while we were on a four day trip. Kept us continually updated, Porche and Lexi were in great hands, loved the care she provided and Bethany kept us updated on their status throughout. Her attention to details and care of both pets and home were exceptional. We will be a repeat customer - Thank You

This is the second time Annabeth has watched our rescue pets. We have 5 so we know that can be a lot and all have unique personalities/needs so it is helpful to have hired someone who understands and can be patient with our pets. We see Annabeth as family.

We are repeat clients of Sean's. He is always professional. He takes exceptional care of Stassi. He provides regular updates with pictures. He always leaves my home clean. On my last trip, my flight was delayed and he stayed several hours longer than planned. I ran out of food and he went to the pet store with no complaints about my error. Couldn't ask for better care of my pup and home!

lux watched our 3 small dogs (one being senior) for about a week in our home (this is the second time he has helped us)! lux was great and is our favorite go to dog sitter! I received updates on the dogs which gave great piece of mind. I came home to my home as I left it [which was very nice knowing my dogs are not good at going to the bathroom outside when we are away] lux spent quality time with my dogs and their needs. I definitely felt like the investment in lux being here while we were gone was well worth it!

About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

Corrine was excellent! This was my first time using a dog sitter, so I was apprehensive about leaving my dogs. She quickly put my mind at ease with lots of communication and pictures. She was punctual and followed my instructions while being loving and attentive to my dogs. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I highly recommend Corrine.

About: As an animal lover, I’ve watched my friends dogs, my favorite part is taking them on walks, & giving them lots of pets & play time I currently work as an esthetician & artist who creates my own schedule based off of appointments. My job is flexible & allows me to care for animals most time of the day & week! In my own home, I make sure my cats receive playtime, attention, pets & cuddles. Within a clients home, I’d make sure to understand each individuals animals needs and how they are typically cared for and ensure they are treated how they’re typically treated by their owners, & with lots of care, attention & love.

About: You can count on me to treat your pet like another member of my family. Growing up on a farm exposed me to animals of all sizes from an early age and gave me a deep love for them. We always had dogs and cats, plus other animals. Because of this, I am comfortable administering medications to your pets and ensuring they get the love and attention you are looking for. I've had my rescue Pit, Rusty, for the past 5 years, and I love being a dog dad. I am a bit of a runner, so I am happy to take on high-energy dogs, whether that is for a longer walk or a good run. I am looking forward to helping you with your pet's needs and working toward being their new best friend! I currently work remotely as a freelancer and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule both during the day and evenings. I can host most weekends and live down from Eden Park. I'll do my best to work around your pet's needs and routine to meet you where you are! I believe in following what works best for your pet and reinforcing any behaviors/training you are currently working on with them. I also believe every pet should be loved and spoiled just like any family member. My day job is communications and marketing, so you can expect regular and consistent updates from me.

About: Hi! I’m Sydney, and I love working with animals. I’m responsible, caring, and patient, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I’ve had hands-on experience sitting, volunteering and shadowing in animal care settings, which helped me learn more about pet behavior, handling, and daily care. I’m comfortable following routines, paying attention to details, and giving each pet the care they need. I do work part-time so I will have some availability throughout the week and on weekends, making it easy to provide check-ins, feeding, playtime, and lots of care for your pets. I treat every pet like my own and always follow the owner’s instructions. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll provide a safe, clean, and calm environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

About: I love animals of any kind, and have been taking care of my own pup for 14 years now. I'm 26 years old and I'm happy to do most anything that is asked in terms of pet and house-sitting. I love to go above and beyond and give you 110% of my effort, so I'm happy to tidy up and do chores around the house when I watch your furry friends or home. I'm a registered nurse and just broke my arm so I'm out of work for the next 6 weeks. That means I'm free every day and starting to go stir crazy. Would love to hangout with your furry friends, and can probably walk about one large dog at a time, but other than that I don't have many restrictions. Please give me some things to do and pets to snuggle during this boring time off work! I work 3 days a week 12 hour shifts so likely cannot care for your furry friends on work days, but I have 4 days each week sometimes 8 in a row 100% free. Just message me and I'll let you know if I'm available! My dog has an electric fence and I would take your sweet friend out on a leash if there was no physical fence or electric fence. I'd make sure they were well fed, well loved, well cuddled (if they enjoy that) and make sure your home is clean and tidy if you give me permission!

We were happy to find Sean to stay at our home with our four month old puppy. We needed someone who could be here most of the time with her, and Sean was a great fit. He communicated well before our trip and sent regular updates while we were away. The house was well taken care of and Scout seemed happy and calm when we returned home. We would definitely book Sean again.

If I could give Laura more than 5 stars, I would. She was FANTASTIC (each time we've booked her), both at taking care of our multiple pups and communicating with us. There's no one I'd trust more when we have to be away.

We had a wonderful experience with Kat! She stayed at our home for a week and took great care of our two dogs. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure our pets were happy and comfortable while we were away. Kat went above and beyond when our Chukit broke during her stay. She even purchased a replacement so the dogs could continue enjoying one of their favorite activities. We came home to two happy, well cared for dogs. I will absolutely book with her again when we go out of town in the future.

Kristen was wonderful housesitting and caring for our senior dog whose food/med routine has gotten a bit complex in recent months. She did everything we needed to be sure our girl was well cared for, cared about the details to be sure Luna was as comfortable and happy as possible, and communicated well with any questions or concerns. Would love to have her take care of Luna again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Crescent Springs on Rover is $67.41 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,330 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Crescent Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Crescent Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Crescent Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Crescent Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crescent Springs. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
