“Justina was nothing short of exceptional with our babies! As a girl in her late 20s with older parents who were a bit on the fence using Rover, Justina came into the house with care and compassion and gave that same attitude with my girlies. She kept me in the loop with everything going on and made sure they were 100% taken care of while we were all out of town. I will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“This is not the first time that Susan take care of my dog. This time I hired another sitter through Rover (Susan was not available) and on day one the other sitter informed me he couldn't take care of my dog without any notice. I was overseas. Susan stepped in immediately despite being unavailable. She adjusted her schedule for drop-in visits. She literally saved my vacation. Thank you, Susan!”

“Maryann was honestly so great. Very punctual, even early sometimes which I know my cats appreciate because they always want to eat before their mealtime! We always received a full breakdown of how each visit went and always got so many pictures. We came back to two extremely happy cats.”

“Aidan was super communicative and kind. We didn't have time to do a meet and greet beforehand because of some last minute travel changes, but they graciously hopped in anyway and figured everything out sight unseen.”

About: I’m a lifelong pet parent and animal lover, born and raised in Rhode Island. I have a 9-year-old cat who has been my baby since she was 3 months old. I also live with and care for my parents’ 4-year-old rescue dog. I have previously raised 3 dogs, and pet sat for many friends and family over the years. I even volunteered at a farm for a few summers, where I looked after everything from horses, goats, pigs, donkeys, and more. After working in higher education for 15 years, I’m pursuing a career change, and can think of nothing better than caring for others' pets! I am incredibly caring and responsible, and I love animals with all of my heart. I guarantee that your fur baby will be safe and cared for with me 🥰 I’m currently focusing on pet care as my primary profession, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m happy to speak with you about your needs and figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet(s). “Wow, usually [pet’s name] NEVER goes up to strangers or lets someone new pet them!” This is something I’ve heard time and again throughout my life. I’m not saying I’m a Disney princess, but…👀 All joking aside, I do take pet care very seriously, and make sure to meet animals where they’re at, never pushing them to be best friends right away. I will use patience and gentleness to gain your pet’s trust. While I do not offer boarding services at my own home, I will treat your home and your pet’s space with the utmost care and security. I am happy to talk through what this looks like for you and your pet depending on your needs.

“Julia and Faith were amazing. I was overseas and scrambling to have someone care for my cats after a few unfortunate incidents with a different cat sitter (not booked via rover). They stepped in and managed the situation so well. I really trusted them in my house and with my cats. I’m so thankful for them.”

“Absolutely amazing! Kenneth was on time and took care of my fur babies. My senior dog loved his drop ins for sure and the three walks a day. He made sure they had plenty of water and food. Cleaned the litter box too. Even played with Oreo the cat and his favorite string toy. Would definitely recommend to my friends and request him again if needed.”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. Whether it was my own golden retriever or lab or my friends great dane or chihuahua, I've always been around dogs. My current childhood dog is a 14 year old chocolate lab. She's a senior but her bad hips and hearing loss doesn't stop her from acting like a puppy. I've been a volunteer at the Hotel for Homeless Dogs, a shelter located in Cumberland, RI, since November 2023. Being a volunteer there has exposed me to tons of different types of dogs. Big, small, old, young, reactive, dog aggressive, shy, docile - you name it! Being around and caring for a wide range of dogs helped me gain experience and confidence in my pet care ability. I'm currently working full time, M-F until 4:00 pm. I'm available 5:00 - 9:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am - 10:00 pm on weekends. Currently, I cannot accommodate boarding pets in my home, as I rent and property management does not allow pets. That being said, I pride myself in treating someone else's space/ home, like my own. I am respectful, cleanly, honest, communicative and kind!

“Baeli was incredible! Baeli is so nice and bubbly, and did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Nyssa!! I loved receiving all of the photos and videos as it was great to see how much fun the two of them were having together. When I need someone to come and take care of my cat I know who I will be reaching back out to! 5 Stars!!”

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

“I don’t want to leave a great review because we want to keep Carolyn all to ourselves, but we have too! Words can’t not describe how grateful and thankful we are that we had Carolyn watch our dogs. We had an emergency situation with one of our pups and she went above and beyond to give the best care and love to our dogs. Carolyn brought our dog to the emergency vet, waited til she was out of surgery and brought her home. Administered medication and communicated with us every step of the way. She offered great advice while never making us feel bad or guilty for being on vacation. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be using her again!”

“We are absolutely thrilled to have found Rich (Kemba) for our American Bulldog, George. Our meet & greet was off to a slow start, as George is not always friendly to new people. Kemba and his wife Sandra, however, we so amazingly patient, understanding and kind to George - allowing him time to warm up a bit as we talked about his particular needs. Clearly they have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with all sorts of animals, including those who are "misunderstood". We scheduled a 2 week period of 2/day drop-in visits for George, beginning with yesterday (while my husband and I were home to show Kemba the ropes). George was extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming, but Kemba remained calm and collected, explaining George's behavior and reassuring him. He reassured me as well, as I was stressing out over George's outburst. We reviewed some of the notes I left for Kemba and went outside for a short playtime. George is very capable, caring hands with this man. We have a very good feeling moving forward and are confident that he and George will be great friends. I cannot recommend Kemba more highly.”

“Jina is truly a gem! She’s the only sitter who can get my pup Luna, who is usually very picky and anxious when I’m away, to eat and feel comfortable overnight. I always feel at ease leaving my fur baby in Jina’s care because I know she’s in safe, capable, and compassionate hands. Every time I pick up Luna, she’s relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. I’m beyond grateful to have found someone as reliable and thoughtful as Jina. Highly recommend!”
