When I first met Miriam, and her husband, at the Meet and Greet ahead of time, I could see their huge hearts for dogs (and cats) in their care. Their home is a welcoming and safe environment and Paddy took to it right away. Miriam understood his specific needs and gave him the attention he loves. He actually played with their little dog in their wonderful fenced in yard ; an opportunity he doesn't have at home (no other pets & no fenced in yard). I loved the pictures and messages she sent about how he was doing. About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. Working with dogs of all sizes helps me better my skills so I can someday be a vetanarian and open my own hospital. I strongly believe that dogs are men best friend and should be treated with the best care and love. About: I had a dog most of my childhood and when my daughter was younger. I’ve had a dog in my house when my daughter moved back. I’m available 7 days a week currently. We take walks three times a day. A cage is not necessary but is recommended in case their first night in new surroundings is hard. Doggy beds are a must and poop bags also. We try to keep a clean neighborhood. Very safe neighborhood and walking trails nearby. No stray animals or loose pets to worry about. We do not take walks after dark. If you bring a cage, you pet will not be locked inside I do have a spare room for your pet to occupy if I need to step out.

Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. About: I work in a rescue clinic where I have developed skills like administering medication, working with all ages from newborns to seniors, and working with animals of all sizes! I have owned a variety of pets over the years, and have had them from newborns up to 20 yrs old. “Josh and his human & canine family took such great care of our 19 month goldendoodle, allowing us a few days to visit our daughter & her family in Houston.
