“I cannot express how amazing Marissa has been!! My schedule has been insanely unpredictable and Marissa has been there for my pup throughout the whole thing. 1000000% recommend.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a house full of dogs—pit bulls, pugs, and all kinds of lovable mutts. My family fostered dogs regularly, so I’ve been around a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, handle different behaviors, and help dogs feel safe and cared for in new environments. I now have a pit bull of my own who’s sweet, goofy, and full of personality. I’m confident handling strong breeds and love connecting with every type of dog. Whether your pup is high-energy or more laid-back, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I’m a strength and conditioning coach with a flexible schedule, so I can often accommodate early mornings, midday walks, and evening drop-ins. My work is mostly part-time, and I build my schedule week by week, which allows me to prioritize pet care. Reach out with your preferred times—I’m happy to work with you to make it fit! When caring for your dog in your home, I make safety and routine my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, walks, and any house rules—whether that’s keeping your pup off the furniture or giving them treats after a walk. I’m experienced with dogs who are shy, excitable, or strong-willed, and I always approach with patience and kindness. If your dog needs medications or has special care instructions, I’ll handle those with care and consistency. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve been honored to call a tabby cat named Gata and a pit bull named Louie my best friends in this lifetime. I know how much your fur babies mean to you because I know how much mine mean to me and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness! I am experienced with other animal reactive pets and understand how these special buddies require patience, love, and understanding. Rest assured that as a social worker, I have endless patience and compassion to give to your fur babies. I look forward to becoming your pet’s newest best friend! I work full time and my schedule changes a bit but I can usually accommodate walks/drop ins before 9am and after 7pm. Afternoon walks/drop ins can be accommodated, we'll just need to discuss the best time for them. Because my schedule is a bit more unique, I'm big on communication and am open to discuss in advance any scheduling preferences. I am only offering drop in and walking services at the moment so I can give your pups and kitties some direct love, play, and attention in the comfort of their own home and environment.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for the last 25 years of my life. I just love how every pet has its own personality and how you connect on different levels with them. I treat every animal like my own, with patience, play and lots of belly rubs! I’m a homemaker so I have plenty of time especially in the mornings when my daughter is at school; and since I just have one kid and one dog I’m very available I have a fence yard in my house and a dog park in my neighborhood as well as a dog park just across the street

About: Hi, I’m Hanna! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, starting with feeding my neighbor’s 17 koi fish every morning at age 8. I’ve had dogs my whole life, including a Jindo and a Corgi that I raised from six months old. Today, I live with two cats and a puppy (all adopted from Austin shelters), so I’m very familiar with different animal personalities and needs. I recently volunteered with the Austin Animal Center, where I helped care for cats and matched them with adopters. I’m comfortable handling pets that are shy, energetic, or just need a little extra love and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I’m known for being reliable, calm, and detail-oriented. I’ll make sure your home stays secure and that your pets are happy and relaxed while you’re away. I'm currently in between jobs, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether you're looking for dog walks, cat check-ins, or house sitting, I'm here to help. I will always treat your pets like my own, with lots of love and safety precautions! I am between jobs so I have all the time in the world to care for your babies. I am flexible based on your schedule. My cats are escape artists so I have become accustomed to making sure the house is always secure. I am always on the lookout for items that my cats may get that could cause them injury. I’m strict about safety in my own home when it comes to my pets, and you can expect the same for your place.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life; some of my earliest memories are sitting on my family's back porch with a freezer pop and my arm slung over the shoulders of our big Great Dane. Formerly a Humane Society employee and currently a fitness trainer, mom, pet foster person, and rescue volunteer with a flexible schedule, I am dependable, hard-working, and a great communicator. I have experience with and am happy to care for cats, dogs, reptiles, and chickens. I would be honored to help provide the care and attention that will keep your pets healthy and happy. Contact me to book or set up a meet and greet - I'd love to meet you and your pets! As I am self-employed, I have a flexible schedule for pet care on a daily and weekly basis. I am available on both weekdays and weekends. I adhere to all safety and environmental measures you have set up for your pet and home, including crating, home security, monitoring, and other measures.

