“This was a last minute need and she said absolutely I can. I know these two are scared little guys. But I appreciate you a lot for stepping up and helping me”

About: I have several years of experience taking care of pets of all kinds. I had a rescue pitbull for 10 years who was my very best friend! He has since crossed the rainbow bridge and I currently do not have any pets of my own, so I am happy to spend time taking great care of other people’s furry friends! I work full time but have flexibility within my job to work from home on certain days. On weekends I am almost always available to provide your pet ample attention! I will treat your pet as if they were my own and do everything I can to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible while you are away. I will also take great care to respect any and all rules/guidelines established by the pet owner!
“Ben was fantastic with Henry and Homer. I appreciated all the extra care and love Ben gave my guys when I was away. They were very well taken care of and Ben went above and beyond all expectations.”

“Tess is the BEST! We enjoy her thoughtful updates while we’re traveling, and our sweet Willow loves her to pieces. Can’t imagine a better walker or drop-in sitter. ❤️”

“Angel was super attentive to my cats while I was away, and coordinated with me through complicated travel schedules to make sure they would get the care that they need! I’m super thankful for her 💙”

“Cathy was fantastic looking after our cats. We got lots of photos each day, which our previous Rover didn’t do. We will definitely have Cathy watch our cats next time we head out of town.”

About: I’ve always taken care of pets since a young age for neighbors and friends. Several of my current pets have special needs, from specific diets to medical conditions. I’m able to take care of any animal no matter the special help they may need. I’ve taken care of many different animals from dogs and cats to bearded dragons and toads. I’m not afraid to get grubby and clean out tanks or litter boxes. I currently have a part time office job that is done in person and remotely! I'll have plenty of time to be with your dogs to play, walk, and also chill while they nap. At your home I'll ensure all of your preferences and routines are maintained for your dog. That way I can ensure reduced stress while you're away and your dog(s) can have the best time possible while you're away!
“Allison took care of our girls while we were out of town for a family vacation. She was fantastic with the girls and communicated with us regularly. We supremely appreciate that she kept them happy and safe!”

About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was a child! I grew up with 2 Beagles, Chocolate Lab, Lab mix, and a Great Dane. Now that I have moved to Cincinnati, I have many volunteer hours walking dogs and taking them on day trips through Cincinnati Animal CARE! I also have experience house sitting 2 Dachshunds, 2 Golden Retrievers, a hound dog, one blue healer, and one Yorkshire Terrier over the course of 4 years. I’m currently studying Architectural Engineering at UC so my hours of availability vary during the week. I’d be available 12-2 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 3-10 on Tuesdays and Thursday’s. On the weekends I’d be available at your request! I understand that not all dogs need the same kind of attention to keep them happy! I’m comfortable playing fetch, tug of war, running around, or throwing frisbee for hours if needed but I’m also comfortable going for a nice slow walk with many breaks and lots of pets! I’m very patient when it comes to working with dogs and I prioritize making them feel safe and loved in all environments.
About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely loves animals and treats every pet like family. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I focus on making both pets and owners feel safe, relaxed, and cared for from day one. I have experience caring for pets with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs — including administering medications, working with reactive dogs, senior dogs, and puppies. I understand that every pet is unique, and I’m patient, attentive, and committed to creating a calm, positive environment where they feel secure and comfortable. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime, or simply wants extra affection and attention, I tailor my care to fit their individual routine and personality. I’m confident reading body language and helping nervous or high-energy pets feel safe and understood. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I also make it a priority to keep routines consistent to help reduce stress and make the experience as comfortable as possible for your pet. My goal is simple: to give your pet a loving, stress-free experience while giving you total peace of mind. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I currently stay at home so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, loving care for your pets. I’m available for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-in visits throughout the week and weekends. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked — I make it a priority to give each animal personalized attention, exercise, playtime, and affection. I’m also happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medication routines, and special care instructions to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel secure and loved while you’re away. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. I treat every pet like family and always follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, exercise needs, medications, and preferred sleeping arrangements.
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, and as an adult got into dog training. I did years of research and have successfully trained service dogs, prepped dogs for therapy work, and was the dog trainer at a box store for 2 years before vetmed called my name. Now I have my second service dog I'm training for myself, and work as a veterinary assistant. I'm familiar with reactive dog behavior, and how to manage and redirect it. I understand dogs need enrichment, training, and time to also just be a dog and decompress. I currently work full time Monday, Tuesday, and then my schedule varies on Thursday-Saturday. I get off at 6pm on weekdays and 2pm Saturdays. I would be able to provide care outside of my work hours. I do not provide care in my own home, but have no issues providing care in a client's home! I'm very respectful of people's homes and what they are comfortable with. I always have a treat bag with me, but as a pet parent of dogs with allergies I'll always ask before I give your pup anything!
About: I’ve taken care of two dogs for almost a full year by taking them on walks, giving medication, potty break and dog sitting over night with them! I currently do not have a full-time or part-time job but I am looking for one! I do take care of 2 other dogs already, M-TH from 12:45p-1:30p. I can do anytime from 2p-4p or 6:30p-8p! With having my own pups, I try to keep dog care at your own house where they feel the most comfortable and safe at! If any accidents happen, I always make sure to clean it up the second I notice it! With scheduled feedings or medications, I am always on time with them and will always send a text to let you know that they have gone good or not!
“Crista was great with our four cats! She accepted our last minute booking request and was very responsive throughout the entire stay. She followed the detailed instructions we gave her and provided updates and photos at each visit. Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crescent Springs
Rebecca was wonderful with my cat Poe. This was my first time away from him since his shelter adoption, so I was worried about how he would react to my absence. From the photos that I received everyday, he loved her! I had photos of him playing, being pet and brushed, and of him eating and receiving treats. It took me a full year for Poe to roll over and show me his tummy, whereas he was rolling over for Rebecca within two days - she's like the cat whisperer! I felt very secure leaving Poe in her capable hands, and I will utilize her services again in the future. It's such a relief to have someone that you can trust to take excellent care of your furry family member. I highly recommend Rebecca.

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter for my boy, Muky! 🐾 Shivani was absolutely wonderful—always punctual, caring, and attentive. She kept me updated every day with messages and adorable pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Muky clearly loves her, and it’s easy to see why—she treated him as if he were her own, making sure he got his medication, plenty of love, and some treats too. I’m so grateful for her kindness and professionalism, and I highly recommend Shivani to anyone looking for a truly caring pet sitter. Thank you Shivani

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crescent Springs. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
