About: At 28 Years Old, I have nearly always had a dog living with me. 8 dogs have been apart of my life in the past and currently 4 reside in our large loving home. Nearly every single one of my dogs have been rescued and cared for, where I try my best to change my own routine to better fit their needs rather than trying to change them to fit my own. In the past years I have boarded relatives' dogs at my own home and would like to continue helping dog parents with any dog care they might need. Because I've had so many dogs in my life, I have had to experience both the beginning and end of their lives. I especially enjoy giving extra care to senior dogs to make sure they are most comfortable in the golden age of their lives. I am working only part time so I have plenty of time to give your dogs as little or as much attention as you need. My schedule is extremely flexible. Weekends or Weekdays are perfect for me. My home sits on a hilly and forested 3 acres, with fenced in portions as well as a long circular driveway perfect for walks! In the fenced area, there is a pool perfect for any water loving dog in the summer! There is also an enclosed run of chickens that are unbothered by any rambunctious and curious dogs. Currently we have 4 dogs, one an outdoor Rottweiler dog that is all too happy to play with another dog, but with her own separated fenced in area. We have 4 indoor dogs, 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Chihuahua. All of them have shown friendly tendencies to unfamiliar dogs of similar size. They have had mixed feelings over larger dogs and I know that not all dogs enjoy the company of others. Should your own dog be more comfortable being alone and dislike other dogs, our house is set up in a way that your own dog can have their own private space away from my dogs and still get whatever attention is needed while still allowing my own dogs ample space.
“Yvelene was amazing with communication while dropping in for my baby. It was nice feeling relieved I had someone professional and kind coming to my home to make sure my pup was taken care of. I highly recommend her!”

“OMG, Summer was the best. She gave me great piece of mind while on vacation. She sent photos twice a day when she walked my baby. He was literally smiling in the photos. She was so professional and loving toward Duke.”

“Kira did an amazing job with our extremely active golden doodle. She came over twice a day and not only fed him and cared for him, but also played with him and loved him. She sent pictures all week and I could really tell that our dog Ace felt comfortable around her.”

“Marilyn was such an amazing pet sitter! She sent me the sweetest pictures of my cat while we were away and I could tell my cat really enjoyed her visits! My cat is very shy, so it was nice to see how Marilyn made an effort to connect with her and my cat bonded with her. She also checked in on my cat another day after our flight got delayed. I would definately recommend!!”

About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. Working with dogs of all sizes helps me better my skills so I can someday be a vetanarian and open my own hospital. I strongly believe that dogs are men best friend and should be treated with the best care and love. Running around with young and energetic dogs or walking and relaxing with older and relaxed dogs I love them both. And I look forward to having this great opertonity and experience with your dog. I work relief for a vet hospital but my availability is very flexible. I am able to take your pet out twice a day if needed. I have a fenced in back yard and a nice neighborhood where we are able to run and walk with our dogs. So there is plenty of space to play and relax.
About: I was a dog walker before I got hired at a pet store. My first dog was a lab pit mix, my second a Belgian Shepherd, and now I have my own pit mix. I have sat for family members with Chihuahuas and dachshunds. I am great with any size dog and have never met a pet I didn't love. I am familiar with many training tools, dietary needs and distributing medication. I have owned a couple dogs with severe allergies and sensitivities. I also have experience with exotic pets including ferrets. I care for my dog 24/7 including daily walks and a good amount of play time. I work from home as a counselor and create my own schedule so have plenty of time to tend to your pets. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup that loves other dogs. She would be great company or be able to be kept separate depending on your pets needs

“She is the one of the best pet sitters I had. Always available to take care of my kittens with a short notice ( I have to travel frequently for my work with short notice) so communicative, friendly and supportive.”

About: I grew up with many animals at my home. I have taken care of plenty animals for friends and families and provided great care to them. I go to school Monday-Wednesday from 8-12 and Thursday from 7-3. I am available on those days after school. I am also available Friday-Sunday all day! I am not able to care for pets in my home but for clients homes, I will feed, walk, bathe, and play with the pets. I also love giving lots of cuddles!

“Jillian was my saving grace!! I had planned to leave my old mastiff at the boarders when I went out of town but he didn’t like his meet and greet at all! So I thankfully discovered Rover and Jillian. I was able to leave him at home where he’s most comfortable. Jillian and Otis got along great. She gave him his daily meds and treats and even sent me pics. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, I'm Gessy! I have several years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, especially pit bulls and small breeds. I've done pet sitting, walking, feeding, playtime, and even given medications when needed. I treat every pet like family-gentle, patient, and dependable. Whether it's for a weekend or longer, your pets will be safe, happy and love with me and my family. I am currently a stay home mom, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weeks days. I do not have a fence yard i have a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company, and I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Denise was fantastic!! She always sent me pics at almost every visit of my girls while I was away. That was wonderful since I hated leaving them but trying to deal with dog traveling and then accommodations. It is just so much easier to have a pet sitter come by 3 times a day for breakfast, dinner and at the end of the night to bring them into the house overnight so my neighbors would not complain about any dog barking. I really believe in pet sitters and again Denise had everything under control. I can't stand boarding my dogs ever since I did one time and then my dog slept in the closet from then on. It is so much cheaper too and the dogs are still at their home. They do not have to be traumatized by sitting in a kennel almost 24/7!! It is also so much cheaper, especially if you have more than one pet.”

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends dogs over time with love and care. From small to large dogs, I’ve gotten very well with them all. Currently I’m an upcoming artist which means I work from home and I have a flexible schedule. YI’m available from 8am to 10pm through Monday to Sunday. At home I have a un fenced yard with wide space for the dogs can play and run around. While in other clients homes I’d ask for specific instructions so the dog feels at home with me.
“Loan was great with my dog. She was kind and she seemed to love animals. That made me feel comfortable and at ease about leaving him in her care. She was excellent and I will definitely recommend her.”
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 12. Neighbors, family members and friends would trust me to take care of their 4 legged animals while they were gone. They never had to worry if their animals were being taken care of! I currently work full time. I already take care of a few of my neighbors pups when they are not around & need some assistance. I will be able to put your dog first and give them all the love they need. I live in a city style apartment community with several areas just for pets. There is also a mile walking trail for long walks! Very safe area with no worries of late potty breaks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
