“Destiny is very experienced with dogs and my Shih Tzu, Toby, enjoyed his day with her. I will definitely schedule her again in the future. She kept my home spotless and exceeded my expectations!”

“Laura is fantastic! She is always on time and professional, but also like family. She loves Spencer and takes great care of him when we are away. We don’t have to worry about a thing!!”

“Kristen was wonderful housesitting and caring for our senior dog whose food/med routine has gotten a bit complex in recent months. She did everything we needed to be sure our girl was well cared for, cared about the details to be sure Luna was as comfortable and happy as possible, and communicated well with any questions or concerns. Would love to have her take care of Luna again!”

“Sean is an absolute gem! He’s incredible with our senior Pomeranian, Bear, and we trust him completely—not only with our dog, but with our home. He’s neat, reliable, and always keeps us updated with great communication while we’re away. Honestly, I’ve lost track of how many times he’s walked Bear or stayed at our house—it’s been that many. We even schedule our vacations around his availability because having Sean means total peace of mind. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Bethany took great care of our boys while we were out of town. She sent updates and pictures multiple times throughout her time dog/house sitting for us. We will def have her watch them again for our future vacations. Highly recommended to take care of your fur babies.”

“Annabeth was very accommodating and is trustworthy. She communicated with us and made the process a breeze. Would highly recommend her services to anyone that is looking for a mature and responsible individual!”

About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a fenced in yard that's about 70 yards deep. I also have a 30 yard lead that is concreted in (no fear of them breaking lose. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. The closest dog park is about 2 miles from my house. I live alone.
“Katie was great taking care of our dog while we were on vacation. She showed up when she said she would, spent some quality time with him, and sent plenty of pictures and status updates. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

“Courtney did great taking care of my elderly Pugs and making sure they got their meds. She was eager to learn how to manage my paralyzed dog which was great and hard to find!”
About: I’ve always been a dog person. I took care of my neighbor’s dogs in high school and did a lot of housesitting during and after college. I’m excited to expand my opportunity here. I’ve invested a lot of time training both of our dogs since they were puppies. I also love hiking & live near several parks and trails. I work full time remotely. I start work at 9:30am so I could definitely drop by before then if you’re close by. I’m available most nights and weekends for boarding too. We live in a small apartment so I will always travel to you. I don’t have enough space to bring your pets here. Working remotely, I make sure to get out for a minimum of 2 walks a day and I am vey flexible.
“this was our first time booking through rover. I was hesitant to trust a "stranger" with our dogs and in our house. also the investment in the dog sitting was a steep cost. but! IT WAS WORTH IT. I came home to happy dogs, clean house (our dogs have accidents) and updates along the way. one of our dogs is older and she was well taken care of based on her appearance coming home. Lux will be our regular sitter -if he will have us :) I highly recommend him!”

“Truly cannot say enough great things about booking with Kaitlynn. She was very communicative and sent photos daily. She helped our dogs feel safe while we were away, and that gave us peace of mind on our trip. We would absolutely book again!”

“Jhazahir was A MIRACLE There was a problem with the deadbolt on my front door while I was away and she kept her cool, handled dealing with the very surly locksmith, hung out until she could get in to care for my baby boy, Arlo. I could not be more pleased and impressed by her willingness to see that Arlo was taken care of. I truly respect and appreciate her dedication and commitment. I could not recommend her more highly.”

About: Responsible, caring, dog lover! I have raised my own dog since she was a puppy. We love going on walks, hikes, and playing with other dogs. I work full time. I am able to walk dogs in the morning before 8 or in the evenings after 5:00. Can house sit or board dogs at my house if needed. I have open availability on the weekends. I care for other pets like my own. I let them on the couch/bed if it's allowed by the owner. I take them on walks and let them outside in my fenced-in yard.