About: Pets have always been a part of my life - birds, fish, dogs, cats, mice, gerbils. I enjoy their unique personalities - even the fish! I've experienced the puppy or kitten as they mature, rescued discarded animals from the side of the road and nursed them through Parvo and starvation. My current rescue is an adult cat whose parents died of Covid. This was very stressful for her and after a couple of months of her absolute fear, I now have a very cuddly baby...even without her stress medications. I've volunteered with a pet rescue service where I walked several dogs at a time and played with the cats every evening. Your baby will be well cared for according to their needs and your instructions. I am able to make my schedule work around your needs (for the most part) with extended time available weekday evenings, Fridays, weekends and holidays. Caring for your pet is no different than caring for my pet or my child. Their needs are always met. Feedings, walks, playing, mess clean-ups (yep, I know that's a part of it), medications, all that's part of pet care. When staying with your pet at your home or during drop-in visits, I am able assure their needs and attention are well taken care of as well as the care of your space. Cleaning up accidents, litter boxes, rolling hair off of furniture is all part of what I do for you and your baby. I'll water your plants too! I'm a big believer of leaving the (you choose the word) better than I found it. Yep, I return carts left in the parking lot to the store...even in the rain.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of different household pets - currently in my care is a 5 year old ball python. I have previously cared for multiple dogs, including bully breeds. I also have experience with senior dogs, having recently rescued and rehabilitated a 130lb senior great dane/pit bull mix for the final few years of his life, as well as caring for past family dogs well into their later years. I grew up in a "more animals than people" household, so I've always been very accustomed to tending to the needs of various types of animals such as dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles, and I understand how stressful it can be to leave them home while you're away. One thing you can guarantee I'll say just about every time I leave the house is "I wish I could text my dog." That's why I'm committed to regular communication about your pet and providing you with adorable update photos. I would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your furry (or not-so-furry) friend! I'm currently a part-time student and not working aside from pet sitting, so I have lots of time to hang out with your pet. I am unavailable for full time long-stays outside of my home, but message me and I would love to work with your needs to the best of my ability! My usual visits include a walk and/or playtime - to relieve any boredom, get their energy out, and provide exercise - a feeding if necessary, and I refresh their water at each visit. I always bring treats, and will ask about potential dietary restrictions in advance. I also like to dedicate a minimum of 20 minutes to sitting with your pet and giving them my full attention to keep them company, providing pets, brushing, or other affection. That said, I love doing my best to provide comfort to the less cuddly pets I care for as well. Some pets respond to their humans being away by seeking affection and some need their space - I will always listen to and follow your pet’s individual needs!

“We loved Mariia taking care of our pets for the week. She fed our cat and walked the dog twice a day- was always on time, clearly communicated, and was always friendly and professional. I would trust her in my home anytime.”

Skilled in administering shots and oral medications, I ensure your furry friends are happy, healthy, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority! If I care for a pet in clients home, I will always ask about the routine and other questions to make sure your furry friend will stay happy while you’re away:)

About: We’re Claire and Juan Carlos, passionate animal parents and advocates who’ve always shared our lives with pets. Juan Carlos previously volunteered at the Austin Animal Shelter, and Claire has been pet sitting through Rover and word of mouth for over 10 years. Since Claire works from home, your pup will enjoy frequent potty breaks, playtime in the yard, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Our home is perfect for boarding, offering ample space, cozy couches for snuggles, and a large, fully fenced backyard for playtime—whether it’s squirrel chasing, ball fetching, or simply stretching those legs and sunbathing under the pergola. We have extensive experience caring for dogs during short weekend stays and extended visits lasting over two weeks. Your pup will also have the company of our two rescue dogs: Nelly, our senior foster Chihuahua, and Chucky, our playful one-eyed Shih Tzu who loves new friends. Our three cats are also well-adjusted to being around dogs. We’re an ideal match if your pup is accustomed and friendly to both small dogs and cats, enjoys snuggles, and has a medium to low energy level. While we can accommodate some higher-energy dogs, we strive to keep a calm, peaceful environment to ensure the comfort of our guests dogs, doggie residents, and the cats. If this sounds like the right fit for your pup, we’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out—we look forward to meeting you! — Holiday Note: Throughout November and December, we’ll be hosting a delightful group of friendly pups with welcoming personalities. Alongside our own two little ones, we may have 2-4 additional dogs at a time during the holiday season. Rest assured, we provide plenty of attention, space for play and relaxation, and accommodations for separate sleeping and dining as needed. However, if your pup prefers a solo environment, we might not be the best fit. If your pup loves playmates, we would love them to join our holiday pack :) Claire works from home, so is able to offer frequent potty breaks and plenty of attention to our four legged friends during the day. Nights and weekends we may leave to run errands but will not leave pups for longer than a 4 hour stretch and will ensure they have been property fed and exercised prior to leaving. Our lives fully revolve around our pets! Because of this, guest dogs are part of the family while they stay with us. We love to play outside, lounge on the couch, and take special care to attend to the specific and unique needs of whatever pets we have in our home.

