“Raquel was great at communicating and taking care of Sage! We knew our girl was in good hands while we were away. Raquel took Sage for a walk, played with toys, and made sure she went potty. We appreciate it and will definitely reach back out to Raquel next time we need a dog sitter!”

About: I have owned dogs since I was born. I have taken care of energetic crazy ones that have big bursts of energy in some that just like to lay around I like to walk dogs, hang out with them and get to know their personalities. I’m going to be a senior at the University of Iowa I have a part-time job. I have a pretty flexible schedule besides my class times. I’m free almost every afternoon and early in the morning. At home, I like to make sure my pets always have water since dehydration is very common in pets. I like to make sure they have plenty of toys to exercise their mind and I like to give them a treat once in a while when they’re being nice or sweet.

“Sarah is reliable and trustworthy. Truly, she has been a saving grace so many times for us. I’m glad she’s apart of my families “village”. She had our highest level of recommendation.”

“Meredith did an outstanding job minding our two cats and she was more than willing to assist with getting mail, light watering of plants/garden, and emptying our dehumidifier while we were on vacation for almost two weeks. Communication (and pictures!) were excellent and I really never worried whether our animals and home were in good hands while we were away. I would not hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Elise did an amazing job taking care of our dogs! She provided excellent communication, sending updates and ensuring I felt at ease. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you, Elise!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 20. Family and friends have relied on me to feed and take care of their pets. I have 2 dogs, which one is still a puppy. I can dispense medicine if needed. I have a large backyard. I prefer to do a meet & greet to make sure everyone gets along. I have lots of time to spend with my dogs, taking them on walking and playing with them, giving them lots of attention. I enjoy spending time with animals. I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 fur dogs as well to keep your dogs company. I also can crate your dog as well.

About: I was raised in a home with lots of animals, dogs, cats and fish. My grandparents raised rabbits and birds. I was around pets domestic and exotic and love all creatures. My first job was pet sitting, my second was in a horse stable. I've had animals in my care my whole life. My day job is caring for humans as a nurse, I would love to say hi to your good boys and girls! I do work 4 days a week and so my schedule will be open around those hours. I don't mind waking up early, or staying up a little late. My noon hour availability is on my days off. Our dogs are herding breed and very active, so I am used to playing all of the games. I like to use positive reinforcement with all animals. I will treat your home with respect just like I do my own.

“Renee was able to accommodate a last-minute drop-in. The dogs seemed very comfortable with her and got lots of snuggles and attention. We are looking forward to having her watch them for an extended time in a couple of months.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs from letting them out to staying at their homes. These dogs range from 40lbs to 120lbs. I love taking dogs on walks etc I’m a full time nursing student so it would fit around classes. I also work part time at the hospital. Typically free on most weekends I don’t have a fenced in yard. That being said if the dogs are outside we would typically be on walks or at the dog park.

About: Hi! I am Anjelica and I am a huge animal lover. I've been babysitting children for around eight years, but I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with German shepherds in my family, and I currently own a standard poodle who I train and groom myself. We are currently training to compete in AKC rally and agility! I would love to help with dog grooming, including haircuts and bathing. As well as walking, feeding, sitting, transportation to appointments, and potential boarding. I am also comfortable with other pets such as cats, reptiles, birds etc. I am a current PhD student at the University of Iowa therefore my schedule is a little more flexible. I have only a couple of classes a week however I am available most evenings, weekends, and some times during the week. Currently, I live in a townhome where I have a little patio area in the back. I have one standard poodle. He is male and one years old. I groom him myself, and I train him for AKC sports and events.

“Natalie was wonderful to work with. She was very open with communication, and did such a good job taking care of our cat. I hate leaving my cat, but felt very confident knowing Natalie was looking in on her.”

About: I have owned dogs for as long as I can remember, and have helped care for them my whole life. I have trained them all. I have experience with behavior challenged dogs, as well as older dogs with medical issues. I am a pre-veterinary student and I have been a trusted pet and house sitter for friends and family for years. Your fur babies will be safe and cared for, and I take about a million pictures of every pet I come across, so expect to be sent tons! (; I work part time and have plenty of time to take care of pets, ensuring they get quality care and the attention that they deserve! I make sure that I know exactly what the pets will need and where everything to take care of them is. If walking, I always make sure I have the correct equipment for each specific dog. I treat each animal based on their personality and needs, no pet is the same! I ensure that I have a plan in case of an emergency.

“When Sky arrived, she had such positive energy. Chesna immediately jumped up in her lap and laid down. Sky was so intuitive to Chesna's mood and body language, which is exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be hiring her again.”
