About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a house full of dogs—pit bulls, pugs, and all kinds of lovable mutts. My family fostered dogs regularly, so I’ve been around a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, handle different behaviors, and help dogs feel safe and cared for in new environments. I now have a pit bull of my own who’s sweet, goofy, and full of personality. I’m confident handling strong breeds and love connecting with every type of dog. Whether your pup is high-energy or more laid-back, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I’m a strength and conditioning coach with a flexible schedule, so I can often accommodate early mornings, midday walks, and evening drop-ins. My work is mostly part-time, and I build my schedule week by week, which allows me to prioritize pet care. Reach out with your preferred times—I’m happy to work with you to make it fit! When caring for your dog in your home, I make safety and routine my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, walks, and any house rules—whether that’s keeping your pup off the furniture or giving them treats after a walk. I work full time and my schedule changes a bit but I can usually accommodate walks/drop ins before 9am and after 7pm. Afternoon walks/drop ins can be accommodated, we'll just need to discuss the best time for them. About: Pets have always been a part of my life - birds, fish, dogs, cats, mice, gerbils. I enjoy their unique personalities - even the fish! I've experienced the puppy or kitten as they mature, rescued discarded animals from the side of the road and nursed them through Parvo and starvation. My current rescue is an adult cat whose parents died of Covid. This was very stressful for her and after a couple of months of her absolute fear, I now have a very cuddly baby...even without her stress medications. I've volunteered with a pet rescue service where I walked several dogs at a time and played with the cats every evening. Your baby will be well cared for according to their needs and your instructions. I am able to make my schedule work around your needs (for the most part) with extended time available weekday evenings, Fridays, weekends and holidays. Caring for your pet is no different than caring for my pet or my child. Their needs are always met. Feedings, walks, playing, mess clean-ups (yep, I know that's a part of it), medications, all that's part of pet care. When staying with your pet at your home or during drop-in visits, I am able assure their needs and attention are well taken care of as well as the care of your space. Cleaning up accidents, litter boxes, rolling hair off of furniture is all part of what I do for you and your baby. I'll water your plants too! I'm a big believer of leaving the (you choose the word) better than I found it. Yep, I return carts left in the parking lot to the store...even in the rain.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of different household pets - currently in my care is a 5 year old ball python. I have previously cared for multiple dogs, including bully breeds. I also have experience with senior dogs, having recently rescued and rehabilitated a 130lb senior great dane/pit bull mix for the final few years of his life, as well as caring for past family dogs well into their later years. I grew up in a "more animals than people" household, so I've always been very accustomed to tending to the needs of various types of animals such as dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave them home while you're away. One thing you can guarantee I'll say just about every time I leave the house is "I wish I could text my dog." That's why I'm committed to regular communication about your pet and providing you with adorable update photos. I would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your furry (or not-so-furry) friend! I'm currently a part-time student and not working aside from pet sitting, so I have lots of time to hang out with your pet. I am unavailable for full time long-stays outside of my home, but message me and I would love to work with your needs to the best of my ability! My usual visits include a walk and/or playtime - to relieve any boredom, get their energy out, and provide exercise - a feeding if necessary, and I refresh their water at each visit. I always bring treats, and will ask about potential dietary restrictions in advance. I also like to dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes to sitting with your pet and giving them my full attention to keep them company, providing pets, brushing, or other affection. That said, I love doing my best to provide comfort to the less cuddly pets I care for as well. Some pets respond to their humans being away by seeking affection and some need their space - I will always listen to and follow your pet’s individual needs!

If your pup loves playmates, we would love them to join our holiday pack :) Claire works from home, so is able to offer frequent potty breaks and plenty of attention to our four legged friends during the day. Nights and weekends we may leave to run errands but will not leave pups for longer than a 4 hour stretch and will ensure they have been property fed and exercised prior to leaving. Our lives fully revolve around our pets! Because of this, guest dogs are part of the family while they stay with us. We love to play outside, lounge on the couch, and take special care to attend to the specific and unique needs of whatever pets we have in our home.