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my furry friend to Chance. From the outset, Chance displayed a remarkable level of dedication and professionalism. What truly set Chance apart was his initiative in arranging a pre-walk meeting with both me and my dog. This allowed for a seamless transition on the scheduled day, as Chance already had a good understanding of my dog's needs and preferences. During the walk, Chance went above and beyond by sending regular photo and video updates. These thoughtful gestures not only reassured me of my dog's well-being but also demonstrated Chance's genuine care and attention to detail. I can confidently say that Chance is an outstanding dog walker who genuinely loves what he does. His commitment to providing top-notch care and keeping both pets and owners happy makes him a true gem in the world of dog walking. I highly recommend Chance to anyone seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver for their furry companions.”

About: Being a bilingual pet sitter allows me to connect easily with both pets and their owners. I have a natural ability to bond with animals, making them feel safe and comfortable while their humans are away. Each pet is unique, and I adapt to their needs—whether they crave playtime, affection, or quiet companionship. I carefully observe their behavior, ensuring they feel at ease. Beyond feeding and cleaning, I focus on trust and security. The best moments are when a once-shy pet finally warms up to me. Pet sitting isn’t just a job; it’s about creating meaningful connections with with your pets. 🐾💕 Being a musician gives me the flexibility to dedicate time to caring for pets. My schedule allows me to be available when pet owners need me most, whether it’s for daily visits, overnight stays, or last-minute care. This flexibility means I can adapt to each pet’s routine, ensuring they receive the attention, companionship, and care they need. Whether it’s taking a dog on a midday walk, spending quality time with a shy cat, or simply being there for feeding and playtime, I love being able to offer reliable care. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my life, and I cherish every moment of it. As someone with a flexible schedule, I provide pet care both in my home and in clients’ homes. Since I currently don’t have a pet, I can welcome pets into my home, where they have space to feel comfortable and enjoy my yard. This setup allows me to give them dedicated attention in a calm environment. At the same time, I understand that some pets feel safest in their familiar surroundings. My flexibility allows me to meet them in their own home, keeping their routine intact and ensuring they feel at ease. Whether in my home or theirs, I prioritize their comfort, care, and happiness.

“This was my first time ever using a rover sitter and a sitter in general for any of my pets. My dog has major separation anxiety which made me even more anxious about trusting anyone else with her. Carolina did an amazing job with her and she came back from the walk happy and tired. Her dog Milo was also fantastic, he seemed laid back and really well behaved and didn't mind my little girl at all. I will definitely recommend Carolina and I will be continuing dog walks with her.”

“Amazing! Finn loves Laura and she sends the cutest pics of him on his walks - he has so much fun! My favorite part of the day is receiving the pictures of Finn on his walk and reading Laura's detailed description of his walk :) Thank you Laura!”

“Solid service. This is one of those cases where doing sometimes ordinary in an extraordinary way wins the prize. All info was clear up front, Was cordial to me and friendly with my dog, asked the right questions before I left, she stayed in constant communication and sent several pictures, she figured things out when issues arose (and notified me immediately). Upon pick up, my dog was so happy he didn’t want to leave (lol!). This was my biggest metric for a successful stay. I was very satisfied. She has the full playbook down. 5 stars. Would work with her again.”

The absolute BEST!”