About: I am committed to providing your home & pets with a high level of attention based on my extensive professional house care & animal care/handling experience, from horses and large hoof-stock like elk and bison to exotic zoo animals and other rehabilitated wildlife (eagles, owls, porcupines, foxes) to friendly labradors in urban Los Angeles and chickens and champion Iditarod sled dogs off-the-grid in the Alaskan wilderness — as well as almost 40 years of life lived with a menagerie of domesticated personal pets including birds, cats, dogs, and reptiles & rodents. I have a soft spot in my heart for elderly pets, and currently help care for & train my Dad’s rambunctious (big!) 3-year old German Shepherd puppy, Hunter. Available for housesits for creatures of all types! The more unusual species or breed, the better. Happy to do virtual &/or in person meet & greets. I currently work remotely & part-time from home with very flexible hours. My overall schedule is highly adaptable, especially for bookings coordinated in advance. See my Availability calendar, which reflects when I am actively in the local area — usually anywhere from a few weeks to a month or more at a time. I have extensive professional housesitting, property management & horse care experience, including managing remote private and commercial properties with various house pets, teams of sled dogs, chickens and horses in both Alaska & New Zealand — managing an Alaskan luxury wilderness lodge Harrison Ford once flew his helicopter into, small cruise ship operations in Alaska and a horseback riding bed & breakfast in New Zealand while the owners traveled abroad. I have worked as a horseback guide in Alaska and New Zealand and as a ranch hand in Kentucky, where I’m originally from.
“Nicole is fantastic. One of my cats developed a terrible abscess shortly before I left, and she hid under shrubs and wouldn't let anyone near her. Nicole was able to get her and bring her in to be treated. She took great care of my cats and my home, kept in touch by text and phone, and sent pics. Nicole is the BEST pet sitter I could have had.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have always ended up having dogs that are in some cases special needs. I truly love to be around animals because their happiness is so pure. I am a nurse by day and an animal cuddler by night. I am able to give medication’s. I work on basic commands. I have taken care of dogs from puppies to senior. If there is something specific that needs to be taken care of while taking care of your loved one, I will definitely work something out. I am currently taking a vacation between my travel contract for nursing and will be available throughout the day. If there is a specific time or day that works best for you, I will try to make it as easy on you as possible. I typically will have the animal on a leash if there is not a fenced in backyard. Of course, depending on the situation I will allow the owner to guide me on how they prefer to have the animal leashed and will take the precautions necessary to keep them safe.
“Katelyn is wonderful! We appreciate the time and care she took during our meet & greet, and she was a respectful houseguest. Iris & Dill loved her, and she provided regular updates during her time watching them. Will absolutely be booking her again and she is welcome back to our home any time! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a considerate, reliable sitter.”

Kristen was wonderful housesitting and caring for our senior dog whose food/med routine has gotten a bit complex in recent months. She did everything we needed to be sure our girl was well cared for, cared about the details to be sure Luna was as comfortable and happy as possible, and communicated well with any questions or concerns. Nia was exceptional. It was the weekend of the big snow & ice storm and she handled everything flawlessly. She took get care of Shadow and all the unusual circumstances resulting from the storm. I couldn’t be more pleased with her performance and I highly recommend her.

Sean stayed with our senior Pomeranian, Bear, for seven days over the Christmas holiday, and as always, he was absolutely amazing. Our home was spotless when we returned, and the updates Sean provided were thoughtful, reassuring, and perfectly timed. We truly can’t say enough positive things about him. Bear may only be 13 pounds, but he’s very feisty and has a fairly involved care routine. He requires daily medications, injections, and eye drops, and Sean handles all of it with complete ease and confidence. It’s immediately clear that Sean has a deep love for animals and gives an incredible level of attention, care, and detail to Bear’s needs. We’ve been using Sean for nearly two years now, and he is truly our go-to pet sitter. We trust him immensely and often plan our vacations around his availability because he knows Bear, understands his routine, and cares for him as if he were his own. That peace of mind is priceless. Another huge benefit is Sean’s ability—despite his other commitments—to stay at our house for extended periods of time. This is especially important for Bear as a senior dog who needs frequent bathroom breaks. Sean’s flexibility and presence make a world of difference for Bear’s comfort and well-being. In short, the level of care and service Sean provides is truly unmatched. If there’s one “negative,” it’s only that he’s so popular that we have to book well in advance to make sure we get on his schedule. We cannot recommend Sean highly enough.

My dog loves Suzanna! My dog is high maintenance and sensitive. Suzanna was diligent about keeping to her routine. She played with, walked, and cleaned up my dog’s waste. Punctual, dependable and organized as well. I highly recommend Suzanna to care for your pet. And, I will ask her to sit for us again in the future.

Outstanding! Bri was very dependable during her 10 day stay housesitting my senior fur babies! She treated them very well and was able to give them their medicine twice a day. No issues occurred, I was at peace of mind the entire time. We received a couple updates with photos, which was nice to see while we were away. I would suggest communicating with Bri in advance of booking, how much time you anticipate her being at your house when hiring her for housesitting. I definitely recommend Bri and hope to use her services again!

Joe did an amazing job! Not only with the dogs, but keeping the house looking just as clean if not cleaner than when we left! I was anxious about leaving the boys with a new person for 16 days while out of the country, but Joe eased my mind quickly with updates and pictures of the boys. We will definitely be using him again in the future.

She did outstanding! Words can’t even describe how amazing the house was and how well my dog was taken care of the entire time! Always kept me up to date on how he was doing. Sends plenty of pictures! Above and beyond. Thank you so much for the 30th time!! For sure use you again. Highly recommend. :)
